  1. Might be the best X-Men wave. Doesn't mean I can't nitpick lol Dark Phoenix: I have the 2-Pack but what kind of X-Men fan would I be if I didn't pick this up? Sorta wish she came with a second translucent head. Might buy multiples so I can plop Gray Black Widow's head on her for my temp Rachel Summers. Spiral: Perfect. No notes. Longshot: The Boxed set kinda took the thunder out of this release but he still looks great. Avalanche: Dude needs a new look LOL But I do need an Avalanche on my Villains shelf. Multiple Man: Wish the design was yellow instead of gold. The golds don't really POP against the green. Even the Wolverine is kind of essential. He opens up a new team to collect. Storm and Banshee looking good too.
  2. As someone who was a huge fan of the Original X-Men movies, yea get these Fox X-Men out of the way in this Multiverse Saga so we can start fresh AFTER Secret Wars. Please.
  3. I wonder if this boxed set will eventually end up at EB Games Canada (now AKA Gamestop Canada) a la the Hellfire Club set.
  4. Beast with better/calm face is an easy pick up. Hated that Caliban Wave/X-Men 1 Jim Lee head.
  5. The idea that Marvel Studios is supposedly not calling the team X-Men (because there's also women in the group) is ridiculous. Victoria Alonso needs to shut her face LOL Besides that theory is quickly shut down with the other mutant-centric project that Disney has already announced: X-men '97.
  6. VHS Sinister and Storm from Pulse arrived today. Got Maggot from EB/Gamestop here in the westcoast. Still no sign of Siryn.
  7. Just think: Rachel will be on a better female buck. So I don't mind this being a 3-Pack and getting Rachel on a regular wave with a BAF part and with sturdier legs.
  8. This should've been a 4-Pack X-Men Rogues Gallery Boxed Set with a 4-Pack Marvel Legend price tag meaning around $80US. Is Wolverine really the selling point for X-Men fans for this? Still waiting for this set to go on sale. Was biding my time when it was going down in price about a month 1/2 ago (?) and it went as low as $94US. And even then I couldn't bring myself to get it.
  9. Mojo set looks cool. Really liking the ingenious ways they are doing the X-Men packaging in particular: Hellfire Club and this one. Heck you can even display this TV, the TV guide and the remote next to your X-Men The Animated Series VHS boxes! Mojo's torso does look weird in the 3D render LOL Will need a closer look at the figure itself. At least he's taller than the previous BAF Mojo. I always thought he looked way undersized especially next to other figures. Yea for this price I wish they included an extra X-Baby. Would've liked a Rogue one. All that said, most likely picking this but will hold out til I can *also* preorder Morph (so I can save on shipping). Hopefully that rumoured Tuesday date is true. Please don't sell out čś×
  10. Yea I'd rather get Good and Evil Morph heads. These 2 are musts. I can just plop any other male head (or that Jean head from Dan's twitter gif reply HA) on him if I want to. Everyone here has more than enough extra Wolverine or Cyclops or Gambit heads. Hopefully whatever neck peg they decide to give him fits MOST heads. If they were really charitable...they can pack in a non cel shaded Changeling head.
  11. Thank god they got the eye colour right! I was just in London and wish I toy hunted. These probably weren't in stores though (Pulse exclusives and all). Looking forward to getting her. I already got a notification for Wolverine from Pulse of them about to charge my CC.
  12. I don't mind not having the screaming head. I'm more worried about that cape, seems to be the same material as the cape that came in the TAS/Jim Lee Storm and I could never make that look good on display. Seems to just flop there. Atleast this one doesn't have ropes/shoelaces to tie it down to her wrists unlike Storm! That said, excited to finally get a Siryn. I don't think we even got a Siryn in the old 5" line from Toybiz in the 90s right? Is this her first ever action figure?
  13. I really like that Doctor Strange head and want to repurpose it for Senator Kelly.
  14. HAHHAHAHAHA *pause* HAHAHAHAHAHA I just can't with the Spidey corner of the Marvel Universe, alternate universe or not. Not just that (any character inevitably becomes Spidered) but this design makes her look like she's 64. I recognize it's comic accurate but come on...a bun?!
  15. Yea I think that's it. Sabes it is. Damnit I thought we had something there lol
  16. HAHAHA nailed it! It really does look like that. I recognize it's not everyone's cup of tea and Legends figures were probably not the right format for his art but I'm really liking these Paul Harding heads mostly because I like doing caricatures and really enjoy Mort Drucker's work on Mad Magazine.
  17. Man, who knew Toad had so many fanboys/girls. LOL Toybiz/Hasbro really doing the lord's work dragging him out this long. Don't get me wrong I'm definitely getting him as I'm an X-Men fanboy completist, but the character is quite lame, especially among the X-Men's rogues gallery. Question for the group: was Toad's "wicked" tongue [Senator] a movie invention? Also on Dan's background, which Toybiz figure is behind Morph? Purple packaging so it's a villain. His (?) face is even peeking out. My guesses were Forearm or Gideon based on the face or the ponytail but those were on the X-Force card.
  18. J Jonah Jameson never made it to the West Coast. I think I saw ONE post on FB about finding Kingpin in Ontario for dirt cheap as well but alas not here. Ditto HOX wave, hasn't made it out here either. I did find Firestar for $9.99. People have also been finding the Ursa Major wave for the same price. Kinda gave up on building him but for $9.99 a pop, that's motivation enough to build Demon Bear.
  19. So have the VHS X-Men figures only been released in the UK? US/Canadian Pulse customers haven't gotten any of them right?
