  1. Toad was included as part of a running anniversary promotion that's been running all year and we already knew he was coming. My condolences to anyone who thought the Warriors 3 would be shown off here in what was otherwise primarily a Spider-Man stream, but that was always going to be very unlikely. And I already said my piece on the latter point as well. I get disappointment about your fan favorite not getting made, but what makes less sense to me is specifically positioning something that's more high profile getting made instead as a sort of "How did this happen?!" when, again, there's a pretty simple common sense explanation for why it did. If we lived in the world where the Warriors 3 had some recent high profile pop culture relevancy then yeah, I might be swayed that them not being made while MJ and Need Leeds did as some sort of baffling move, but we don't so I don't. TBH if Hasbro was gonna make them then the iron would've been hottest around 2013 or so when the second Thor movie was out, but that was way before they were doing the current insane yearly Legends output they do now.
  2. Yes, that doesn't really change anything about what I said though. The Marvel Universe has thousands of characters. Everyone has someone out there pulling for them, even if they aren't crazy popular. I've been wanting the Gen X kids for years. I still do. I'm also mystified when a character from whatever the latest blockbuster release gets made ahead of them, since there's a very clear reason for why that happened. I confess the whole line of discussion is especially odd when this was clearly a Spider-Man themed Fan First stream for the most part, so I don't really know why there was any confusion about them focusing for the most part on Spider-Man characters and not Thor supporting ones.
  3. Because they're major characters in a popular movie series. Pretty open and shut case.
  4. Hmm? Ned isn't a huge need of mine, but he's still a prominent character from a highly popular series of films, as is MJ. There's nothing particularly baffling about the decision to make the two of them, especially since they're far from the first civilians made in the line.
  5. Peni or not, Spider-Man Noir looks pretty snazzy and I'm glad they're making him.
  6. Again, other than possibly the Tom Holland Spider-Man, I'm not sure what about that image is telling people these are repaints in a new box. That's a weird leap to make. Particularly when the MCU figures tend to get a lot of new sculpting anyway, if not entirely new bodies.
  7. I'm not sure where you're getting the idea these would be repaints. The last time they did a Tobey Maguire Spider-Man was in 2007, and even that was just a rerelease of an even older ToyBiz figure. A NWH figure is going to require a new sculpt. In fact, if these were just repaints, we'd likely be getting them sooner than 2023 (as they'd mentioned in the past some of the figures for the 80th anniversary promotion like Agent Anti-Venom and Punisher War Machine were primarily done because repaints are faster to get done than new sculpts).
  8. Dope. Hopefully Holland is in the costume from the end of the film. And hopefully Hasbro gets to the villains as well.
  9. Those truncheons definitely are not the baton they teased in the recent livestream, so that's still up in the air as to what they're going for. I still think something Daredevil related.
  10. I don't particularly care. I'd already gotten rid of my Ock so I've got no issue picking up another to get Silk.
  11. Cool. Was never a fan of the headsculpt on the prior Silk releases. And she's on the Shriek body this time!
  12. Might be a walking stick (NWH Matt Murdock? Dan did tease something DD related on his Twitter). Other thought is it's Mr. Knight.
