  1. The hand has six of those...I have no idea what they're called, whereas Morbius has five. They appear to be diamond shaped (Morlun), and not round (Morbius). The hand appears to be fully painted and lacks gray claws, which animated Morbius should definitely have, and which Morlun would not (yes, I know Morlun sometimes has claws, but they aren't gray). So unless Hasbro really messed up, the hand belongs to Morlun and not Morbius.

I'm pretty sure the continued multiple reference to Covid being the reason for things not working out were clearly partly tongue in cheek and partly "let's see what stick", cuz in this day the Rona is the go to excuse for literally everything. It's a clever way to shut down legit questions. Also I'm betting the face sculpt won't be half as bad in hand. It wouldn't be the first time the promo pics made a figure look horribly. Remember how bad both the MCU Wasp and Nebula looked, and they both turned out pretty great.

Which MCU Nebula? The first or the second one?

If I'm not mistaken, Disney already paid her. She got mad cuz they also released it on D+ when I guess she was under the assumption that it was just gonna be released only in theatres so she also wants a cut of the D+ moola. That's where the "greedy" part comes in imo.

You're partially mistaken. Like many stars, her contract included a back end deal, where she would receive a cut of the profits after the movie grossed a certain amount at the box office, which releasing the movie on Disney+ prevented, as this cut into theater revenue. Her representatives sought assurances in advance that the movie would be released exclusively in theaters. "In response, Marvel Chief Counsel Dave Galluzzi promised a traditional theatrical bow, while adding 'We understand that should the plan change, we would need to discuss this with you and come to an understanding as the deal is based on a series of (very large) box office bonuses.'" When her people reached out again to renegotiate after learning the movie would premiere on Disney+ and in theaters simultaneously, Marvel and Disney were apparently "unresponsive."
This is all in the Variety and Wall Street Journal articles

so she is getting money from the D+ launch and she earned 20mil for the cinema release?

From the original WSJ article, it sounds like the answer is no.

According to the complaint, Ms. Johansson’s representatives sought to renegotiate her contract after learning of the dual-release strategy for “Black Widow,” which she has said is her ninth and last Marvel movie. Disney and Marvel were unresponsive, the suit said.

I find Disney's wording very calculated here (note certain terms doing very heavy lifting): "the release of Black Widow on Disney+ with Premier Access has significantly enhanced her ability to earn additional compensation."  It's very careful to say that she could have been earning more money from Disney+ without saying at all that she is, because if she were, it seems doubtful she'd be suing.
PR does this a lot. They want it to sound to the masses like something is happening or like they've done something when it's not and they haven't. Legally they can't lie so they talk around the issue to protect their image and hope no one notices.

  5. I doubt it was an intentional breach of contract, but Disney did breach it nonetheless, it sounds like.
This bit seems here seems rather damning, because it sounds like they just blew her and her people off:

Johansson legal team said that representatives for the actress were worried that “Black Widow” would debut on Disney Plus even before coronavirus brought life to a standstill. As part of the suit, they share emails from the star’s management group that asked the studio to guarantee that “Black Widow” would premiere exclusively in cinemas. In response, Marvel Chief Counsel Dave Galluzzi promised a traditional theatrical bow, while adding “We understand that should the plan change, we would need to discuss this with you and come to an understanding as the deal is based on a series of (very large) box office bonuses.”

However, Cassie Lang is now portrayed by Kathryn Newton, since Scott Lang’s daughter has grown a lot in the story after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Unless there's another time jump that somehow requires a 26 year-old actress replace a 19 year old, there's no reason I can see why this is necessary. There was absolutely nothing wrong with Emma Fuhrmann. In fact, she was great. I like Kathryn Newton fine, but I refuse to believe she's just automatically better somehow. Plus, she looks nothing like Paul Rudd and Judy Greer.

Hard to see the final product having it's holes filled, when people are showing in hand images of the final sealed product. Also they did to fix the hands.

I totally forgot there were reviews from Shartimus and ToysShiz. Yeah, the holes in the traps are there, and a running change seems unlikely. But what do you mean "they did fix the hands"? I'm not seeing the white patches on them in any of the three in-hand reviews that are up on Youtube. Or are you talking about something else?

  8. Doom, Storm, Carnage, and Captain America are amazing, aside from Cap's neck seam, which I am assuming (read: HOPING) they fix. The Black Widow is also looking great but her stinger blasts seem to be in a weird pattern. They said in the video they were trying to convey motion, but I still think it would be more effective if they were in a more circular pattern from around her wrists.

I thought someone had asked Dan or Dwight and they had indicated the shoulder holes would be filled in on the final product, but I could be wrong

Well, if you're not wrong, they should say something more definitively. Maybe an official tweet/facebook post from Hasbro Pulse or address it on the live stream next week, because that that thing would definitely sell better if those holes weren't there.
