  1. Rob Liefeld would be proud.
  2. It could be that Valentina was the middle-woman somehow. It also could be that someone behind the scenes of the show wasn't paying as much attention to continuity as they should. There's an "Easter egg" toward the end that's not particularly well thought out and reminds me of something JJ Abrams or Alex Kurtzman would do, so I wouldn't totally put it past them, but I don't want to discuss the details here and spoil things for folks who haven't seen it yet considering that the first few lines of every new post show up in the "All" view, and I'm sure I'm not the only person who prefers to view the forum that way.
  3. Maybe future waves will be only five figures moving forward.
  4. I'm not a big fan of these, but this one is my favorite so far.
  5. Yeah, if all that detail is still there, and it looks like it might be, a repaint could make that figure pretty outstanding.
  6. Thanks for the reminder that we have SPDR but no Peni. She's definitely needed.
  7. Yeah, the steel knuckles really do make that hand look more mechanical than it should.
  8. A lot of the picks above are obvious choices and some aren't so obvious but absolutely inspired choices. My list isn't going to look super original at this point, but I will add a few characters that haven't been mentioned yet. 1. Ch'od 2. Armor 3. Warstar 4. Dragon Man 5. Mammomax 6. Bi-Beast 7. Hemingway 8. A-Bomb 9. Titanium Man 10. Mojo
  9. 1. Scourge of the Underworld (Classic) 2. Enigma 3. Hepzibah (modern) 4. Ozymandias 5. Ch'od 6. Warstar (since that's technically two characters together, I'll skip to #8) 8. Blue Marvel 9. Syn 10. Melinda May (Agents of SHIELD)
  10. Double elbows and butterfly shoulders? I think so.
  11. Yep. Butterfly shoulders, too. Pretty necessary for an archer figure.
  12. Yep. Stakes are important. It would have probably been smarter had Sony saved this announcement for AFTER the movie's premiere, but very few people have ever accused Sony of being smart with Spider-Man.
  13. The shield is wrong, too. She uses her red white and blue shield on that mission.
  14. He showed up first on Spider-Man: The Animated Series, voiced by Malcolm McDowell and then Oliver Muirhead, but yeah, that's essentially correct. Afari in the comics and Whistler on tv and in the movies...so far.
  15. I read somewhere (can't find it now, of course) that he was playing Jamal Afari, but that was likely just speculation.
  16. A new Spiral is long overdue.
  17. Folks, I know it's a little difficult to talk about X-Men without talking about politics, but give it a try.
  18. Eminem coined the term Stan as a combination of the words "stalker" and "fan," but that's not how most of the hip kids on the internet use it. I kind of doubt Ziglar believes some kind of weird conspiracies about Captain America. He's clearly just throwing words around.
  19. It appears to be Norman with a hood and goggles.
  20. Alyson Court confirmed on Twitter that she was returning, but said that she will not be voicing Jubilee again.
  21. Yer damn right there is.
  22. Wearing headbands and wearing jackets and coats with rolled up sleeves.
  23. Alyson Court's coming back! I wasn't a fan of Jubilee on the show when I was a kid (I'm still not), but I've been a fan of hers for years. Kinda weird she sits out the fan events, like Galaxy Con and stuff, but she seems really cool otherwise. Glad to see pretty much the entire original cast is coming back.
