Quite a few Magiks at Walgreens near Sunset Square in Bellingham, WA. Also saw a solo Mr. Fantastic. Still no luck finding Silver Surfer.

Not mad that Sauron won (I voted for Apocalypse) but he's definitely a figure hardly anyone would think Hasbro/Toybiz would be able to produce. Kudos Hasbro! Just wondering why Gladiator is a meh figure? I wasn't collecting then, but is it because most people have him? Was the SDCC exclusive easy to find?

RIP Stan. Is anyone here grabbing that "X-men Deadpool" from the newest wave and making him into any one of the Uncanny X-men 275 male characters? Forge is on the pipeline so I'm tempted to make him Banshee. Didn't the New Mutants kids also wear that costume? Cannonball? Perhaps TAS Morph, though I wouldn't know which head to use. Any suggestions?

The only hard to find for me so far (in Canada) is Silver Surfer. But I admit I lucked out finding Mr. Fantastic, The Thing and Magik when they first showed up at EB Games. Hasbro and/or EB Games made the mistake of ordering more Human Torches and Invisible Womans than the demand called for and so most stores here still have Johnnys from that first batch on clearance. Must explain why they're ordering figures in more limited quantities since. I'm also afraid it's going to be hard to find these X-men exclusives

I remember wanting that Toybiz Banshee with a whistle on his back/chest. I remember throwing a temper tantrum in the department store coz my mom wouldn't buy it. I was 10. :D Should Hasbro do a cloth cape or a more pliable plastic?

I don't have that one but yea I agree, Silk is a gorgeous head sculpt. That said (and I know you didn't suggest it) it would've been a bigger letdown if Hasbro just plopped that head on a female buck and called it Psylocke.

Ugh I hate that Forge head. I agree I think it looks like it's from a different universe than the other Marvel Legends, it's the other end of the spectrum from the very cartoony maskless Wolverine, which coincidentally also sucks. I would put the Riders series Black Widow in the Forge column.

Agreed. That's also the reason why we got *that* Magneto ahead of red + purple Mags. I happen to think Punk Storm is the best figure in that wave (along with Sabretooth...I personally am not as bothered with the smaller buck they used), but can't wait for TAS Storm. But more than any other Storm costume, I want her Giant-Sized X-men costume. Storm needs to take over from Wolverine as the character that gets a figure a wave!

As long as they don't require you to buy his hands separate from his arms, I'm in. My Blob is still without hands (Who am I kidding, I'm still in).

Was visiting Allen, TX in late August and visited (what felt like) 20 Walgreens in 2 days just to hunt Silver Surfer (picked up 2 Mr Fantastics in the process). I gave up on the third day and got stuck hanging out with family/friends (I was on vacation afterall) and later that day found out that the Walgreens website listed them earlier in the morning. Ugh. Might have to go the ebay route :(

Just discovered this forum yesterday (thanks to the contest they were running!) Spotted the AIM two-pack at the Gamestop Sunset Square in Bellingham, WA. First time I've seen them. Didn't know you guys were also spotting the Archangels there too! Spotted Thor and Black Widow from Infinity War wave at Fred Meyer in E Bakerview Rd in Bellingham. Canada, especially EB Games, usually gets these exclusive before you guys (picked up my The Thing 2 months ago). Missed out on Silver Surfer, and I'm still hunting for him. Ugh. Got my Magik from EB as well, though not my preferred costume. I'm mostly an X-men (see my avatar) collector (save for random cosmic characters and F4) so I was really banking on getting that Archangel on (or before) his street date October 1st. I even pre-ordered him and paid full price ($26.99 Cdn just to make sure). One month later and still a no-show. WTF is happening :(

Are we sure this is X-men themed vintage wave is still coming? IIRC this rumor came out before the characters for this year's vintage wave were announced (Vision, Hawkeye et al) and before we found out the X-men were "replacing" the Fantastic Four as Walgreens exclusives I get the feeling that they got their info mixed up and they thought the characters that were part of the X-men Walgreens exclusives were part of an X-men Vintage Wave. I'd love to be wrong though!

Hehe I won't, I promise. I really hope they get a good sculptor to make his head. Not a fan of the Forge nor Loki head from this 2019 coming out. For Banshee, they'll probably have his mouth open (come out with two heads please!) but I'm not a fan of the King Pin BAF's alternate open mouth head. Get the dude (or dudette) who made Xavier in hoverchair, or Rogue, or Dark Phoenix or Sabretooth or Hercules.

Yea he needs it. Even at a $10Cdn for a loose Banshee from that wave, I still can't quite get myself to purchase that figure.

My Top 10 (excluding figures that are on the pipeline from Hasbro based on conventions/shows and interviews. It's safe to say Storm from TAS is coming, though Strong Guy is less certain): (1) Jean Grey in her orange/blue duds (2) AOA Joe Mad! I can't quite pinpoint why that Beast isn't working for me. Is it the paint job? He looks unfinished. The sculpt? I'm sure this isn't the case but some parts (chest) look like they're smooth. The head sculpt? I wish the person doing that previously did the head sculpts for Sabretooth (except for the notches on the corners of his jaw), Punk Storm, Professor X and Blink did this sculpt. I also think the ToyBiz Beast from years back looks better than this Beast. Don't get me wrong, I'll still get this Beast as he's an essential X-men (even if I won't find the need to BAF *that* Caliban), but I wish he was better. Ditto on this wave's Jubilee (weak paint job) and Gambit (dat hair...). Too bad too. The last few X-men waves have been some of the strongest from MLs. :(
