Hasbro to bring back window packaging in 2024!
TheMarvelMan replied to toynewman's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
The ecosystems in which we live are doomed. But that's OK! At least I can enjoy my MIB action figures! I am old and have no children or grandchildren who have to try to survive in the trash heap that I am leaving for them to endure. A win for me!! -
Neither. I have both of those. And although I'd never turn down a superior, updated version of either, I would much rather see something that I don't have. (Ya know, I prefer Frog-Man and Egghead over a 15th Wolverine.) And so, my "Avengers" vote is for a Quinjet!! I just can't decide whether I'd prefer an MU version or an MCU version.

Yippee!! Another Stan Lee fig for my shrine!! -
Gee, just one day ago, this website claimed that "Shang-Chi" was a bust and a financial failure. Which is it? An abject failure, or a film that broke a 14-year-old Labor Day record? I'm so confused! {Actually, I'm not. i'm joking. I fully comprehend the difference between a bust and a success. I hope everyone who reads these posts is equally discerning.)

S.H. Figuarts figs are so attractive and so screen-accurate (right down to Black Widow's frown lines!), but they are so fragile! I have a few, and each time I try to pose them, the leg falls off or the arm falls off or both. Yes, they snap right back on again, but they are just too annoying to own (especially for the price that is well above of the more-sturdy Legends figs).

Marvel Legends X-Men Callisto Figure Revealed
TheMarvelMan replied to JayC's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
I love when Hasbro produces new figs (rather than the 117th Spidey or Wolvie fig)! Cyber is not "A List," but it's his first time in plastic, so I am all over it! -

Walgreens is THE WORST. I urge Hasbro to stop sending them exclusive figures. Yesterday, an exclusive two-pack dropped at Target, so I easily pre-ordered it. And an exclusive two-pack dropped at Amazon, so I easily ordered it. The past Walgreens exclusives, and presumably these upcoming figures? Nearly impossible to order online and an absurd chore to find in a store. Hasbro, please stop pretending that Walgreens is able to handle exclusive Legends; they are not. -
I wonder... with the movie being postponed, will Hasbro choose to delay the release of this wave?

I don't collect Funko Pops, but man oh man is this assortment tempting me big time! I have Octo-Spidey in 5" from Toy Biz back in the day, and I have a custom Bag-Man that I created from a 5" Toy Biz Mr. Fantastic and a paper bag...but they are inadequate (are you listening to me, Hasbro?!). While I wait for Marvel Legends versions of these figs...I may have to hunt down these Pops!

Hello, JC! Thanks for yet another honest, fair and comprehensive review of Marvel Legends figures! All of us out here in the "internet ether" appreciate you more than you know! I apologize for the (potential) inappropriateness of my question here, but I am too ignorant to PM you directly. And, perhaps, my question will interest other collectors of Marvel Legends figures. My question concerns stands for six-inch Marvel Legends action figures. I've tried a few...and none are acceptable. The peg is always too large or too small. I've noticed that Hasbro simply uses a hot glue gun when they display their figures at conventions. This, obviously, is unacceptable to collectors. Thus, my question: are you aware of a source for stands that work perfectly for most six-inch Marvel Legends figures? In any event, thanks again for another terrific review!
