SUPER HERO SPOTLIGHT: THE BLACK KNIGHT

What?!! These look fantastic, maybe the Human Torch will come with a Johnny Storm head also and that's why the unflammed uniform. These look great. If anything could make me cough up money for One:12 figures these should.

Now that I have Stiltman, I'm looking forward to a nice appropriate sized Mr. Hyde. I would like a Swordsman and a nice Trevor Fitzroy of Xmen fame, so Cable and Bishop can beat the snot off his nose. A Mad Thinker and his awesome android, a nice Mole Man and throw in a few Moleoids. Sorry guess I kinda got off track. Oh and a single pack Monica Rambeau.

The Hood was in Avengers, a criminal who had a cloak controlled by a demon which made him invincible and he could teleport if I remember correctly. He and maybe Lady Deathstrike are the only ones of this wave I am currently interested in. Maybe Aim Supreme too. That red skull body sure would be perfect for a Mad Thinker.

Toybiz: Nostalgia or actually good figures?
silverback replied to Dabboi's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
What Satam said in a nutshell, Great for their time but by today's standards not very good at all. I'm sure their are a few that may still stand the test of time but not many. And as far as the body proportions compared to today, no contest hands down. I still have a few I hang on to, but if not for the onset of Covid I may have traded them in by now. Yes we have moved on into the future of action figures and it's a wonderful time to be a collector or just a fan. -
Nice work here MonsterChris, this is certainly an oldie but goody. You did a really good job on the paint and the cape really completes the figure. I like your action pic with him fighting the bad guy's too. Congrats on a very good piece of artwork here amigo. Thanks for sharing.

Yep, I needed this advice 20 years ago. All the mistakes I've made over the years, especially regarding the BAF's. I was the opposite of Atlantis, I could not restrain or be patient when it came to the KIngpin BAF. I just had to have it so I bought the whole wave. Then when the single figure came and looked better I was stuck with the BAF version. And probably many other waves too. Take your time and learn to cherry pick in some cases. And keep in mind price drops on certain characters and versions you may want. I admit it's hit and miss but you might just get lucky in some cases. Oh and Atlan

Now that I have a closer look at this Magneto version. I can see potential for a nice custom Graviton figure. With the right head, some work on the boot's and nice blue paint job. Too bad I'm so terrible at custom work on figures.

Nice, my memory banks aren't currently up to date on all of Capt. Marvel's enemies and villains, space wise or earth. Maybe it could be a villain from earth?

Nice, but not particularly interested in this version of Prof. X. However seeing him in this black body suit brings to mind a lot of ways to custom this particular buck. Without any specific markings or designs this could be a customizers dream buck. Wonder if the price will eventually drop or maybe this version will become in high demand?

Good eye on the painting Bashpics, It kind of looks like one of the burning Giraffs print but not one I am familiar with. Maybe Aliska can clear it up.
