  1. Love the pics! Damn, this thing looks great! Would love to see a Frost Giant produced that is just a tad smaller than Giant Man...that would be incredible!
  2. A second chance on something...it is definitely MEPHISTO. They have knocked out so many of my most wanted figures over the last few years, that I almost feel guilty asking for Classic Adam Warlock, Classic X-Men, Marvel Monsters, Mole Man, Mystique, Banshee, Mastermind, Marrow, Bishop (The Last X-Man version), Brood, a proper scale Daredevil, Deluxe Iceman with an Ice Slide, Valkyrie, Siff, Warriors Three, Enchantress, Beta Ray Bill (Classic), Gamora, Nebula, Swordsman, Classic New Mutants (Magik, Magma, Cypher, Kharma, Dani Moonstar, Wolfsbane, Sunspot, Cannonball, Warlock).
  3. Can't wait to have this thing in hand! Curious how Hasbro will measure success for Dragonman with it not officially being a Haslab, yet still being similar in many ways... Hoping they continue producing larger scale figures (a comic style Frost Giant is top of my list).
  4. I suspected Hasbro was going to get me to buy characters I already own due to the addition of pinless tech, but I am glad that it is more than that with Cap (love the additional heads and broken shield), and Wolverine (both head sculpts are fantastic, and it is a different color scheme). Wish the Ironman was the gold and darker red like the 80th Anniversary version, but I will still pick it up because of the pinless tech. Titania and Beyonder are damn good additions to the line. They knocked it out of the park with this Secret Wars release. And NIGHTCRAWLER!!!! Damn good reveals!
  5. I have Ketch in hand, and I I only think he is small by comparison to the previous Ghost Rider figs that were too tall. And even if you do think the fig is too small for your taste, you can't even tell when he is on a bike. But yeah, I get the comment about him not being the best gauge for how big Blackheart is.
  6. My collection once included every Toybiz Marvel Legends figure (and most of the Spiderman and X-Men Legends too). Toy design improved so much that Hasbro was able to get me to turn my entire collection, and now with pinless tech and computer printing, they still have me replacing figures. Pretty happy with my collection though and with Adam Warlock I am that much closer to having all the figures I want. Now if we could just get an updated original X-Men set, Marvel Monsters, comic Daredevil (on the correct sized buck), Valkyrie, Hela, Warriors Three, and New Mutants, my collection will be complete!
  7. Some absolutely must-haves (Adam Warlock, Mandarin, Banshee, Shuma Gorath, Chameleon), and some great upgrades (Mystique, Psylocke/Thanos, Captain America, Juggernaut, Warpath, Archangel, Black Cat). 2025 is looking like another great year.
  8. The more I look at it I am thinking I will have to kit bash this thing into the version I want (swap the head with one of the previous versions, and swap out the gloves and boots with the new Nick Fury boots and gloves).
  9. Hyperion body was awful for sure, but Punisher was on the Grim Reaper body. I like this new one a lot, but it will be interesting to see how he compares to the Grim Reaper version in terms of scale. I prefer the design with the white boots and gloves...kinda wish they would have done him on the latest Nick Fury body from the three pack, but we'll see how it turns out.
  10. In my opinion there are about 25 absolute must-have's for any Legends collection, and that includes Doctor Strange. I like the paint apps and cape best on this version of Strange, but I would have preferred a non-possessed head. Hopefully the previous version can be swapped and still look okay against the lighter colored neck. And the Wong figure is fantastic.
  11. There are films that are objectively good and some that are objectively bad, but I think nowadays a lot of films fall in the middle and people often confuse good with delivering exactly what they expected, or wanted to be done. I liked Deadpool and Wolverine a lot. They did some things I didn't anticipate, and didn't do some things I fully expected, but that is the fun of it all - not knowing where the film will take you. As someone who worked in a literary department, as a story editor for an Oscar winning producer, and as a freelance reader, I have read, synopsized and evaluated a ton of scripts, and I loved it. Sometimes my expectation would be exceeded, sometimes they wouldn't, but I never thought a film or show was bad just because they don't do what I imagined, or anticipated they would do. I recall people losing their minds over the finale of Game of Thrones, but the ending was more than competent, just maybe not exactly what you imagined or expected, and that is okay. If you think everything out there is bad, then study story craft and create your own material. Hopefully you will write something brilliant.
  12. Could it be more Deadpool and Wolverine figures that they didn't want to reveal before the film opened?
  13. Very interested to see where this goes. I bought the Sentinel, Galactus, and Giant Man, so I had no issue with the Haslab model, but I feel like this change in strategy could open up a lot more possibilities for characters (or even teams) that might not have been right for a Haslab, or quite right for straight retail. I have heard a few people suggest Team Boxed Sets like Generation X, New Mutants, Marvel Monsters, Original X-Men, so again, it will be interesting to see what comes of this. If there is a chance for a large character, I hope they consider a good sized Frost Giant with multiple heads so you could army build them.
  14. With the movie opening today I didn't expect them to reveal the Movie Legends...just the characters we know are in the movie.
