  1. I really enjoyed the first one. I think I may have even seen it twice. Watching it a third time for the new scenes doesn't sound like a bad idea.. but still on the fence about it, with money getting tight around the holiday season. Guess if I can find a friend who hasn't seen the second one yet, that may be enough of an incentive for me to go out there and watch it again.
  2. Been so hyped for this movie ever since we saw the first trailer. I was going to wait to see it later on with my comic buddy that moved several cities away, but I couldn't wait and just got opening night tickets for this last night. Luckily, my friend was cool with watching it separately, and we will be enjoying Welcome to Marwen when I go visit. Win/Win.
  3. Not familiar with any of the Spider-Women outside of Spider-Gwen, but out of the Spider-people, I thought it was just Peter that had been sexually abused . But I think #MeToo only applies to women, so while Peter couldn't have been part of that specific movement, his Earth-1610 Spider-Woman clone would technically qualify.. right?
  4. I actually prefer the 6" version. This one has no curves at all. Her torso is just one big rectangle..
  5. Marvel Legends have spoiled me in terms of the level of articulation I expect from figures. I'll have to pass on this one, unfortunately.
  6. The 4K Cover looks amazing! I also avoided watching it in theaters due to the strong criticisms and my own perceptions of the footage I'd seen, despite my love for Venom. But renting this certainly sounds doable.
  7. Rare for me, but I'll have to say that I prefer the marvel legends version. Still looks pretty great though!
  8. I didn't think Daredevil would get the axe. Pretty disappointed.. And not at all interested in subscribing to yet another streaming service. Is Piratebay still a thing?
  9. Still not sure how I feel about this show. Some good parts, but not enough to get me all that invested in any of the characters or the story.
  10. This was my favorite look for him in the show, and I'd been wanting a figure release of it for a while. But I've never really liked cloth mixed with plastic parts for whatever reason, so this one does leave me a little disappointed. Especially because the hood is not cloth like the rest of the outfit.
  11. Looks amazing, though I'm still not too hyped for the movie. Not sure why, might be because I'm pretty unfamiliar with this character.
  12. Venom is one of my favorite marvel characters, and the original release was my first action figure purchase. I really like the quality, but the articulation, particularly in the legs, really left me feeling pretty disappointed. The new head sculpts are interesting, and I love having variety, but it being the same body sculpt keeps me from wanting it.
  13. Hard pass on the 6 arm SpiderMan. Looks too awkward for me, and I agree with the critiques others have made. But I'm glad some people like him at least. If I do end up getting him, it would just be just for collection purposes, never to display.
  14. I'm going to have to agree with the 'Underwhelming Loki crowd'. The latest Namor's fish-scale bikini really set the bar for the level of fine detailing I want in future Legends.
  15. Professor X will be my first 'marvel legends vehicle' purchase. I just want it to go on pre-order already so I don't have to stress about the possibility of not getting my hands on one. It's definitely going to sell out fast.
  16. I don't think the visible eyes head option is necessary, but aside from that.. damnnn. that is one good looking Tchala
  17. Been wanting to get an Iron Man figure, just never figured out which one I'd want. I like that this one seems to offer a bit more than the rest, and the marvel legends comparison says a lot. if it had come with a Tony Stark Head, this one would have been my immediate choice.
  18. This one is definitely going to be a Must Have for me. Doesn't fit into any of the teams I'm working on collecting but.. I'm sure I can find a suitable Western Logan to pair him up with. Can't wait!
  19. I have yet to own a figure that uses cloth materials, aside from a Wolverine that has a fake leather jacket(which I'm afraid to pose around much cause it looks like it could crack and peel easily). I think for this specific figure, real cloth definitely adds a 'homemade' feel to it, which is perfect.
  20. I was fortunate to have bought a Spider Gwen when it was still out, but I hadn't become a full-on collector at the time. Never did get a Miles figure, and he looks amazing. I am excited for this two pack because I'd love to get him at retail value, but also because I'm super excited for the upcoming movie. This version of his suit looks really cool to me, though not necessarily better or worse. I'm VERY disappointed that the headsculpts weren't made to match the movie's characters, I feel that is a huge oversight/laziness. Having a second Gwen isn't terrible either, especially if I ever decide to try customizing figures.
