  1. I really wish MGM+ wasn't a thing. Maybe it won't be by the time this airs.
  2. I liked Shang Chi. I thought it was good. Was it in the MCU's top ten? No. I definitely wouldn't rank it in the lower third of the movies, either. It's probably near the middle for me. With 34 movies in the MCU now, something can still be good and near the middle at the same time.
  3. The comic-based Hono studio figures from Hot Toys have all been reasonably priced for the most part. No Marvel Studios or likeness rights tax, I guess.
  4. Yeah, Odin's a god. I can excuse the extra height more easily than I can a human character like Kingpin.
  5. Grabbed two Venom statues yesterday morning. I really wish it was a double statue with an injured Spider-man to better represent the #316 cover, but otherwise, I couldn't pass it up.
  6. WB, under previous leadership anyway, has done exactly the same thing. Studios seem to be terrified of comic book movies about villains who actually are villains or stay villains the whole time. Also they really butchered the **** out of Johnny Cash's "When the man comes around" for that trailer. Yikes.
  7. I don't know what happened with the whole 7PM thing, but Death's Head is available for preorder at our sponsor Big Bad Toy Store now.
  8. This looks to be a second re-release of their Age of Ultron Hulkbuster from a few years ago. It sold for about $800, and then about $1200 the second time, so I'm gonna venture a guess that it'll be at least a few hundred dollars more now. $1500 or even $1600, maybe.
  9. The biggest difference is that this doesn't need to reach a minimum number of orders in order to be made. It's gonna happen regardless. The second biggest difference is that there probably will be no tier extras, but we can't totally rule that out just yet.
  10. Charley Feldman (supervising producer on the first two seasons and writer of about a third of the episodes) was the obvious choice to takeover as showrunner. I guess she must have quit after DeMayo was fired. Too bad. I doubt highly this show's quality will continue penned by the writer of some of What If?'s worst episodes. Also a couple of their best, but that's not a high bar.
  11. If this is MGM+ in the US, I'm thinking I'm never gonna get a chance to watch it.
  12. I loved Reservation Dogs and Echo gave me a chance to see Graham Greene, Zahn McClarnon, Dallas Goldtooth, and Devery Jacobs on screen again. I needed that.
  13. Sure looks like Tyler Mane.
  14. They can change it all they want, it won't get me to watch it. Kathryn Hahn's great comedic gift is walking a fine line of obnoxious without crossing over into irritating territory. The folks in charge of Wandavision pushed her over that line for Agatha Harkness.
  15. I know that I wouldn't have dismissed the thing outright if the car actually looked like a Dodge Charger.
  16. Did you notice that at no point did Hasbro ever refer to the "Engine of Vengeance" as the Hell Charger? They created a legally distinct generic muscle car toy and changed the name, so they wouldn't have to pay Chrysler for the right to make something that actually looked like a Dodge Charger. The price would have surely been higher if they had, but I also have to wonder if that thing might have also done better had it actually resembled the source material.
  17. It's a little bit of porn parody. Let's leave it at that, please.
