I wonder how many will buy this figure just for the sake of the dead meme,
It's always Morbin' Time somewhere.

Keep discussions on these boards civil--disagreements, too. @ChaosKitten, this isn't the place for antagonizing others, whether they're wrong, whether you think they're wrong, or for any other reason.

I wonder if they made this figure long ago but back then Marvel wasn't too happy with promoting Fox movie so they shelved it. As for the figure, It kinda looks skinny, Jackman was probably the most ripped he has been in that movie, if anything I would be happy if they gave us a shirtless option with a well sculpted anatomy.
I think it's more likely that their licensing deal with Fox ended, while they kept their agreement with Disney. After the merger they surely renegotiated with Disney to start doing Fox properties again, and it may not have been finalized until recently.

According to sources, Daniel Kaluuya exited the project due to conflicts with scheduling on Jordan Peele’s horror Nope.
That makes sense. I don't believe The Upper World has started filming yet, and Nope wrapped filming last Winter, and Wakanda Forever wrapped this past Spring.

Sounds like Daniel’s “conflict” is realizing this movie will be a cluster$#@& without Black Panther and is jumping ship before the franchise crashes and burns.
He's got a sci-fi movie lined up called The Upper World.

While there are a ton of figures I'd still like to see, I have no predictions, aside from I think they'll likely reveal this year's Marvel Haslab or at least tease it.

@Outsiders I recommend giving it a watch. It really is quite good.

To steer things back on topic a little, is anyone here planning on getting a Hot Wheels Ghost Rider?

So do grocery carts but I doubt a company that predominantly makes cars will make one.
It's real, and it's not a cart-shaped car or anything. There's no engine in this thing.0 -

that would be a good arguement...................if they didn't do the Thanos chopter a few years back lol/
I wasn't the one who seemed to be implying that Hot Wheels had to be cars. I simply pointed out that motorcycles have wheels. I'm not saying Hot Wheels have to have wheels, although an argument could be made that a helicopter rotor is just a wheel with airfoils on it.

Wait, Benedict Wong is playing a different character? LOL
Nope. Ginger Gonzaga is an actress. I fixed it here, but only @Outsiders can fix it on the main page. I'll PM him and let him know about the error.

While I'm well past tired of seeing endless Iron Man after Iron Man from Hot Toys, considering that this is a summer convention exclusive, I'm glad it's a repainted Iron Man instead of something like Spider-Man Noir (either PS4 or Into the Spiderverse) or Nebula from the first Guardians of the Galaxy or some other unique or mostly unique figure. This is an easy pass for most people, but still something kind of special (If Iron Man is your thing), as most exclusives should be.

I don't think its fair that you feel I should "stop talking about it" when I see plenty of commenters here doing the same on this, and a wide variety of topics.
This isn't a Black Panther thread. You bringing that up is somewhat random and it's off topic (you just used the Wolverine casting as an opening to post about T'Challa). Your post is quite a bit more off topic than comments from other members in this thread. Whether you agree with that assessment or not, a moderator asked you to drop the subject. Now two are doing so. Please keep the discussion focused on Taron Egerton and Wolverine and leave the Black Panther stuff for more relevant threads. You won't be asked a third time.

Black bird is too big. Even if they did make it, I wouldn't back it. If i'm remembering correctly from the Agent's of Shield TV show, I think the quin jet is doable. It wasn't too big and can carry several figures.
I'd be down for Punisher Van and Hell charger too.
A Quinjet in Legends scale would be around 3 feet long and two feet wide. Totally doable.

A properly scaled X-Men Blackbird would be seven feet long. That will never happen, so I vote for FFF.

They haven't confirmed she's going to be the new one, have they? I haven't heard that yet.
I haven't heard or read that anywhere, either. Not officially, anyway. There's plenty of fan speculation all over the place, but that doesn't mean anything right now.

Howard has been doing pranks on the radio for years. I'd be surprised if this was anything else.

So is this an all female cast? And are we finally going to see Spider-Man show up in one of these Spider-verse movies?
Tahar Rahim isn't female. And I'm gonna guess that Spider-Man won't show up.

Are we sticking with just Marvel or can I lambast that horrible Justice League Flash costume as well?
Let's keep it Marvel considering the board we're all on here. If somebody wants to start this same topic in the General Discussion section on the ToyNewsI boards for non-marvel heroes, go right ahead.

SDCC 2022 - Hasbro Says Plastic Will Remain On Collector-Oriented Retro Style Cardback Figue Packaging
in Marvelous News's General Area
Posted
The PET recycled plastic is the same plastic they've been using in their packaging for years. So this has always been a stunt because some bean counter figured they could save more money and some marketing guy figured out a way they could look good (to some) doing it.
Don't knock that plastic bubble inside. It's not wasteful. A lot of people are going to miss the protection it affords, cushioning the figure from shock to the very back of the package. I don't think I've said this here yet, but I predict quite a few figures in the new plastic free packaging are going to break from poor handling at retailers like Walmart and Amazon now that they're going to be braced right against that back wall of cardboard.
Also, since they're already starting to make exceptions for the whole plastic free packaging thing, I'm guessing the whole experiment won't last very long, and that they'll change it back by 2024 or 2025 at the latest.
