  1. I wonder if they'll release a taller Tony Stark in the wave, given it's apparently just a cameo, but man, what I'd give for an in-scale RDJ figure, or even more Iron Man for the Hall of Armors that's still a work in progress...haha
I feel like there's a catch, I haven't been reading too much into her movie and what it entails and all the fan theories, but to make this one film and then probably be done, is it really just in it for the money?! Like I'm pretty sure it's gunna be dope, a great cast for sure, but is Black Widow really done? I wonder what door(s) this'll lead to!

  2. Kind of wished MK 50 came with more since it's the third time it's been repurposed, an updated Tony head would've been great since they did it for Peter, or even more nano accessories...might end up going to SH Figures.

I think people forget how almost skin-like nano tech is for MK 50 & 85 that I think SHF's scale fits okay with MLs and the ML MK 50 is a bit too bulky and maybe a hair too tall, plus SHF is plentiful in nano tech accessories..

But these 2packs are for the most part stupendous!

  3. I think the con exclusives Grandmaster and The Collector for this year's SDCC is because of the fact that Hasbro is trying to get the most bang for the buck in terms of R&D for creating a unique mold that might not be able to be modified to produce another figure because they probably aren't the going to be the most sought after figures to covet

  4. In Homecoming, I really didn't think Iron Man was needed, a mild attempt of a father-son bond to create a deeper sense of loss for the upcoming films as needed...but now that I miss Iron Man, can he take up at least 30% of the movie?! Not asking for much. Definitely not much hope for what remains of the MCU now that the OG Avengers are pretty much depleted, Far From Home better have a saving-grace credit scene to maintain the fandom.

  5. Low-key, I feel like they're doing a survey of sorts. How much was the original MCU Hulk that was released for the Avengers 1 movie line...was pricing marked higher than the other figures in the wave? Is that a $35 MSRP with or without tax? Never been to a Con of this sheer magnitude so maybe the mark up is to combat inflation of S&H fees (trade relations with China). So possibly a hike in MSRP for Legends? Who knows...

Aren't Diamond Selects adjusting prices as well?

Being honest, the net weight of this retro Hulk figure is at least 2 average sized figures combined, I think its just the fact that were used to figures his size broken down for BAF waves, moreover, people are still gunna buy, demand is still there so supply does what it pleases, just boycott and make a petition list to maintain prices or move on...or secret stash a few and wait for mark down prices like a normal person haha

  6. Yeah as far as sheer volume of the collection, for Iron Man, Comicave seems spot on, other than Hot Toys, I don't think any other license has done what they've done. But shelf space can be a deal breaker...haha

Were all Selects, the ones having articulation, 7in and under? Maybe its just me, but I could've sworn some towered over others in height.

I'm with you, I have retail shops, more on everyday products and not specified toy shops, within a few hours drive, but even when Toys R Us was still around, the selection, at least for me was always limited, be it I'd search for figures maybe twice a month back when I started collecting. I've fallen on having to order online which takes the fun out of adding to my collection. Thats why I've reduced my Legends collection to just MCU. Once I'm caught up with the Cinematic Universe, or close to it, I'll try displays and dioramas, enter contests online. Gotta up my game on accessories and props.

Actually, the cloth coat was the only thing I think ole' Remmy had going for him. Though I preferred the pleather version from the X-Legends boxed set.

I'm not all-in with ToyBiz, but sticking with the coat...no matter the pliability of the plastic on the new one, it just not as versatile as if it were an actual fabric. If you can finagle some wiring through the TB Gambit, dramatic poses a plenty. His stature wasn't ideal, but with many figures, unless they are vanilla posed like a police lineup, they work just fine. I mean I'll end up getting the Hasbro just to maintain uniformity, but...maybe it has some sentimental value being my second ML..I think. haha

My Pleather one started cracking. I think I'd want to customize it to get an actual fabric on the new one though.
