  1. I hear ya! But, if the Sentinel is as good as the sneak peek at the leg suggests it might be, I don't think they will have any trouble moving them. While I would only by one, I would pay up to $300 for something like that in my collection, and I think many people would (people buy $500 Lego Millennium Falcon's, they would buy a bad ass Sentinel).
  2. I have zero interest in the symbiotes, but I love the fact that people who really want them get to check them off of their must have lists. I still can't believe how many figures on my "must have" list have been produced in the last 3 years. I never thought we would see an Age of Apocalypse Wave... never thought we would see anyone from the Hellfire Club... there is so much to celebrate, even if we all haven't gotten exactly what we want yet. And the Retro Wave - this has been such a cool way to get great versions of characters out to collectors without having to collect an entire wave. I hope we get news on more within this sub-line (hoping we get classic versions of Doctors Strange, Power Man, Ironfist, Ultron, Drax, Ronan).
  3. I thought the same thing about consistency in mold (Cyclops, and recent Wolverines and Hulks did this too, and it looks great)... and about surprise over getting two Sunfires (and 4 Storms, 2 Colossus, 2 Juggernauts, 6 Cyclops, 3 Iceman, 9 or 10 Wolverines, 2 Cables, 2 Polaris, 2 Havoks, 8 or 10 Hulks, 2 Fantastic Four teams, 2 Scarlett Witches, 2 Magnetos, and I am sure many other duplicates I haven't listed) before a Lady Deathstrike. Now I love damn near every figure I listed above, but there are a good 20 to 50 characters who are in desperate need of being produced, or re-done, and Lady Deathstrike is easily top 10 for me!
  4. OH, you don't know what you are missing - this is such an incredible improvement over the previous version...very much worth purchasing. This entire wave is fantastic and looks great on the shelf with Apocalypse, Cable, Archangel, Blink, and Caliban. Can't wait to see wave two!
  5. I think it scales quite well! I would have preferred a classic costume, but I honestly love the scale!
  6. Ok, remove shoulder pads, paint feet and shoulders blue, change the belt, add fringe to the upper arms, alter hair, and custom Thunderbird is complete!!! Already ordered two!
  7. You nailed it Leokearon! I was thinking they would do this in the retro style too with no BAF (I understand it will be a BAF wave though), and your selections are great! I just made a custom Sabretooth on the Omega Red buck and it is PERFECT (hope the AOA uses that buck too). I actually liked the Rogue paint but I am always up for an improvement. Banshee would be a great addition too, and how about multiple heads for each character (a SKRULL, and specific artists like Bachalo, Madureira, or Ramos).
  8. I honestly had no problems with the original buck (just the costume choice), but MAN, this buck is so much better!!! I hope they continuing using this buck as well as the Hercules buck and the Omega Red Buck, which it looks like they are using on Warpath, and I hope they will use for the AOA Sabretooth (I already used one for a Classic Sabretooth and it looks fantastic)!
  9. TOTALLY AGREE! I have been floating the idea of Skrull versions, and or special artist versions (Bachalo, Ramos, Madureira) for what seems like forever!
  10. I'm usually annoyed by Hasbro putting out so many versions of characters (Wolverine, Cap, Ironman, Spiderman to name a few) before we get characters that haven't been done yet, but I have to say, that Pirate Deadpool looks amazing! And I don't even care about Shiklah, but it is great to see them putting out odd characters like this, and it looks like she is done quite well. Warpath looks great, though I wish they included a variant head and belt so he could double as the First Appearance version. Continuing the Deadpool trend, this is an odd and great wave! Surprised we haven't gotten a Skrull Deadpool yet!
  11. The hair was really fun to do! I started with the hair of a Jean Grey (Green Version from a couple years ago) that I glued to the back of the head upside down...then I just started cutting pieces of hair from other figures and just glued it on bit by bit in the front and sides...I really like how it turned out.
  12. Thanks! Dani's hair was a super simple swap - X-force X-23's hair, with the red wrapped pony tails glued on!
