Technically it was the Icons 12" Venom figure from Toybiz. My first regular scale Legends figure was the Hasbro Nemesis Wave Punisher, camo variant.

I don't understand being dissatisfied with a figure that's 1.5" too small and instead wanting one that's 2" too big. That's okay, tho.

Wouldn't Sasquatch be oversized at 12" tall?

I wanna see the crazy Jack Kirby visuals like in Rangarok.
Yeah, same here.

Damn, do I miss Kay-Bee Toys.

Toybiz made a Savage Dragon in their Legendary Comic Book Heroes line when they lost the Marvel license, so he technically did get the Legend treatment, just not from Hasbro. WildC.A.T.S. would be great. I've needed an articulated and human-proportioned 6" Grifter forever.

Been waiting for this for a long time. It only took Marvel killing off half the characters in the MCU for Hot Toys to finally make her.

I was under the (obviously incorrect) assumption that John had stopped making custom figures. That looks damn good.

How the hell did I miss this? It's absolutely perfect!

Sources are claiming that Rachel Weisz is a person of interest for the film but currently there are no negotiations taking place as no official offer has been made.
Source: Deadline Via THR
"Though a deal has not yet been completed, sources tell Variety that talks are headed in that direction, with strong interest from both sides of negotiations.
Marvel had no comment on the talks, and reps for Weisz’s team could not be reached for comment."
I'm gonna go ahead and trust Variety's sources over Deadline's. Also, I really like David Harbour and Rachel Weisz, and I hope to see them both in the Black Widow movie along with Julie Delpy returning as Madame B.0 -

Dear lord. That is expensive. It's amazing to me that a market exists for figures of that price range.
My bad. $350 - $600. I just checked Lewin's website. Others are jacking up the price significantly.

yeah, I don't understand this whole "only release a head" thing. Particularly when we don't really have the right bodies out there for a swap. The Shadow King/Kingpin I get as well as the Onslaught head, but Lilandra and Mad Cap make zero sense to me.
I actually expect Hasbro to release a Lilandra figure without a helmet by the end of the year. Madcap, I do not expect to ever see.

I'm not sure a rep system is a good idea. I was a mod on another board and all people did was use it to boost each other's rep or bash people they didn't like, so we got rid of it.
The rep system that's over on the Toy News International forums doesn't seem to be a problem, and I don't think you can neg people, either. People seem to use it pretty responsibly over there.

I voted. I had to Google some of them, too, and I would have put some others on there, but that's me.

It's gonna be an expensive figure, too. Lewin's regular Optimus sells for $500-$600. It's also quite large.

Wait? Is that confirmed? I’m pretty sure this is real.
A couple other news sites had info about this five days ago, so the timing isn't right for an April Fool's joke, and a few etailers have preorders for it, so it would indeed appear to be about as real as anything else.

I knew about the Storm. Didn't know about Jean Grey, which version of her? Thanks
There's a couple of Phoenix variants and a '60s Marvel Girl figure.

News in the future? Because I don't think Diamond has revealed any plans for Jim Lee style X-Men past Psylocke. They have released Jean Grey and Storm in other looks, but I don't think they've even made Professor X or Iceman figures yet.

I kind of like it. I don't love it, but I think it works fairly well.

I saw this right before I had my coffee this morning and thought for about two seconds that it was serious.

One:12 vs Legends, Very Interesting.

This is how Hasbro should do every two pack with re-released figures. The significant changes to the Kraven figure, the black eye and cuts on the Peter Parker head, the box art on the side panels... *kisses fingers like a chef*

Has anybody seen Mystique at Walgreens in Northern Virginia, Fairfax County?

Probably Spider-Gwen.
The thing I like most about that Spider-Gwen figure is that Hasbro went and made what is, for all intents and purposes, an Emma Stone head. She was a really fantastic Gwen Stacy.

Apocalypse, easily. It is such a badass figure.
