  1. WOW!! OMG!!! What a great idea!!! And fantastic concept that was executed perfectly!! You're a champ!
  2. Ryan, I've been a fan of yours since the days of Wizard magazine. When you post something for the planet to view, please try to remember to comb your mustache!
  3. Thank you, Hasbro! I wish more companies were more like you (i.e., more concerned about the environment than their bottom line). Bravo!
  4. I agree 100%!! Thank you, Hasbro!! I need two, with and without his helmet.
  5. I don't collect Funko Pops, but man oh man is this assortment tempting me big time! I have Octo-Spidey in 5" from Toy Biz back in the day, and I have a custom Bag-Man that I created from a 5" Toy Biz Mr. Fantastic and a paper bag...but they are inadequate (are you listening to me, Hasbro?!). While I wait for Marvel Legends versions of these figs...I may have to hunt down these Pops!
  6. For my money, the winner is...both! As JayC pointed out, both are quite comic accurate (for their time). Although I may have a preference for the classic look vs. the modern look, this has nothing to do with the figures. They are both worthy (pun intended!) additions to my collection!
  7. Hello, JC! Thanks for yet another honest, fair and comprehensive review of Marvel Legends figures! All of us out here in the "internet ether" appreciate you more than you know! I apologize for the (potential) inappropriateness of my question here, but I am too ignorant to PM you directly. And, perhaps, my question will interest other collectors of Marvel Legends figures. My question concerns stands for six-inch Marvel Legends action figures. I've tried a few...and none are acceptable. The peg is always too large or too small. I've noticed that Hasbro simply uses a hot glue gun when they display their figures at conventions. This, obviously, is unacceptable to collectors. Thus, my question: are you aware of a source for stands that work perfectly for most six-inch Marvel Legends figures? In any event, thanks again for another terrific review!
  8. To quote Sgt. Fury: "Wah-hooo!" I can finally replace my 5-inch, ToyBiz figure of Silver Samurai!! I just got a notice from BBTS that my preorder has arrived, so I'll have this wave in my hands in a week or so! Can't wait!
  9. To reiterate previous comments, terrific running effect! And that pose must be another effect also, right? I can't believe that you were able to balance the fig in that pose! Nice job!
  10. Thanks for the terrific review! I've preordered through BBTS and now I'm filled with even more anticipation!
  11. You are so creative! This is kit bashing at its best! I need to hire you to come to my home to pose my figs!
  12. Simply beautiful. My birthday is coming up. Hint, hint. Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?
  13. I can't decide. Is this a new low...or a new high for these daily photos?!? LOL!!!
  14. One more thing! You show an MCU Cap figure holding mjolnir. I have a couple of Marvel Legends Cap figs from Civil War, and his hands are always in a closed fist. Where did you get that open hand for Cap that can hold the hammer?
  15. Fantastic list, JC (and others)! Yup, I'll take them all, thank you very much! Hey, JC, which Black Widow buck did you use for that photo? You mention that "the outfit she wears is very similar to the Infinity War outfit," but I don't recall her in that outfit. Please steer me in the right direction!
  16. I have a very similar story. I ordered it as soon as it popped up online (probably via a "heads up" post on this fine website!), and I also was told that it would ship/arrive on April 2. One week after that date and nothing. Those ship dates are always completely accurate, so although I was a bit disappointed, I wasn't concerned that it wasn't coming at all. Well, now I am. I guess I'll go check my credit card to see if I was charged for it. Bummer.
  17. Perfect!! Perfect!! Perfect!! Thanks for the great laugh!!!
  18. Wow! These shots of the day just keep getting better and better! Every 2-3 days I find myself stating that "This is the best photo so far!"...and here I go again. This is the best photo so far! Now I may be biased because Spidey is my favorite hero, and Doc Ock is my favorite villain...but the scene and setting is just great! Doc Ock robbing a bank vault! This is Silver Age Gold!!
  19. Well played. You got me! I will be forwarding the bill from my cardiologist directly to you. And now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go change my pants...
  20. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I just LOVE these Photos of the Day! But this is the first one that made me laugh and laugh and laugh!! Thanks for that!! And great photo!
  21. I feel your pain, Memocromatico! Availability and access is never egalitarian. I really, really want these two figures as well. I hope you find them!
