  1. Actors do that all the time, it just means there's an NDA or not all the details have been ironed out yet. There are rare exceptions, but if things are far enough along that Deadline and THR are reporting on it, it's usually legit.
  2. It's a great thing these are toys and not life-saving medication, the way some people talk about them. 😴 But I guess I'm one of those weirdos who sees a figure they don't like and is content realizing that's money saved.
  3. Most likely the mistake of some intern who (quite understandably) knows little to nothing about Thunderstrike. Poison Spider-Man from a few years ago had the same issue on his card; bio described a completely different character.
  4. All merchandise is supposed to be embargoed until the show is closer to release. Ryan and Dwight confirmed in the last stream they're making Marvel Legends for the show that are already done but had to be delayed because the show's release date was pushed back to early 2021. So the merch that's leaking out now is all stuff that was already shipped out but the stores aren't supposed to be putting out yet.
  5. If it's ultimately better for the environment, I can live with it, but my issue is that not being able to see the figure in the box will lead to a lot of the pain in the ass returns or desperate attempts at Ebay sales when someone gets a figure with messed up eyes or the like.
  6. They do that because those are the ones the retailers are the most interested in. The Fantastic Four certainly have a large number of characters that could be used, but as of now they're not as evergreen a franchise as those others. It's frankly impressive they had a full set of Walgreens exclusives followed by a full retail wave with no real ancillary media to support it (no movie, no TV show, no game, nadda).
  7. Nah, looking at them closely, it does appear there's new sculpting here that wasn't on the 75th one. The star especially. The shield Sam gets at the Endgame has some subtle differences from the one Steve was using (presumably as a result of it having been wrecked by Thanos and then rebuilt). There's also a sculpted ring on the new one not present on the 75th anniversary version.
  8. No, it means his involvement was just officially announced. There was also just a recent report about another actress who had been filming back in March, but nobody picked up on it until now. https://theronin.org/2020/10/17/confirmed-queen-of-the-south-and-jungle-cruise-actress-veronica-falcon-joins-the-cast-of-the-falcon-the-winter-soldier/ There are no sudden recasts going on lmao.
  9. Actually, in one of the livestreams (I believe the most recent one?) they indicated they'll likely be doing a staggered release by doing some more product later in time after spoiler-heavy episodes have aired. Similar to the way the Black Series Mandalorian stuff got a few early figures early on but stuff like Baby Yoda or Mando in his Beskar armor weren't released until much later to avoid spoilers. So it's entirely possible they just do some light initial offerings like the new Falcon and Winter Soldier designs and then save spoilery stuff for later in 2021.
  10. I think they're farther along than that. Ryan and Dwight said earlier in the year that the original plan had been to reveal the House of X wave at SDCC with a full display featuring the new figures and the Haslab Sentinels.
