Id love to see Jessica Jones but pass on Bernthal and Colter. I think he ( bernthal) did a good job as the Punisher but I would've like to see a bigger actor in the role. I know a lot of marvel execs were over the moon with him but to me he was about 85% there. The Colter Luke Cage however, was just wrong. A sheriff from Georgia? No no no NO! Luke Cage is Harlem born, steeped in New York. They came up with a far too passive, almost boring character change for him.

Even if they bring them both back, I'll be fine with it. But that Finn Jones Iron Fist needs to stay away. Far away.

I'm good with Bernthal. He's a damn good actor and easily the best guy to play the part yet. It's just that his material sucked (like every other Punisher actor before him). He's 5' 11" and was about 170 lbs on Daredevil and about 180 lbs when doing his own show. I don't need my Punisher to be 6' 5", 230 lbs, and built like a professional wrestler.
I agree with you 100% on Colter and Luke Cage. Mike Colter apparently doesn't want to play Luke Cage anymore, so...great. They can find someone better. And yeah, everything about Finn Jones as Iron Fist was terrible, and he was easily the worst Marvel Netflix lead, so I'd like to believe he's not even on Feige's radar.

Yeah I guess you are the second person I now know of who has watched it, yeah fun show, cool animation, obviously Marvel took a huge gamble though making a show about a monkey assassin barely anyone knows a thing about.

The wife and I started, but got a bit bored with it by the third or fourth episode. I don't think it's bad or anything. Just wasn't into it.
But yeah, all the Marvel Television stuff got cancelled in part because Feige didn't oversee its creation. Everything has to fit into his universe. He also seemed to have major issues with Jeph Loeb and couldn't wait to can everything he made once he stepped down.

Which is part of disney+. There aren't a different app or anything.

It doesn't look like that's correct. This is right off their site:

Star+ is a standalone general entertainment and sports streaming service in Latin America. It is complementary to, but independent from Disney+ in the region. The service is the home for exclusive premieres of general entertainment TV series and movies from The Walt Disney Company’s content studios, including Disney Television Studios, FX, 20th Century Studios, Star Original Productions, National Geographic Original Productions and more, and the streaming service for live sports from ESPN, the most respected and renowned brand for sports fans in the region.

From dramas to comedies, including all seasons of The Simpsons, and thrillers for adults, Star+ also features exclusive original programming from the Star general entertainment brand, along with a collection of regional original productions from Latin America.

The figure's decent, but I think the biggest misfires are the eyes and the color. The suit is supposed to be dark chrome, so it should've used a dark red and a paler gold. And if they wanted to go the extra mile, Hasbro could've applied that carbonized technique they have for Star Wars figures. I mean, Alex Ross' design notes on this figure literally say a key distinction is a reflective mirror finish.

The eye slits should be thinner. And another extra-mile effort would've been to include the eyes under the mask, another distinct feature of this armor. Hasbro did it for Iron Man 2020 and they do it for Doctor Doom figures, so it would've been doable.

I'm still happy that this figure got made. It's rare for Hasbro to make modern figures for a new look while the character is still sporting it. Alongside this wave's Thor and the House of X stuff, Hasbro seems to really be picking up the pace when it comes to making topical figures, and I'm happy for it.

I just wish this is how the armor looked like:

And I would have bought that in a heartbeat instead of passing.

I think reason why it won't be on Disney+ is more likely to be new vision and direction for these characters, and they don't want that old vision to confuse viewers.  Also Disney+ has Logan movie which has violence and small scene with boobs.

Yeah, the R-rated and more mature stuff is on Disney+ in the rest of the world where Hulu isn't a thing. In the states, though, Logan is on Hulu and not on Disney+. And yeah, like I alluded to above, there is also the very real possibility that once these shows leave Netflix, that's it for them. (Some of) the characters will continue to appear in Marvel studios projects, but Kevin Feige may likely have no issues pretending that the Netflix-produced series that showcased them never happened.

    @JayC@Outsiders

Thanks for the advice, I still cannot create a post in that section of the forum.

I've managed to change my display name from Andoy24 to Bluecomet in the TNI webpage.

The only forum I am allowed to post is in the Action Figure--> Marvel section.

Have you sent Jay a private message to ask him for access to that section? You won't get permission to post there without doing that.

A human’s head is bashed in with a car door in episode 3 of DD. Mando and Boba kill, but there’s no blood, and the only human killed was the Client IIRC. While I don’t doubt these could go to d+, my money’s on Star+

Star+ appears to only be a thing in Latin America. Hulu, in the United States, seems like where the Defenders shows would end up. Since Hit Monkey is apparently on Disney + in Europe, that's probably where these shows will go, assuming they go anywhere but gone.

  8. Once somebody posts about gun violence and the ease of buying guns, that tells me this thread has run it's course, and it's time to for a lock before it goes off topic again into political territory. Hasbro's inconsistency about when they include realistic looking firearms as accessories is one thing. The other is simply not a discussion for these boards.
