  1. If you guys want to have a discussion about the female anatomy, there are plenty of other places on the internet for that.
  2. They can begin, but MCU productions make extensive use of rewrites and reshoots during production, "enhancing both the storytelling and the bottom line" [Disney speak for fixing what's not working and filling in gaps.] Can't really do that with the writers on strike.
  3. Then Disney should hurry up and make try to make things right. They can't do it by themselves, of course, but they're the biggest entertainment company in the world, and other studios would likely follow their lead if they were to negotiate in good faith and make real gestures toward compensating writers fairly for the 2020s and agreeing to regulations on generative AI.
  4. I imagine as long as Marvel Studios doesn't hire any scabs to write this or try using an AI, and waits for the strike to end, the final product should be fine.
  5. The head sculpt with the goggles is on point, but considering how expressive Willem Dafoe's face is, and all the expressions he has in that movie, a bored and haggard Norman Osborn alternate head sculpt just seems wrong.
  6. You're right about the face. This Apocalypse looks more pained than pissed.
  7. Fair enough. It's clearly based on this cover by J. Scott Campbell. It's not my Rogue, either, but I think it's hard to deny that they did a good job.
  8. Well, I want this figure. I am not a fan of the first appearance style head with the piggy nostrils and much prefer this one. Also while still findable on Ebay, the previous Ultron is out of stock almost everywhere, except for Big Bad Toy Store, and I can't imagine they have many left. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago, but it's been almost two years.
  9. So...just a wishlist of figures that haven't been done yet, basically. Okay. Why not? Classic Scourge Enigma Squirrel Girl (US Avengers) Modern Hepzibah Catface Beast Sin Modern Triton Warstar Ozymandias Comic Melinda May TV's Agent Carter (red hat and blue dress)
  10. This already looks so much better than the Captain Marvel movie.
  11. It's not like customizing. They can't just drill holes into the torso. Alterations to the torso require new tooling just like a brand new torso. That said, they can do that, they just clearly chose not to.
  12. There won't be wings. That would have required retooling that 12" Cap torso, and they clearly didn't do that.
  13. No problem. I think a lot of people see "Bio PET" and think "compostable," which is designed to break down on its own over a relatively short period of time, and that's not what this is.
  14. PET is the most easily recyclable and most widely recycled of all plastics. The earth isn't screwed because of action figure packaging or plastic straws or lightbulbs or whatever. There are much bigger problems.
  15. Recycled PET is essentially the same as regular PET. The Bio PET apparently is, too. As far as its structure, Bio-PET is chemically identical to virgin PET #1 plastic. This means it has all of the properties of PET including strong impact resistance, clarity and oxygen barrier properties, while withstanding temperatures up to 65°C [149°F]. In other words, Bio-PET is identical in every way to PET #1, but it’s made from 30% bio-based waste product instead.
  16. They were already using PET plastic in their packaging, and if anything, the recycled PET should be cheaper than new. During one of their last presentations to stockholders they seemed to be keenly aware that they'd hit a ceiling with price increases, and that they were actually losing sales because of it.
  17. Josh Friedman was only one of five people who contributed to the story for Avatar 2 and had nothing to do with the screenplay. Better looks at his actual work on screen are movies like War of the Worlds (2005) and The Black Dalia and television shows like Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Snowpiercer.
  18. I thought that was because Feige and Loeb don't get along. Or do you mean the fact that Marvel Television and Marvel Studios were separate entities in the first place?
  19. The Happy Hogan body is too small. Vincent D' Onofrio is taller than Samuel L Jackson and that Kingpin figure is very clearly shorter than the Nick Fury figure. Kingpin should have a brand new body which could lead to other big characters in suits.
