  1. I feel bad for people who care about Crimson Dynamo, but I'm not surprised. Man, what happened to the face print on the movie figures? Are these just rough prototypes?
  2. Sounds legit but it could also just be common sense guessing. Black Widow not being double packed in her own movie wave seems a bit odd.
  3. I started reading in the 2000s and literally the only reason I know who Spymaster is at all is because he showed up in Matt Fractions Invincible Iron Man at one point. That's not really a knock against the character either; Iron Man famously has a rogue's gallery that is considered kinda underwhelming. Paradoxically, despite the character being an A-lister now, his only hugely recognizable villains are probably Obadiah Stane and the Mandarin. Maybe Justin Hammer and Whiplash.
  4. It's a costing out thing. The folks at Hasbro aren't dumb. They're aware someone like Spymaster or literally any of the Serpent Society figures probably aren't gonna be in hot demand, which is why they usually use the bare minimum of new parts (usually just a new head, if that). That way the people who want to get them can do so and the company doesn't have to invest a lot of effort or sculptwork into a character they know isn't gonna be a huge mover. It's great for the people who want those characters and saves more on the tooling budget for other characters in the wave. Win-win, IMO.
  5. Yeah I see why people who only like classic designs/characters would be upset, but I'm digging most of it. The only figures I'm really not sweet on are Sue and Ben, and the latter is only because I already thought the Walgreens version was perfect.
  6. In the case of the Okoye wave I believe the issue was not only did the movie figures eat up most of the tooling budget, but they also had a very intricate brand new sculpt for Marvel NOW Iron Man as well.
  7. Zero interest in Spymaster (if they were going for a lesser known Iron Man villain in the Black Widow wave, Crimson Dynamo would've been better), but Super-Skrull looks awesome. He was in that Walgreens leaked list last year, and I was starting to wonder what ever happened to him.
  8. I'm glad I don't really care about Demogoblin, as I'd be annoyed at him being a BAF. Just Shang-Chi and Ends of Earth Spidey for me.
  9. 1. The Thing (Future Foundation) 2. Human Torch (Golden Age) 3. Mr. Fantastic (Future Foundation) 4. The Wizard 5. Spider-Man (Bombastic Bag-Man) 6. Crystal BAF: Lockjaw
  10. Ghost Rider with Hellcharger in Ultimate Riders.
  11. Guessing this will be part of next year's Avengers wave since there's no Avengers film.
