Eight Recurring Cast Additions Announced For Spider-Noir
Satam replied to Outsiders's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
I really wish MGM+ wasn't a thing. Maybe it won't be by the time this airs. -
The comic-based Hono studio figures from Hot Toys have all been reasonably priced for the most part. No Marvel Studios or likeness rights tax, I guess.

McFarlane Toys Target Fall Geek Out Preview
Satam replied to toynewman's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
Grabbed two Venom statues yesterday morning. I really wish it was a double statue with an injured Spider-man to better represent the #316 cover, but otherwise, I couldn't pass it up. -
WB, under previous leadership anyway, has done exactly the same thing. Studios seem to be terrified of comic book movies about villains who actually are villains or stay villains the whole time. Also they really butchered the **** out of Johnny Cash's "When the man comes around" for that trailer. Yikes.

Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Dragon Man Figure Pre-Order
Satam replied to JayC's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
The biggest difference is that this doesn't need to reach a minimum number of orders in order to be made. It's gonna happen regardless. The second biggest difference is that there probably will be no tier extras, but we can't totally rule that out just yet. -
Charley Feldman (supervising producer on the first two seasons and writer of about a third of the episodes) was the obvious choice to takeover as showrunner. I guess she must have quit after DeMayo was fired. Too bad. I doubt highly this show's quality will continue penned by the writer of some of What If?'s worst episodes. Also a couple of their best, but that's not a high bar.

Deadpool & Wolverine Tickets on Sale Now!
Satam replied to toynewman's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
Sure looks like Tyler Mane. -
I know that I wouldn't have dismissed the thing outright if the car actually looked like a Dodge Charger.

Did you notice that at no point did Hasbro ever refer to the "Engine of Vengeance" as the Hell Charger? They created a legally distinct generic muscle car toy and changed the name, so they wouldn't have to pay Chrysler for the right to make something that actually looked like a Dodge Charger. The price would have surely been higher if they had, but I also have to wonder if that thing might have also done better had it actually resembled the source material.

Deadpool & Wolverine Popcorn Bucket Revealed
Satam replied to JayC's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
It's a little bit of porn parody. Let's leave it at that, please.
