I don't mind not having the screaming head. I'm more worried about that cape, seems to be the same material as the cape that came in the TAS/Jim Lee Storm and I could never make that look good on display. Seems to just flop there. Atleast this one doesn't have ropes/shoelaces to tie it down to her wrists unlike Storm! That said, excited to finally get a Siryn. I don't think we even got a Siryn in the old 5" line from Toybiz in the 90s right? Is this her first ever action figure?

I really like that Doctor Strange head and want to repurpose it for Senator Kelly. -
Man, who knew Toad had so many fanboys/girls. LOL Toybiz/Hasbro really doing the lord's work dragging him out this long. Don't get me wrong I'm definitely getting him as I'm an X-Men fanboy completist, but the character is quite lame, especially among the X-Men's rogues gallery. Question for the group: was Toad's "wicked" tongue [Senator] a movie invention? Also on Dan's background, which Toybiz figure is behind Morph? Purple packaging so it's a villain. His (?) face is even peeking out. My guesses were Forearm or Gideon based on the face or the ponytail but those were on the X-Force card.

J Jonah Jameson never made it to the West Coast. I think I saw ONE post on FB about finding Kingpin in Ontario for dirt cheap as well but alas not here. Ditto HOX wave, hasn't made it out here either. I did find Firestar for $9.99. People have also been finding the Ursa Major wave for the same price. Kinda gave up on building him but for $9.99 a pop, that's motivation enough to build Demon Bear. -

So have the VHS X-Men figures only been released in the UK? US/Canadian Pulse customers haven't gotten any of them right? -
Completely forgot about Bishop (and Cable) and now I'll be so disappointed if we don't get a Bishop in the VHS line. Hopefully they give him a second head with his buzzcut look that he sports in the Onslaught arc from the Joe Mad! Uncanny 330's comics (yea I know he doesn't have that look in TAS).

Yea it is disappointing that they couldn't bother to make a new headsculpt, especially considering the original Love Triangle Jean Grey head wasn't universally loved either. That said, I'm all in on the line. It hits my nostalgia fanboy sweet spot. X-Men TAS is practically why I'm a Marvel Fanboy (after my bro introduced us to Marvel characters via trading cards and Infinity War comics), so there was never a doubt I was collecting these. I initially thought I was only going to order the heroes but with that new shipping charge every order, I figured the hell with it and got Sinister too.

I know a lot of people don't like the overly done cel shading but I thought the recently revealed Storm TAS figure looked perfect. If I wanted the regular white suited Storm I would just buy the retro carded one (I've got an unboxed and a boxed one already). The preorders for Jean is supposed to be tomorrow as per Dan's tweet so I'm looking forward to ordering Jean, Storm and the Excalibur boxed set to save on shipping. That said I wish they revealed the figure at the same time as the VHS box.

Hoping for additional VHS reveals. Would like to see what Jean Grey looks like. And hopefully, Morph.
