  1. Right? The high target and Galactus not being an army builder like the Sentinel are pretty clearly working against it, too. The increase in backers has slowed down. And while I'm sure the numbers are gonna jump when the 1st comes around, I doubt it will be as dramatic as Hasbro and current backers would probably hope. If they want to the want at least 14,000 backers in order to make this thing, it would be a good idea to show collectors more than what we've already seen.
  2. The price tag is in the original IGN article. Amusingly (in an ironic way), their link to Mondo Shop doesn't work.
  3. The look of the heads on this guy has me nervous about Mondo's upcoming 12" Joker. Hopefully that one will be closer to the source material, because the shapes aren't as complicated. Logan looks good from the neck down, I guess.
  4. I think that only looks like Gyllenhaal from the more extreme angles, but whatever.
  5. This is the closest he comes to it, and like @MonsterChris I also believe he's being facetious. https://youtu.be/3zu0CdQ5gKA?t=2361
  6. It would. I have a custom Invisible Man right here, but I wouldn't mind a replacement. Pic:
  7. Be careful using spray paint on styrofoam. Most contain solvents that will melt it. Your best bet is latex house paints and water soluble hobby/craft acrylic stuff.
  8. It seems to be a very early prototype. By the time it's solicited, the photos will show more detailed tailoring. We also probably won't see this figure (this exact figure, anyway) at the Sideshow Con event this coming week.
  9. It was probably in concept art or deleted scenes that Hot Toys (and Hasbro) had access to that the regular movie going audience so far has not. Also Alexei's action figure in the movie has the shield, and he also has it in Contest of Champions.
  10. For only $50 more, I don't think he's gonna. If that really is the price, I'm thinking 6" taller at the most.
  11. The hair isn't quite right for the scenes where she's in this outfit, and appears to be too red (should be more orange), but this is easily Hot Toys' best ScarJo likeness to date.
  12. I expected Korg to be funnier here, but Deadpool is in top form. The movie looks great, too. Been looking forward to it.
  13. I really liked it. My wife and I would have payed almost $30 to see it in the theater, so I'll consider the extra couple of bucks the price for being able to pause it to go to the bathroom without missing anything and for having what I think is better sound.
  14. That would have been incredibly difficult. Not with a whole figure, anyway. Otherwise articulation would be seriously compromised. The best Hot Toys was able to do was a partial Obadiah--torso and head. I would have loved if Hasbro had done something like that, but it would have made for a more expensive figure, too, no doubt.
  15. Yep. If we get a good-sized Galactus (3 feet +) there's absolutely zero reason for tiny Heralds. Six-inch figures should be just fine.
  16. Most of these were my picks from the "Build a better box set wave" but they'd work in a wave, too. -Captain America (lighter blue and red repaint for the 80th Cap or Onslaught wave Cap with new head to give him a bit more of a Mike Zeck feel. Either would be great). -Sharon Carter -US Agent (John really needs a redo) -Sin -Isaiah Bradley -Scourge of the Underworld (classic) -Falcon (classic)
  17. Neon Tech Iron Man 4.0, PS4 Cyborg Spider-Man, The Armorer from the Mandalorian...there should be one more. Hot Toys typically has four "Summer Toy Fair" exclusives.
