  1. Since sometime in the mid 2010s (forget exactly when), up til 2020. Most notably worn in his 2017 self-titled solo series.
  2. A little disappointed that this updated Moonstone buck doesn't seem to have changed anything below the chest and arms, since I've always found the hips to be a bit annoying on that mold, but still glad to see that larger filled-out female body with double elbows.
  3. Wait a minute are they actually making Iron Man's unhelmeted Tony heads appropriately and logically smaller than the helmets now? YES! FINALLY!!
  4. I wouldn't assume that this saved the HasLab or the removal of Robbie killed it, since even with the numbers going down, it was still at over halfway, and many HasLabs that succeeded were not at that many backers by this same time in the campaign. Remember, the vast majority of projects like this (includint HasLabs) get the vast majority of their backers in the first and (especially) last 48 hours. Had they not done this or anything similar and just left it civilian-Robbie-less, I would say there was still a pretty decently high likelihood the campaign would succeed, but maybe just like barely. The addition is definitely improving the chances but it still may well not make it very far past the base level of success. TL;DR: the removal of civilian Robbie lost a lot of backers, but they probably were not the majority of people (currently or total by the end) willing to back it. As overpriced as this is, there are still such a large number of people who might want something like this that statistically there's probably a statistically-small-yet-gross-numerically-large portion for whom price is not much of an object and can get the project to succeed.
  5. Being very charitable and assuming amped-up exclusive pricing for the other figures in the pack, you get $42 for Mojo + $28 for Longshot + $28 for Dazzler + a very generous $15 for lil Wolverine, that still only leaves the combined value at $113. Mojo in the multipack does have more paint apps than the single-release Mojo, so obviously that should make up for some of the difference, but are a couple more paint apps really worth a whole $17 more? And again, that's even assuming the two other figures should be $28 each instead of $25, or that Wolverine should be $15 instead of like $12 or $10 (or less). Basically, it's maybe not as egregious as it initially sounded, but things still don't really add up.
  6. honestly I don't even think it did work for the HISS Tank, I think it just funded that fast purely by the nature of GI Joe fans; managing to get the Tactician was simply a byproduct
  7. dude....... that's now how toy production works this is especially stupid because it's not even the first time Hasbro's done one of these waves of reissuing MCU figures
  8. It does also seem to be a new, less orange shade of yellow, maybe a slightly darker shade of brown as well, but yeah, this isn't even the kind of novel that most of these Unlimited exclusives are. Personally, I'll be waiting for a new version of this costume (or any other Daredevil) on the new Vulcan body.
  9. Y'know what's so weird to me? Like, even ignoring the fact the Sunfire body is too short, regarding the problem with the proportions of the body and Firelord looking kinda scrawny on it...... even if they wanted to keep it on this body, they could've easily improved things by giving him the Shang-Chi version of the body with actually substantial shoulders?? Like, I just don't get why they released the Shang-Chi figure in early 2020 with improved larger shoulders that make the mold more proportional, and yet as far as I'm aware despite the many reuses of that body in the two years since, they've never reused the better shoulders. Except maybe for the new Renew Your Vows Spidey?
  10. Hasbro really needs to make a new classic Luke Cage (and Iron Fist to go with him of course), especially with it being his 50th anniversary, and hopefully it's on a newer, slightly smaller, and more proportionate body than the Hyperion body the last couple ones used.
  11. I think it's supposed to be "basically the same", or a soft reboot, where the Netflix shows basically happened, but in a fuzzy way where they can change details as necessary while the broad strokes stay the same
  12. Huh, y'know what? These being great casts and paintjobs aside, this actually makes me feel like (ignoring the fact Ben Reilly should probably be the same actor as Peter Parker since, y'know, clone) Andrew Garfield as a Ben Reilly to Tobey's Peter would work surprisingly well?
  13. Civilization In Shambles As Marvel Publishes Silly Comic
  14. Like I mentioned when Origins Iron Man was revealed, the dark grey spots on the gold limbs really made those parts look way too busy (making the whole figure way too busy), when they should've been relatively simple and less detailed to provide resting areas for the eye, to contrast with the more detailed red parts. So, with those spots now colored the same as the areas they intrude on with this War Machine release, they're significantly less distracting and muddling of the design. Them being there as lines is still a bit much, but still, way better than Origins Iron Man in that respect.
  15. Oooh, that's actually a pretty novel superpower. Sounds like this comic might be fun.
  16. Wait... How is it supposed to be annual both in and out of comics, when the comics move at a much faster timescale?? If this is one year later our time, it's only been a handful of months in-universe since they held the last Gala.
  17. I think part of the problem is they made the eyes too big (specifically too large vertically) and emphasized the jaw a little too much compared to how it is in most of the art. The helmet looks great in art, but this was not the ideal realization of it in physical form.
  18. I feel like one could almost see it as a mistake for them to have gotten his Civil War/Homecoming costume so spot-on to his main classic costume, so that every subsequent attempt to change it up so that kids have to buy the new toy just feels unnecessary, questionable, and somewhat underwhelming and disappointing.
  19. ...Why does it seem to be Silver Centurion armor pieces laid over Mark 41 Bones? I'm just went back and checked this suit-up in the movie and Silver Centurion's underbits didn't really look like Bones, and definitely weren't colored like it.
