  1. 1. Hepzibah (modern) 2. Howard the Duck 3. Ronan 4. Ch'od 5. Death If for some reason Howard doesn't count, then move everybody up a notch and put Warstar at #5
  2. Yep. No greed on Disney's part at all. None.
  3. From the original WSJ article, it sounds like the answer is no. According to the complaint, Ms. Johansson’s representatives sought to renegotiate her contract after learning of the dual-release strategy for “Black Widow,” which she has said is her ninth and last Marvel movie. Disney and Marvel were unresponsive, the suit said. I find Disney's wording very calculated here (note certain terms doing very heavy lifting): "the release of Black Widow on Disney+ with Premier Access has significantly enhanced her ability to earn additional compensation." It's very careful to say that she could have been earning more money from Disney+ without saying at all that she is, because if she were, it seems doubtful she'd be suing. PR does this a lot. They want it to sound to the masses like something is happening or like they've done something when it's not and they haven't. Legally they can't lie so they talk around the issue to protect their image and hope no one notices.
  4. She sure wouldn't work with them again if they asked.
  5. I doubt it was an intentional breach of contract, but Disney did breach it nonetheless, it sounds like. This bit seems here seems rather damning, because it sounds like they just blew her and her people off: Johansson legal team said that representatives for the actress were worried that “Black Widow” would debut on Disney Plus even before coronavirus brought life to a standstill. As part of the suit, they share emails from the star’s management group that asked the studio to guarantee that “Black Widow” would premiere exclusively in cinemas. In response, Marvel Chief Counsel Dave Galluzzi promised a traditional theatrical bow, while adding “We understand that should the plan change, we would need to discuss this with you and come to an understanding as the deal is based on a series of (very large) box office bonuses.”
  6. The Galactus figure less than six inches taller than the Sentinel.
  7. Unless there's another time jump that somehow requires a 26 year-old actress replace a 19 year old, there's no reason I can see why this is necessary. There was absolutely nothing wrong with Emma Fuhrmann. In fact, she was great. I like Kathryn Newton fine, but I refuse to believe she's just automatically better somehow. Plus, she looks nothing like Paul Rudd and Judy Greer.
  8. They showed a Hot Toys 1/4 scale Mark 42 the other day that might as well be a posable statue.
  9. I totally forgot there were reviews from Shartimus and ToysShiz. Yeah, the holes in the traps are there, and a running change seems unlikely. But what do you mean "they did fix the hands"? I'm not seeing the white patches on them in any of the three in-hand reviews that are up on Youtube. Or are you talking about something else?
  10. Doom, Storm, Carnage, and Captain America are amazing, aside from Cap's neck seam, which I am assuming (read: HOPING) they fix. The Black Widow is also looking great but her stinger blasts seem to be in a weird pattern. They said in the video they were trying to convey motion, but I still think it would be more effective if they were in a more circular pattern from around her wrists.
  11. Well, if you're not wrong, they should say something more definitively. Maybe an official tweet/facebook post from Hasbro Pulse or address it on the live stream next week, because that that thing would definitely sell better if those holes weren't there.
  12. No, to SEE another Silver Surfer. Dan clarified on Twitter that the first stretch goal would not actually be unlocked at 14,000, just the full reveal.
  13. Everybody on twitter and facebook thinks she's going to be Storm. She's perfect if she is. I think gradually introducing the X characters into the MCU before their first MCU movie could be a good way to go.
  14. There's still 39 days to go. It'll get funded. It might not get much higher than 14,000 backers, but if Frankie is a higher goal that they don't hit, I wouldn't be surprised to see her show up in a wave somewhere down the line or as a Walgreens exclusive or something.
  15. The holes in Venom's traps still kill that figure for me.
  16. Right? The high target and Galactus not being an army builder like the Sentinel are pretty clearly working against it, too. The increase in backers has slowed down. And while I'm sure the numbers are gonna jump when the 1st comes around, I doubt it will be as dramatic as Hasbro and current backers would probably hope. If they want to the want at least 14,000 backers in order to make this thing, it would be a good idea to show collectors more than what we've already seen.
  17. The price tag is in the original IGN article. Amusingly (in an ironic way), their link to Mondo Shop doesn't work.
  18. The look of the heads on this guy has me nervous about Mondo's upcoming 12" Joker. Hopefully that one will be closer to the source material, because the shapes aren't as complicated. Logan looks good from the neck down, I guess.
  19. I think that only looks like Gyllenhaal from the more extreme angles, but whatever.
  20. This is the closest he comes to it, and like @MonsterChris I also believe he's being facetious. https://youtu.be/3zu0CdQ5gKA?t=2361
  21. It would. I have a custom Invisible Man right here, but I wouldn't mind a replacement. Pic:
  22. Be careful using spray paint on styrofoam. Most contain solvents that will melt it. Your best bet is latex house paints and water soluble hobby/craft acrylic stuff.
