  1. this was the thought that came to mind as to why Harrison would take this role, and why they'd cast him, he's a massive star that can carry a character, and if they just Red Hulk him out, he can literally sit in a chair and just make facial expressions for years to come, while some vfx dudes cgi his body. and Marvel Studios can say "come see Red Hulk played by Harrison Ford" and the registers will ching ching
  2. Yeah this figure should have gotten better treatment being it was fueled by a brand new show that was supposed to be the hype, but in reality this was an easy figure to get in the wave because it re-uses so much, this was kinda the rock python of the wave, a pretty easy slap in the pack figure that didn't require tons of money spent on tooling, and in the end it feels like that, just not put to par, he looks awkward standing in a vanilla pose, and don't get me on the way that vest moves when his arms go anywhere past straight to his side. and yeah Hydra Stomper as a example of why did that guy get more love? then this? when I still see Hydra Stompers turning pegs to ashes, the demand wasn't there but for some reason the Hasbro Crystal ball predicted a huge seller, while this is actually highly desired by the fans. they should have given this more love, but this was certainly the "let's find a way to keep costs down" figure here. I hope we get a comic Mr. Knight that is better executed sometime down the road, and I can sell this one.
  3. While this figure actually does a pretty good job of depicting the actress in plastic form, I just dislike this actress in this role and the show itself to much to make me add this to my collection, but overall it's a good representation of what it should be, and they got the suit really right in that show that was a high point of being so comic accurate.
  4. Man this figure looks nice, of course it looks so much more intricate and well sculpted compared to the Legend (which I like), obviously this more premium item should be better, I love this figure, if I didn't have a ML jean in this outfit already, I'd shuck out the dough to get this.
  5. This is how i felt, this figure should have been the same size, or about the same size it makes no sense, other then they just were lazy, because this figure re-uses so many existing parts. anyways I really wanted this figure, as someone who is dedicated to all Moon Knight legends figures, I wanted this to be a stand in for the Comics suit, and it does that fine, but in hand this figure is pretty weak, it's got so much re-use, and it feels like a let down, the vest hinders good movement in the torso and arm department, it's just not that great of a figure IMO.
  6. When they first released the Scorpion in that Molten Man wave I was a bit let down, because I felt I wanted more this version, but I very quickly changed my mind, and still seeing this figure I'm happy with the previous one, not say this isn't a fine enough repaint, it's just too bright and way too cartoon influenced for my liking.
  7. I actually didn't know that about the MvC game, so that's information to me, and thanks for providing clarity, I always just presumed War Machine was the Ken to Iron Man's Ryu in the game, As for the Toybiz thing, yeah didn't really think of that, I just had thought it was an easy variant, since they were doing Variants in those Face Off packs, but didn't really know the details behind it. fair enough on all points, I maybe was too harsh on this figure from the jump, I mean the most important element of this release is that people actually wanted this figure to happen, so just because I'm not stoked on it, doesn't mean it does not have warrant to be released and others are happy. I redact my negativity, it seems way more okay now that you gave me the info you did, Happy for those people who would like this in their collection, I;ll pass.
  8. I wouldn't buy this, but it's actually a fairly nice looking figure, this is a good example of Shading done right, this looks extremely comic book, like it's straight from the pages, I appreciate what they were trying to do here.
  9. When I saw this earlier on social media I wasn't even sure what I was seeing, I just presumed this was already released, I thought it was an old figure I forgot about, that's how boring this re-paint is to me, 2 Rhodey Re-paints in 6 months. I don't like the paint apps on this, that silver looks almost blue. Easy pass, pretty sure this isn't armor he wore in comics, and just a strange homage to toybiz toys and MvC, which were both just being lazy and not wanting to design a new WM so they just painted a Iron Man Gray Tones, this was originally created as a product of uninspired apathy.
  10. I still really want this Gamora, but I wonder if we will get a much better one next year for GOTGV3, because I like this look for Gamora, I thought this was a well done figure for the time, leaps and bounds better then V1 Gamora that was a pretty willy nilly figure likeness.
  11. Yeah really though this was such a nice looking figure, it had that power, I said I wasn't going to buy this, just because it was a re-paint of the Super-Skrull Wave She-Hulk, but I liked it so much I caved, I don't even feel regretful, I'm totally cool with having both this version and the Gray one. Testament to a just outright good looking figure. I'm still eagerly awaiting and new Red Shulk though it's about time.
  12. Figure is really well done IMO, this is my personal favourite look for Adam, and they did a good job here, minus forgetting to paint his hair, Yes I agree with other people on the fact Hasbro needs to give characters effect pieces that actually correspond with their powers, not just the same effects over and over again. I'm glad we actually got a Blue Marvel though, Hope eventually we can get his main bad Anti-Man.
  13. But Jeff was Obadiah. if he wasn't that would be a great choice, but, hey also I guess Marshalala Ali can be both Cottonmouth and Blade, so anything could happen now.
  14. I'm not mad at what they did with this character as looks are concerned for the MCU, but I don't really like this figure, much like the MCU Namor I feel like it lacks in shading and muscle tones, the figure looks flat and mannequin esque for something that should have more definition since it's from a movie, and based off a real person, this figure just doesn't do much for me, but I'm excited to see them in the movie. and if anyone wants some BAF parts for this guy lemme know, I got the ones from BP, Hutut and Nakia, I don't need.
  15. I actually really like this Legolas Thor, to everyone not interested I can get it, but I think they tooling they did here is pretty impressive for a figure that likely most people are not going to buy (maybe for a BAF part?), but the overall presentation here for this figure is pretty stand out I'd say, The gradient on the cape, the clear effect Hammer, the texture on the suit and armor, and bunch of Birds (ahem, so we can't get a bird with a guy who needs a bird...cough you know who Hasbro), This figure personally looks really good on a shelf, I'm not even a huge fan of this story this look is from, I just think this is a nice looking offering from Hasbro.
  16. This figure is Amazing IMO, to anyone on the fence about this, I'd say get this, even to you Air-Walker, it's better then the WM for sure, it's the definitive Comic Black Panther I'd say, don't know how much better they can do, and to Atlantis, I think if you prefer 1 strap on the cape that could be a really easy mod, just cut one of the straps off and bingo. I'm a huge fan of this figure and recommend this for anyone's comic legends collection
  17. I agree with the whole he is already very old, Harrison ford would be pretty great in this role, I could see him being just as strong as a cast as William Hurt, but sadly if they do infact re-cast with Ford, how long can Ford play this role? at already being 80 years old? I guess they can let him just do what he can for whatever time he's got and then just replace him with another older fellow. I always thought Sam Elliott was an amazing Ross, not sure why they didn't recast him, although he's only 2 years younger then Harrison. I like the idea of Harrison in this role, just not sure how long he can carry it.
  18. Kinda cute I guess, but I feel like personally I don't need these big reminders that Marvel is just another member of the house of the mouse, makes it all feel so machine driven, which it all is, but I like to pretend it's still 1992 sometimes.
  19. So looking at the current numbers with 19 days left, Robbie & His Car are at 5,170, I think this is the lowest it's been since this Campaign Started, do we think this is just not going to happen? or is there anyway they pull this out of the mud and get everyone on board last minute, can a Blackheart save it? would anything save this? or has the community spoken, this isn't what they want and at the price being offered?
  20. Lady Loki and Terrax are definite exact re-releases, except doesn't Lady Loki come with like extra hands? Poor Terrax even comes with the ancient Balljoint hips (they really could have fixed that one). Zemo and Quasar are not re-releases though, just the Exclusivity for Walgreens expired. But I guess here we are in the age of Straight up re-releases with an Accessory or 2, I remember when Hasbro said that they don't do straight up re-releases, they always add something new, new deco, new head... well guess they changed that song and dance, but hey maybe they will give us a Man-Thing, Dreadknight, Hela, Blastaar and Radioactive Man, I wouldn't scoff at that, while they are at it, give us Ms. Marvel (Carol) with a new head and Professor X again.
  21. I'm actually shocked they are releasing the exact same figure as before, I always thought that Hasbro never re-released a figure exactly the same? they said thet before, so I guess that changed, because this is just the Homecoming wave Moon Knight again, but I guess we already saw them re-release Lady Loki, so I shouldn't be that startled, but this being a higher price point without a BAF piece, I think a ton will be bummed, but I guess also this figure goes for crazy prices on the aftermarket so a lot of folks will be happy to get this. I already have this, so I'm coool.
  22. Daughter of Blade is kinda fun, I read Ghost Light as in like...oh the Diet version of Ghost, haha clearly doesn't seem like that's what it is here. Anyways kinda interested in reading some new Blade material. I might get back into following some comic series next year I kinda miss it after I bailed in 2020.
  23. I love this figure, I didn't think I'd love it as much as I do, sure at first I liked it , but after getting it in hand, and out of the box, it took front and centre on one of my shelves, I just think it's so great looking, it's what I'd imagine a pretty much perfect comic Lizard figure should be. I do prefer the more 90's head though, I have no shame in owning this and the BAF, both are equally as awesome. This is a good example of Hasbro doing excellent work.
  24. The More I see this the more I like it, the figure itself just feels like the right IM for me in terms of the armour, reminding me of MVC and the Cartoon and Action figures from the 90's this was essentially the IM I got most familiar with seeing, but I still will pass but it's hard, I;ll stick with the 80th, I gotta not just buy so many variants of charaters because they look cool, I said originally years ago, just get the 1 most iconic to you look of each character, still shed a tear the day that went out the window. Must resist.
