  1. It's not even that. They want to look like they're doing something environmentally conscious, but the truth is that the plastic in the packaging for their plastic figures is the most easily and widely recycled plastic on earth. When it comes right down to it, it's about spending less money. With oil prices what they are, and plastics being made from oil, the only plastic they want to be putting on shelves is the toys themselves. And they would make them out of wood if they thought they could get away with it. With the cost of paper/cardboard rising, too, we'll see how far this plastic-free packaging thing goes, especially with many collectors hating it.
  2. That's excellent. And considering all the parts he has in common with Anniversary Cap, he'd be extremely easy for Hasbro to make, too. It might not be this good, but we need Isaiah from them.
  3. We've needed a new Howard in Legends for years. It's kind of hard to believe Hasbro hasn't made a figure of him yet. With Blade, I assume you mean the "Vampire Wars" figure and not the main figure from the movie line.
  4. It might just be a color error. Sometimes a colorist under a time crunch to get a cover finished and who isn't familiar with all the characters makes a mistake like that.
  5. Thanks for posting the link at the top. I could not find these two on the site at all.
  6. Yeah, he should be bigger than Happy Hogan but not a lot bigger. Quarter inch maybe.
  7. His jacket's too short, too. Damn shame, because like so many others, it would have been an incredible figure with a little better attention to detail. The headsculpt is really quite excellent. I guess I'll wait for his "classic" look, too.
  8. I'm really hoping the CGI is just unfinished and will look much better by August, because that IS NOT MCU quality. I'm liking everything else, though. A lot.
  9. Been following your work on this guy on youtube a little bit. He turned out just outstanding.
  10. They're not super in demand that I know of, but Avengers Agent Coulson and Maria Hill, as well as Age of Ultron Hawkeye and Bruce Banner are all good figures that could all be made truly great with some face printing. I'd like to see those rereleased this way.
  11. Yeah, I was astounded, too. I was actually pissed off enough that I was ready to send it back, but my wife talked me out of it and convinced me I might regret it later. As crappy as that situation was with the quality control and customer service, I'm glad she talked me out of sending it back. I didn't order Galactus, but I am VERY interested to see how things are for people once they start getting them.
  12. So yeah. It arrived with a prominent scratch in the paint on the chest. I went back and forth with Pulse CS who sent me to Hasbro CS who told me that I could send it back to them for a refund, but an exchange wouldn't be possible. I was told they had QC stock of some of the parts like hands, heads, and the pack-in figures but not entire Sentinel figures in case something was wrong with the body. I eventually chose to keep it and just display it battle damaged only.
  13. After getting shafted on QC and CS with my Sentinel, unless it's something I really need, I think I'm out. Especially if this goes up before folks start getting their Galactus figures.
  14. There just hasn't been a really good reason to make a screaming female head until now. The hint from the December live stream of "We've actually made some extra pieces for her that hopefully we'll be using the next time we figure out a place to bring her out" certainly implies an upcoming open mouth head and likely a sonic scream effect that both she and her da can use.
  15. That would be my guess. We've all seen movies, shows, and games where the animation/effects had been rushed, and it's disappointing as hell. Waiting an extra six months sucks, but if they need the time to get things right, I'm fine with that.
  16. Hot Toys used to put rooted hair on female figures with some regularity. Results were mixed.
  17. And now it's up. https://www.target.com/p/marvel-legends-series-60th-anniversary-spider-man-noir-and-spider-ham-action-figures-2pk/-/A-84794141#lnk=sametab
  18. Very nice. Has a more of a realistic quality to it than most of the Gundam marker Shocker customs we've been seeing lately.
  19. Yeah, seeing Mr. Plagiarism's name there isn't the kind of thing that should make a comic book fan feel anything but icky about this new series. I'm surprised every time he gets hired.
