  1. Obscure guys like this are just great for those of us who really love the classic Marvel comics. Also, it avoids the oversaturation of Wolverine and Iron Man figures. This is gonna make the appearance of figures like, say, Silver Centurion, all the more sweeter.
  2. Yeah, see, he gets away with that sh1#%t+ because he has the monopoly! This is what happens when you have no competition and too much power.
  3. Blind stupidity, borne of desperation and foolishness. Hopefully there will be a silver lining where this is looked at, and this monopoly is broken up. Free market is a good thing, but if a company/ person has no competition and no one to answer to when they get all that power, they also will have the power to control that free market. Kiss freedom goodbye, 'cause we're left with just orders from the power brokers.
  4. Annihilus, the Living Death Who Walks Ultron Dracula (Tomb of Dracula, Gene Colan) The Super Adaptoid Nekra Death Bird Mandrill (what a freak show that would be)
  5. No. Like Prof X, Invisible Woman, Cyclops, Iron Man etc. it could just be an accessory. And of course they could always do Banshee without any effect at all. But please don't use this head...yikes.....
  6. The skull face is screen-printed on his mask, at least in this original version. So it wouldn't have sculpted parts. Maybe a hardened face plate would have those teeth sculpted as you suggest. When Kieron Dwyer created him, he had these freakin huge arms, which was captured pretty well in the SDCC 2013 exclusive figure. This figure looks a bit smaller, but in proportion to Cap looks about correct, I think. But yeah I don't get that Hyperion torso; they need to retire that thing.
  7. Goes without saying he would have a regular head and a screaming one. Still think a new effect, like the one I mentioned before, would work great. Daredevil body mold, cloth panels for flying like the material used for Storm's cape, alternate heads, maybe a new effect, and we're done. We know from their previous work how easy this would be for Hasbro.
  8. Reviewer doesn't like the gray instead of white on the outfit, and I agree. He says Marvel didn't send the correct info to Hasbro in time for production...not sure how he would know that unless they told him, and don't know why that would happen. But it doesn't matter since every version of the Red Guardian has been red and white, not gray. They chose to not include a helmeted head, which makes no sense but if, IF, they had pulled off a better David Harbour likeness, I might have been able to forgive....nah, not really. Add that with the limited head/elbow articulation, its just overall a pass for me. I'll stick with the comic version.
  9. Good news to hear there aren't any planned mass layoffs! Hope that doesn't change. But good OR bad news, this is the way we should get it: from the source. Not rumor, not conspiracy, not ramblings and arguments on some internet forum, where people post their unfounded (and often irrational) opinions as fact. Marvel Legends lives on! So now there's no excuse not to give me my translucent Invisible Woman, Equinox, Wonder Man and the Vision figures!
  10. When you see this kind of quality and effort go into a project, you gotta be thinking that Hasbro and other companies are probably at this person's door...either to hire them, or pay 'em off to stop doing customs, 'cause its making them look bad! Seriously, fantastic work. You should be proud!!
  11. MCU would probably have him in a rumpled olive drab fatigue jacket, tank top, jeans and boots and ONE razor hand, then call it a day....
  12. I too wanna see more Serpent Society members, especially Diamondback, Black Mamba, Death Adder and Anaconda ( and Marvel should really do some "untold tales" with the Falcon going up against some of these guys. Good chance to flesh out his history and theirs as well). Besides, I wanna see some stretchy arms for Anaconda.
  13. Odd how she can bend back a lot further than she can go forward. I like the deep cut elbow bend, which gets pretty close to a double jointed elbow. Overall though not a figure I need to pick up.
  14. Viper/ Madame Hydra Crimson Dynamo Deadly Nightshade Baron Blood Steel Serpent Shockwave Moonstone (original) Harpy BAF
  15. I'm glad they did this review, because I like the figure, but wasn't sold totally on getting it. But now that I see these articulation issues, I can pass. Fantastic ab crunch there, but cant raise his arms. Odd choice. Still, its a cool figure.
  16. Never had an interest in New Warriors, period. But worse for these characters is how dated theyre going to be very soon. Imagine a grownup hero called "Safespace"... sounds just as ridiculous as it does now. "Screentime" may be a hip and relevant name currently….but will it have any meaning in the years to come? Imagine if someone made a character back in the 70s called 8Track. Or..."Look out, criminals...beware the power of FLOPPY DISK!" See?
  17. MUTHERDUCK!! F%#@$*! Yeah....kinda saw it coming. Don't worry Natasha, we'll wait for you...
  18. Thunderbird is not Warpath. Those are two different characters. Warpath is in the wave youre thinking of.
