  1. Going back to this figure, I actually watched the full video, in hopes he'd do a headswap, with the older heads and new body, this I was curious about, it looks like it works? I kinda like it, maybe in the end I will keep this Namor and swap the heads with a previous one, I just don't vibe with the rock star head, but the body is actually pretty cool. Although in the end I'm still content with the Walgreens/X-Men/Illuminati Namor I have, and probably don't really need to keep this guy.

It would be cool, maybe Hasbro could do the Toy Biz variant colours as a giftset or something

I wish they'd do the variants, would be really cool, I'd be all over it, but they really need to get on giving us a Hybrid figure, seems overdue, let's get that one first.

also how has that Monster Venom buck not been used yet for a Venom the Madness? the Deluxe "big" Venom should have been that figure and not a re-paint of the Monster Venom, would have given it more mileage.

A deluxe Mimic would be really cool

it would be crazy for them not to try that one, he's pretty basic, only thing that they would need are...oh hey here are the wings! boom, done.

also like I said pretty easy to give us Blue Eagle and Sky Lark with these wings, not much in terms of new tooling for those 2, Now Harpy yes..but having these wings in the tool cabinet really opens up some doors for potential winged characters.

Exactly, like he already have a version with the Waldos, so why not you that one and just add a new head. That's the problem with some of these re-release waves, they don't always use the best version.

Yeah it's the fact that they already have done better on these 2, that re-packing the least best offerings is a real head scratcher, but I guess things like less Waldoes, no extra heads, etc, really saves them money, but how much? once these land at Ross & Ollies in a year, they'd probably wish they packed these with a bit more accessories to get more bite, Like I said you can get these figures already better, and for a fine price.

Exactly, looks great, multiple heads and a bonus thing for Apocalypse. While this is still a great figure and if I wanted him as Angel, this is my favourite look, it's not a must get. I may get it if it was reduced.

Yes like I've said, this Angel figure is really quite nice, just not a thing I desire, I'm happy so many people are getting it though after it was asked for by the fans for years, Sure if maybe it goes into a cheaper price range I might just have that I need to buy something urge one day and get it, I'm also pretty certain at some point they will also re-paint this in the Blue, so there is that option as well, but at this point for myself it's Archangel and I'm good.

they did really do these Wings wonderfully though, They could use these for Mimic at some point, or A Harpy perhaps! , Blue Eagle?, Sky Lark?

But maybe this time he could keep that same magic he had as Matt and maybe they can make DD just a little more DD.

Yeah I mean from what we saw in She-Hulk he seemed more DD, so let's hope they keep that momentum.

is DD supposed to be in this Echo show? I keep hearing he is, but no real confirmation? am I just going coocoo?

    *edit

Answered my own question, yes it appears evident multiple sources say Charlie Cox is Daredevil in Echo.

so guess we will find out more, how Marvel is handling DD post Netflix.

Still waiting for the Ultimate Iron Spider, with the waldos and Kill Mode head

See they could have done this, at least give the MCU collectors something worth maybe quad dipping for, how many times can they re-release this figure? this is what the 4th time? and this is the worst iteration, at least even at the least they could done the Waldoe version from that 2 pack, the Iron Man as well...how many times for Mark 85? 3? and this yet again isn't even the best version, I think this is the Lebowski Thor version.

they really phoned these in, it seems almost destined for pegwarming status on these two, because people have them, and nothing about these would seem to tempt people to dip again, sure new collectors might want these, but then again they could probably find these figures in some form, I know I still see the Mark 85 snap hand and Snapped Thanos pack in stores, and nobody wants the least awesome offering of Iron Spider.

hope some people are happy, because to me personally these are some of the most redundant and uninspired things we have seen as of late for Legends, just new boxes for the lowest on the totem versions of figures.

I feel the same. Archangel is my favourite look for Warren and I have the Deluxe version, so I don't really need this.

Yeah, and they did a pretty good job with the Archangel we got, sure it's on the Bucky Cap Buck, but it works for him, and the fact they gave us 3 different heads was a high note, ever since I got that figure I felt like I probably didn't need another version of Warren, the Angel look was always just sorta meh to me, he wasn't very cool then, but Archangel..now that's cool. I'm actually shocked we still don't have a re-do of the X-Force Archangel because that would be easy...it already exists pretty much with no need for improvement. I wouldn't buy it but I know others would.

I meant the old toy Biz one, which mine is the variant. So yeah, I have two inaccurate Lashers

    lasher_lucks_out_by_leokearonmsc_ddyoxja

Ah yes I see, and yup just looking at that Toybiz Lasher it's such a sad moment for the Legends team, that they went so far off with the buck choice, Lasher was buffer and bigger, and not in anyway was the Pizza Spidey buck appropriate for him, the Toybiz Lasher still looks pretty darn cool I say.

The Variant colors also on this one you have are really rad, I actually don't have that variant, the variants over time did get more scarce, funny enough I also remember the only character to not get a variant was Scream.

really hope one day Hasbro revisits Lasher and puts him on something like the Vulcan buck. I mean they should at some point, because that Lasher is super hard to get, and wanted by a ton of people, and commands high prices on the market, and it's not because it's good it's because people need it for the LF Symbiotes team.

  10. Everytime I see this figure the more I like it, but I've already dedicated myself to skipping it, it doesn't have a BAF piece and I really don't need another comic BP, I already have 3 of them, enoughs enough, but is this one of BP's best looks, yeah, the Priest run was a good read as well, this figure is nice, I don't want to want it, I must be strong.

Might not be strong if it ever goes on sale...but until then I will admire it from a far.

To me it really makes no difference if they made the Netflix show cannon or not. It was great in his own dirty gritty way and I really enjoyed it but he just wasn't as heroic as he was in the comics and I kept waiting for him to be like that. In the comics he was 10x the BA he was in the Netflix. He would glide around like Spidey with his grappling hook. His radar made it virtually impossible to sneak up on him. He could feel the air hit his skin before a strike allowing his reflexes to react faster making him nearly impossible to hit by anyone who didn't have superpowers themselves. He went toe to toe with guys like Spidey and Cap and Wolverine. In the Netflix show he took an Invincible level beat down in at least every other episode. Then Elektra calls him the best fighter she's ever known only to have to save his buns from the fire in every other episodes between those beat downs. I mean as a vigilante you have to go out every night thinking you're going to win the fight but how many L's do you take before you start to rethink your path in life? I know his unbreakable will is part of his character but that seems to be the only thing they really got right.

I do like the way they approached his abilities in the She-Hulk show. Bouncing and flipping all over the place with unnatural agility and using his hook and line as fluid as he does in the comic. As a matter of fact that was about the only good part of the show. If they could keep the feel of Netflix but make his skill set a bit more comic-ish I would be happy. I know I'm in the minority here because pretty much everyone else I know is calling for the new show to be more or less a continuation of the Netflix but dude it's been so long. A little change for the better is sometimes a good thing. Now doing it right is the key. Which is something Disney+ has not been able to do since Loki season 1. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if DD was the one to break that chain.

I think the reason for him being less skilled as a fighter, and not having all of the comic skill sets in the Netflix show was because he was still learning, it was his debut, he was still figuring it out, if you did notice he progresses by the end of the last season, and if you can see by the time we got to she-hulk he was far more improved in his techniques, going forward I'm sure he will be more like his comic counterpart in terms of his abilities, because he is more experienced, he was just setting out in the Netflix shows.

  12. Still just like the Retro/Vintage one better, just the metallic paint really is sweet, sure a bunch of inaccurate things going on between the two that I don't need to get into, but I just don't care about this one here, it's good, but I'm growing fatigued on characters I already have, more new please, but I know a ton of people are still looking for a Vision in their collection so happy they are getting a chance with this one, but I'm only buying this for a BAF piece.

Also on another note, my goodness how bad that Hulk Buster wave Vision is, that's poopy, I never liked it, but seeing it again after so long, it just looks terrible, I can't even think of why they did that outfit for him *sigh*

  13. I might be like the only person from what I can see that is passing on this Angel, it looks really nice don't get me wrong, but I just don't need it for my collection, I have Archangel and that is just perfect for me, I don't need to double up on characters anymore, I hate that I already have in the past, I try to stay away from that, so I am passing on this Angel, kinda makes me sad because I really like it, but I just don't think I care enough. This never was my fav look for the character, I already got my Ideal Warren.

  14. Yeah this specific look for Namorita isn't one I really know, I do remember her with Blue skin as Kymera in the 90's but this isn't that version, this is something newer and I'm not really familiar, but I don't care because this figure looks awesome, I'm loving what's going on here, the face is excellent, and despite me not really knowing this outfit it looks good, I'm really happy to get this, but I also would have prefered like almost any other look for her, but I'll take em all.

Yeah, it is amazing to have two Lashers and neither of them are correct.

Wait we have 2 lashers? do you mean the fact we have that old Toybiz one, and the Marvel Legends one? because there is only the scrawny one in Legends, but if meaning both Toybiz and Legends, The Toybiz one was infact way more accurate then the Legends...I'd say the Toybiz one was Accurate and in actuality a better representation of Lasher.

  16. I really fumbled here on keeping track of when the polls went up, and it bums me out because I adore these end of the year polls, I failed, anyways not so shocking that Black Widow was the top of the list, she was a clear champion, what a beautiful figure, I still don't have her, thanks to her being so loved, not an easy find here in Canada for a reasonable price, but I also didn't know if I really had to have her, despite her being amazing, but due to me having every other Comic Widow, I just didn't feel mega urge, still will buy if the stars align for me, but won't weap if I don't have her, I can admire her from afar. Interesting that people loved Blob so much as he slid into 2nd place, I did enjoy that figure, but I'm just not a huge Blob fan overall..was nice though, 3rd spot being NWH Goblin makes huge sense, I would have imagined him getting 2nd, that's a nice figure, but my no movie figure policy has me staying away from him.

good year in Legends IMO, we got a ton of awesome comic stuff. I was happy. NoW Marrina! just do it...

okay first off, let's keep this topic civil, don't want to see it going into negative places.

and well that is a turn of events, surprised to see someone leave a marvel film, but hey if Steven sees that's not the direction for him, well he made the choice, and now they can move on to recast, Steven just not being a part isn't going to stop this movie from materializing

Oh I can dream, one day please Hasbro Stegron.

but on to the best of list.

I can't think of what my top 5 favs were...because I actually thought we had an amazing year for Legends in 23', so many really good comic figures, but just I love her so much and was waiting for her for years, my top figure is CLEA!

but it's also gotta be figures like M & Chamber (I need me all of Gen X), Classic Drax, Destroyer, Lady Bullseye, Mania, Ronan...Elektra DD, those were awesome figures that come to mind.

    Wishlist

Marrrrrina ! , stop playing Hasbroz

More Gen X, all of Gen X, including Emplate and Orphan Maker

    Racheal Phoenix

Werewolf By Night (AND ALL OF THE MONSTERS)

    Dan Ketch Ghosty

    New Man-Thing

Mandarin (because this still hurts, Tony doesn't have his arch rival)

    Mordo (same reason as Mandarin)

Black Spectre & Bushman (for same reason as above)

    Carrion

    Satana (don't be scared)

    Swarm

    Manphibian

Professor X again. (for my selfish need of a comic prof x)

I wondering if we will ever get the Life Foundation Symbiotes in their wacky Toy Biz colours

I wish, that would be rad, I do still own all of those Toy Biz Life Foundation Symbiotes, I have most of the figures from those Venom lines, as obviously before Legends were in the swing of putting out Symbiotes I had to have that collection, I have a few of those weirdo color variants, I really doubt Hasbro would ever give us those weird variants, that really doesn't go with their steez, however if those weird color variants were not just toys and had some comic source material we could, Hey I'm still waiting for Hasbro to give us an actual good Lasher on a appropriate buck, that spidey buck they used for him was so wrong and awful it hurts, he never looked like that in the books, I hate that (but love that it exists) figure, what a dookie. I also really would like them to give us a classic Riot, I want the original gray version.

Reminds me of ToyBiz's Venom the Madness. In fact this line, reminds me of Toy Biz's Web Splasher's line

Yup that's what they are going for I guess, Yeah Venom in the toy lines always gets a Green Variant, I love it, I'm all for wacky color variations of any Symbiote.

that being said, I want this little green Venom, I will grab this if I see it just for the fun of it.

Well if we do get Freak he better come with a swappable head with that amazing goatee. The 1602 episode was brilliant, then again any episode with Captain Carter seems to be great. You could easily make an entire wave of ML with this one episode.

the only complaint I have is that they used Robin Hood as a theme yet left the 2 archers in the Avengers out of the episode?

Yeah Episode was and could be a whole series on it's own, and a whole wave of Legends, but really odd that not one archer ha! I agree.

it is true that Cap Carter seems to always get the better episodes..she's actually kinda the focal point of this show secretly it seems.

I will bet in the nearer future we see Live Action Cap Carter in the MCU (even yes though she was already in it), she'll be back, Hayley wants that.

Nice holiday special. Marvel meets Die Hard. and of all things I never thought we would see the Freak make his debut. I think we found the BAf of the next D+ wave.

As Soon as I saw that episode I thought, that's gotta be a BAF/or Deluxe, it's too fun not too be, Personally out of the current other options of likely BAF's I.E. Racing Car Iron Man, Happy as The Freak is way cooler.

This thing looks great. I might have gotten it if I hadn't swore off MCU figures years ago. If I were to start now I'd end up having to chase down figures from the past few years. Great for MCU figure fans.

Same here, I think this figure looks pretty damn nice, but I have said No MCU/non comic figures, and I gotta stick to that, it's cool in so many ways, fair enough likeness, bendy tentacles, all kinds of good, but I am on the no MCU/Animated/Game etc figures so I gotta say no to this, but it's tough when you see cool things like this.
