  1. I have been collecting Legends since the very beginning, and this wave recaptures the excitement of the old random Toybiz waves, and I love it. There will always be things we wish were different, but I think Hasbro gets it right way more often than they don’t. Hope to see a classic Adam Warlock, Valkyrie, Original X-Men, and Marvel Monsters soon.
  2. All right, I’m not one who typically gripes about Hasbro (I think they get it right more often than they don’t) but this is just insulting to put out another Daredevil on the wrong buck. As much as I like the Hydro Man, the Daredevil miss will make me pass on this one.
  3. Yeah, we'll see what it looks like in hand. Thank God they didn't use the regular suit pants legs...though I can't tell if these are new though, or just reused/modified Happy Hogan legs. Again, need to see it in hand.
  4. Hasbro has been ridiculously consistent about Wolverine scale since the Juggernaut wave version, and I think this one continues that trend. The arms, shoulders, and torso look to either be the same as the Old Man Logan figure, or quite similar. The feet are not typical suited figure feet (they are bigger and thicker) and the legs look close to what I would expect based on the size of the other Wolverine figures (I think they are new). The coat might be a bit wide at the bottom, but all in all, I think it looks great. We'll see how it looks in hand.
  5. Not all of these are must haves for me, but this is a damn impressive list with many characters we have been asking for. An updated Iron Fist is a must have (guessing it will be the big collared version and he will come with a redecoed Powerman with multiple head sculpts), any version of Ghost Rider is welcomed, Man-Thing needed a better release than the Netflix wave, people have begged for Warbird, and Destiny for what seems like forever, Crossbones was done dirty with the horrible Hyperion buck (guessing this one will probably be on the Hercules buck), and Skaar, Hulkbuster, and Odin (guessing this one will be comic, since we just got an MCU version not too long ago) will be great to see. It feels like Venom is released as much as Wolverine, but I am sure there are plenty of folks who want more of him. Curious how the other characters will turn out, and if the Cap sets will be MCU or Comic (would love to finally see an Isaiah Bradley). Along with the upcoming Vision from the Void BAF wave, Wolverine sets (finally a proper Sabretooth), deluxe Angel, Haslab Giant-Man, and classic Wasp, this is looking like a strong year for Legends. Fingers crossed we get a Marvel Monsters Box set for Halloween, and an Original X-Men Team Box set for Christmas!
  6. Several solid offerings, but I am most excited about the Shield 3 Pack (We need an updated Fury and Dugan).
  7. I could go on forever about this. I agree, I have enjoyed the post Endgame stuff too and feel people are being way too hard on Marvel. Sure, there have been stinkers (Multiverse of Madness, Love and Thunder, Quantumania), but even the worst Marvel project is a triumph considering the interconnectedness to such a massive universe of films (nothing has ever been done at such a scale in cinema). All that being said, I wish Feige and team would go back and review earlier projects to get an idea of where they came from. I watched Ironman 1 over the holidays and it has an energy about it that would be great to see them recapture...you could tell they were hungry and had something to prove. Love to see them hungry again, but I think they are going to blow us away with Deadpool 3 and I think they are going to use that to right the ship in many ways. Hope I'm right.
  8. Felt the same about Indy. Definitely had flaws, but it was still a lot of fun.
  9. Totally agree about the wings...and about Iceman! An Original X-Men Boxed Set is such a no-brainer.
  10. When are we going to get a new Original X-Men Boxed Set? I would pass on this Angel if I knew that set was coming. The recent Sandman figure gives an idea of what a proper Original Iceman could look too! I'm tired of beating this dead horse - c'mon, Hasbro!
  11. I don’t care if they recast Kang or rewrite it with Doom - I just want it to be great. When Marvel started they were hungry and it showed in their content. I think they got so used to being wildly successful that they got cocky and started thinking they couldn’t lose. Eternals wasn’t bad, but it was a departure from what audiences expected, and they needed something pretty significant to keep audiences engaged following Endgame. Black Widow was more of the same. No Way Home hit the mark (and brilliantly leveraged nostalgia), several of the Disney+ shows did as well, and Wakanda was pretty solid (and impressive given what they had to work around), but Multiverse of Madness was dreadful, Love and Thunder was wildly disappointing (especially after the triumph of Ragnarok), Quantumania was forgettable, and Marvels was just fine. They need to get hungry again and put out something of uncompromising quality, regardless of whether they recast or pivot (or do a combo). I want to be excited about Marvel films again and prove those who say the genre is dead wrong.
  12. I have been asking for that for years, and I feel pretty confident they will do it soon.
  13. Thought the same about the Psylocke 2 pack too, but the Wolverine head sculpts are so good though!
  14. That Sabretooth is perfect - Better than I could have asked for (and the Logan looks great too). The Brood Wolverine/Lilandra Pack - didn't see that coming, and I just mentioned the other day that it would be cool to see a deluxe Wolverine with Brood Replacement parts. The Hulk/Patch Pack is incredible too. Damn good reveals!
