  1. SAME! A well done Daredevil has been in my top 20 for quite sometime (the Bucky Cap version just didn't quite cut it). Now we need classic versions of Powerman and Iron Fist! All in all, this was a pretty damn impressive show. Glad Hasbro is continuing to use Paul Harding for a lot of their head sculpts.
  2. Plenty here to cleanse the palette of a few recent Hasbro mishaps. Impressed by these offerings.
  3. Atlantis I sometimes think you are too hard on Hasbro, but I have to say I am starting to come over to your way of thinking. Some of the things Hasbro has been doing are just such head scratchers, and other times they feel like Hasbro knows what they are doing and it isn't in our best interest. I have been collecting Legends since Wave 1 of the Toybiz days, and I have turned my entire collection with all of Hasbro's offerings, but I don't need to keep purchasing if they can't give us great offerings at great prices (My collection will still look great, and while there are plenty of characters I would still love to have, there are really only about 20 to 30 absolute must haves that I couldn't say no to). Have you ever thought about the things that changed during Covid? Bags at a store were once a cost the company saw as a necessary supply expense, but during Covid they realized they could extend the cost to the consumer (and at the time it was fair because of their reduced sales, but they still charge now even though sales have recovered). Restaurants saw spikes in the cost of supplies (because supply chains got weird, so to some degree it made sense), but those costs have yet to come back down, and the cost of our meals were impacted. Thinking about how Hasbro has managed their business during all of this. Where was it necessary to make changes, and where have they taken advantage of the opportunity to charge more, while their costs may not have increased, and their sales might not have declined? Long story endless, I canceled my Mojo preorder, and I will pass on the Haslab unless they care enough to adjust the campaign, which I doubt they will.
  4. Ya know, they probably are not very keen on changing the plan midstream as they wouldn’t want to set a precedent, but they could probably save this by saying once they hit the 9000 goal for production Mephisto is earned/added (9000 being the tier goal), civilian Robbie at 12000, and Blackheart at 14000. It is not a good look to have this fail, so they should do what they need to in order to make this pull through. Even a win for Hasbro with a little less profit is better than a fail.
  5. As others have said, the price tag is only an issue because it isn’t a slam dunk project (Most didn’t bat an eye over the price of the last two projects because they were absolute must haves, and this car isn’t that). Including Mephisto to get this across the finish line is just shitty, and doesn’t honor loyal collectors who really wanted him and don’t need or want the car (or might not have the funds for such a big purchase). Many who back this will probably do so begrudgingly. Curious what other ideas for projects they have toyed with. Why not a $200 Project? Say a collection of Skrull versions of characters (like a ten pack)? Or a whole team in one shot (Gen X, Marauders, Starjammers, New Mutants)…or two Ghost Riders on bikes (which I wish this one would have been).
  6. Just snagged one of these in Wales! This thing is actually quite impressive in person (great paint detail on the heads).
  7. I think a GR Haslab was a great idea, but given it is the 50th anniversary and Robbie is relatively new, it would have been a more interesting offering if Robbie was a part of the project along with additional more popular riders with their bikes (yeah, I know they did a bike a couple years ago, but that was not really one of the iconic hell cycle designs - updated versions of the Toybiz hell cycles would have been perfect). This will probably get funded and I will probably still back it, but I think it could have been a better offering, but maybe the tier unlocks will reveal that it is.
  8. Spot on! I'm not pulling the trigger until I know the tiers. I don't need Robbie and the Car (even though they are exceptionally done), but if they have enough characters on my must have list it will tempt me enough to go for it. Betting many are thinking the same.
  9. Well put! I have purchased both the Sentinel and Galactus, and while I think this thing is over priced by at least $100, it is beautifully done, and I am pretty confident the tier add-ons are going to make many buy this damn thing (if Mephisto and Blackheart are included it is a no brainer, but damn I sure wish they would surprise us with another bike and rider)!.
  10. Abso-freaking-lutely! Still surprised Legends haven't released Skrull versions of characters...I mean as much as they love rereleasing characters with very little changes, this would be a no brainer.
  11. Trip to the UK next week, so hoping I will find this there rather than having to rely on Walgreens! 🙂
