  1. For the time it came out, Blob was amazing, but this one is just brilliant. The improvements with the hip joints, hands, and feet were absolutely necessary improvements, but honestly, I think they improved every aspect of the previous version. And totally agree with your suggestion about the redos.
  2. On my 'not a chance in hell, but damn it sure would be cool list' would be a Frost Giant. On my 'Could be, and sure would be cool list' would be a Comic Version of Giant Man.
  3. Solid feedback, and LOVE your suggested waves!!! Maybe we should all start posting our thoughts on complete waves to maybe help them along! Here goes mine (if I could do this together in 20 minutes, Hasbro can too): Thor VOLSTAGG BAF Wave with Hogun, Fandral, Valkyrie, Beta Ray Bill, Heal, Odin, Siff Guardians CHARLIE BAF Wave with classic version of Moondragon, Adam Warlock, Martinez, Nikki, Vance, Kree, Drax Ghost Rider BLACKHEART BAF Wave with Mephisto, Ghost Rider, Werewolf by Night, Frankenstein, Zombie, Dracula, Blackout X-men Alpha Flight BOX BAF Wave with Karma (Classic New Mutants costume), Lady Mastermind (Marauders), Nightcrawler (AOA), Beast (Classic Costume), Gaia (Gen X), Bishop (the Last X-Man costume), Wade Cole (Reavers) X-Men HARPOON BAF Wave with Patch Wolverine, Marine (Alpha Flight), Magik (Classic New Mutants costume), Wolfsbane (Uncanny X-Force), Hellion (Gen X), Macon (Reavers), Nightcrawler (Uncanny X'Force) X-Men SHADOW KING BAF Wave with Angel (Classic Costume), Deathbird, Talisman (Alpha Flight), Sunspot (Classic New Mutants Costume), Storm (AOA), Raza (Starjammers), Mimic (X-Men) X-Men "Ice Slide" BAF Wave with Iceman (Classic Costume), Marrow (X-Men), Magma (Classic New Mutants Costume), Warpath (Uncanny X-Force), Reese (Reavers), Hepzibah (Starjammers), Pixie (Gen X) X-Men MONDO BAF Wave with Cannonball (Classic New Mutants costume), Mastermind (X-Men), Feral (X-Force), Cypher (Classic New Mutants Costume), Scalphunter (Marauders), Copycat (Starjammers), Malice (Marauders) X-Force GRIZZLY BAF Wave with Cyclops (Classic Costume), Penance (Gen X), Dakken (X-Men), Elixir (Uncanny X-Force), Riptide (Marauders), Prism (Marauders), Wolfsbane (Classic New Mutants Costume) Gen X STATURE BAF Wave with X-23 (Gen X), Donald Pierce (Reavers), Mirage (Classic New Mutants Costume), Fabian Cortez (X-Men), Archangel (Uncanny X-Force), Marvel Girl (Classic Costume), Husk (Gen X) X-Men BROOD BAF Wave with Angel (AOA), Banshee (First Appearance), Skin (Gen X), Sync (Gen X), Jubilee (Gen X), Archlight (Marauders), Vanisher (Uncanny X-Force)
  4. Always enjoy your perspective, so here is a question: what do you think would happen to the legends line if they completed the teams? I think Hasbro knows this is what keeps us connected to the hobby - if we had completed teams we were happy with, would we collect new versions of characters, or be as engaged? I would (I will always replace a figure with a better version/costume/buck), but I wonder if Hasbro fears people would stop collecting if they got all the specific teams they wanted. Thoughts?
  5. Three of my Top Ten Must-Haves (Blob, Ronan, and Yondu) in one year! Been a while since that happened. Thank you Hasbro!
  6. I still feel like Hasbro gets more right than they get wrong, but I agree there are some weird things they have gotten wrong that would have been easy to get right had they just been been more respectful of the needs of their base. I only have about 25 characters that are absolute must-haves, so walking away from the hobby would not be too hard to do. Sad to have to think about that though (been collecting for 25 years now).
  7. I think folks also need to consider that what is a peg warmer near them isn't necessarily a peg warmer everywhere. In the UK I often find an over abundance of figures I could never find in the US, and the same goes for state to state over here.
  8. Well put! I would prefer targeted waves (I loved getting two waves of AOA, and I think the upcoming X-Men 3 packs are a great idea), but I would also love welcome mixed waves as long as they keep MCU and Comic separate, and they focus the Comic waves on completing multiple teams (X-Force, New Mutants, Alpha Flight, Excalibur, Reavers, Starjammers, Marauders, Gen X) . I think Ch'od is actually a solid release (happy to get him as a BAF, but would have bought him as a single packed figure too). The reality is no matter what Hasbro does, we will always see what they could have done better or differently, because we are all so particular about our own collections.
  9. I think this character looks great! Expecting a new sculpt is unrealistic while the Abomination buck is nearly identical to what would be needed for the character. Happy to have a re-used buck to get the character in hand.
  10. Yeah, Ronan is my most anticipated figure of 2023 too, followed by Blob! I forgot about the Excalibur set (I have a connection in the UK, so I get some sets early, and I thought that was one of them). Firelord almost made my list too (that one was much better than I expected)!
  11. Walmart Classic Doctor Strange, 20th Cap, Comic Gorr, Maggot, Comic Black Panther, Retro Lizard, Cell Shaded Cyclops, Galactus, Mojo, Bonebreaker.
  12. Great shot, as usual! One 12 Collective, right? Preordered a Bishop Last X-Man to Kitbash a Marvel Legends version, and it has been on preorder for over a year and a half, which I still can't believe.
