  1. A Morph that comes with extra male heads that could double as Uncanny X-men 275 Cover characters. Edit: LOL It looks like only Gambit would fit that criteria. Forge would need a different leg and Banshee would need the wings. Wolverine is a different body type altogether. I guess they can do a jacketed and unjacketed look (a la Moira and Reed) with an Evil Morph head, along with the Gambit head. But I'm getting the "Lower the expections" tweet flashing in front of me.
  2. Really excited about the inclusion of Julia & Eric Lewald, the showrunners of the 90s X-Men Animated Series.
  3. Thanks man. Really appreciate that. I wish he was able to watch Infinity War. He loved those comics. He was the one who introduced me (and our other younger cousins) into comics.
  4. Only X-Men. Though I do have a mostly "cosmic" shelf for Adam Warlock, Thanos and friends (Thor, Silver Surfer...Hulk) dedicated to my late brother 😇). And with my X-Men Fandom, I had to get the X-Men movie figures (I loved the original cast) and I've cherry-picked other MCU characters that would've belonged there (Scarlet Witch) or that my brother loved (Charlie Cox Daredevil). But mostly X-Men.
  5. Will be adding her to my collection. It's interesting that the write up in the back of the box mentions The Brood. Hoping that's a hint of things to come though I wouldn't mind if they rerelease that Brood Queen BAF as a Deluxe.
  6. Madureira would've outranked Bachalo at the time AOA was published so I doubt Bachalo designed this character for Madureira to use on his book.
  7. I guess I'm in the minority but I absolutely loved the 616 Sabretooth that came in the Apocalypse BAF wave. Though I loved the AOA comics at the time and I'm a big Joe MAD! fan, seeing these characters in figure form now I think the AOA interpretations of Morph and Sabretooth specifically, I don't think they're very good designs. Morph just looks silly (which most likely was the point) but is so different from his TAS counterpart, and Sabes looks too simple. All that said, I'm happy to have these figures in my collection and looking forward to finally have an AOA shelf.
  8. I wonder how they can justify that price tag for a Toad release, but the cynic in me is saying they'll find a way lol Almost makes me want them to not include Toad in this Anniversary wave and just have him in a regular wave with a BAF part from Blob!
  9. All I remember them saying is that the next X-men wave isn't a themed wave. Granted this was said when X-Fans were hit with a back-to-back-to-back AOA Wave 1, HOX/POX Wave and AOA Wave 2 so it was more of a reassurance to X-Fans to not worry. With the seemingly positive reception of this wave, I wouldn't be surprised if they revisit AOA with a third wave. Probably not anytime soon but eventually.
  10. I've got Marvel Select The Watcher pre-ordered on Dorkside, so I obviously don't have him in-hand but I think he's just about perfect. If Hasbro decides to one-up that one, bring it, but if they decide to do Box I'd be for that as well.
  11. Corporate apparently sent out a panicked email telling their EB stores to remove those PulseCon exclusives. I don't think the shipment ever made out to West Coast by that date, much less them being displayed in the stores. Like you I've got no interest in the PulseCon figs (Venom is close to $50 taxes in, No thanks) but I'm really curious if we'll see the Excalibur and X-Force 3-Packs at EB Games a la the Hellfire Club and Alpha Flight Sets.
  12. Nice! Legion seems to be the only one that hasn't arrived at EBs. Weird how he's shipping separately in stores.
  13. Packing in a Psylocke head with a blue+yellow-suited Dr Cecilia Reyes won't work because of the different coloured necks!
  14. Give him oversized grandma glasses, paint the moustache off and Voilà, Senator Kelly 😄
  15. I haven't had trouble finding WM Exclusives here in the West Coast and some of them go on "Clearance" (the ridiculous .35 cents off clearance the clowns at Canadian Walmart sometimes have).
  16. No wonder I've seen comic art with Gyrich in that get-up. This is the look I want for the figure, yes complete with a flip phone (could go for green-tinted glasses):
  17. Huh...did not know Gyrich was an Avengers antagonist too. Learn new stuff everyday.
  18. Absolutely. I'm an X-fan but I picked up that Gwen Stacy figure and was very tempted to get JJ Jameson. I would love to get a Senator Kelly and Henry Gyrich
  19. Jim Lee Psylocke Jim Lee/Animated Series Storm (I hate that cape and she looks so fragile) Blue furry Beast needs a better head Still haven't found the definitive Iceman Toad, Avalanche, Blob, etc need updates.
  20. For the BAF, I only know Random from the Toybiz 5" figure but I guess he'll be a nice addition to the X-Factor shelf. Not terribly exciting. I'd rather get a new Blob or a Mojo. Or the aforementioned Mammomax 🐘
