  1. Damn. You couldn't tell you bank that wasn't fraud? Or was it more complicated than that?
  2. Please keep the culture war nonsense out of this thread and avoid comments about wokeness , lecturing, pandering and the like. If y'all wanna talk about that kind of thing, you can take it to Facebook or Twitter. Thanks
  3. I liked Bernthal a lot as the Punisher. I didn't like the Netflix series, but I liked him.
  4. It seems we may have an accidental(?) early reveal of a brand new character.
  5. So far, sure. I really hope they don't cancel it like they did when people ordered multiple times to try to get more than two of the Target exclusive GI Joe Classified Cobra Troopers and/or Vipers a couple years ago. I can't for the life of me understand why Hasbro would give Target any army-builder-tye figure ever again after that s***.
  6. Target exclusive Tracksuit Mafia figure with three heads. Limit 2 per order (or possibly even per customer). Perfect.
  7. I'm a little confused as to whether this means that it's not going to be Noirverse Peter Parker but someone else or if they just mean it won't be the Peter Parker with whom most people are familiar. Knowing Sony, It could easily be the former.
  8. Cap Villains -Scourge of the Underworld -Sin -Porcupine -Flag Smasher -Baron Blood
  9. Kingpin (.5" to .75" too tall) Classic Nick Fury (the head on that figure is great, but the body should have been from Spider-Man UK) Blade (The dark blues on the MK figure was an odd choice, the Kitana was just too generic, and the lack of a gun disappointing. I still don't like it, but I can accept the sculpted bits of hair on the top of the modern head, as artists have never been able to decide whether those pointy bits are hair or tattoos. No open mouth or at least a snarl to show off his fangs was also a disappointment)
  10. A big part of the reason for hiring actors from other countries for American roles in big studio movies is that most of them aren't SAG-AFTRA members, and studios can pay them less than the negotiated minimum salaries. I don't believe it works the other way around, so that one is harder to explain. But often the actor is someone like Peter Dinklage, who the producers are super happy to bring onto a project and/or the director has been hoping to work with for years.
  11. Cassandra Webb passed on the Madame Web mantle to Julia Carpenter, so there is a young and attractive Madame Web in the comics. That said, the likelihood that movie or Kraven will be any good are incredibly slim. Venom should have been a flop and Sony seems to have learned the wrong lessons from Morbius.
  12. Technically there is. This is what the Washoe Sherriff's department said in a statement: “Mr. Renner went to retrieve his PistenBully, or snowcat — an extremely large piece of snow-removal equipment weighing at least 14,330 pounds — in an effort to get his vehicle moving,” Balaam said at the time, noting the Hawkeye alum was helping a family member get a “stuck” car out of a snowbank. “After successfully towing his personal vehicle from its stuck location, Mr. Renner got out of his PistenBully to speak to his family member.” He continued: “At this point, it is observed that the PistenBully started to roll. In an effort to stop the rolling PistenBully, Mr. Renner attempts to get back into the driver's seat of the PistenBully. Based on our investigation, it's at this point that Mr. Renner is run over by the PistenBully. … The investigation is ongoing, however, we do not suspect any foul play. I'll repeat that: We do not suspect any foul play. We believe this was a tragic accident.” Anyway, I'm glad that every update since the accident has been a positive one.
  13. As a moderator, you should have the ability to merge the two threads if you want. And you certainly have my permission.
