  1. Eh, I feel like it's more "this is what clothing actually looks like on breasts" rather than "censorship". If it were """censorship""" they woulda like, made 'em smaller or something. If anything the sculpted stretching of the fabric calls attention to the breasts slightly more than the "painted-on" cleavage sculpt did.
  2. Looking at his arms, he's definitely not on the Vulcan buck, but it seems like he's not on the Sunfire buck either. Not even on BuckyCap. I really can't tell what he's on, going by the pictures he has so far, but I think I can rule out those obvious potential ones.
  3. With the alternate Jess head for Veranke and the Iron Man gauntlet for Super Skrull, this is looking like a pretty nice 2-pack. I just wish they'd've put Veranke on the newer double-elbow version of that mold, limiting this figure to single-elbow unnecessarily is annoying.
  4. Star Wars: The Black Series has always gone for removable helmets over swappable heads, and Marvel Legends during Hasbro's time has always been swappable heads over removable helmets. I hope either this grey or the gold one has some unhelmeted or unmasked helmeted head, but it'll almost definitely be as a separate swappable head.
  5. Come on.... please don't tell me with all this time between reveal and actually being put up for preorder that they didn't even manage to put in double-hinge elbows?? EDIT: also weird that they seem to have put the webbed-pink-patch that's supposed to be on the underside of her upper arm onto the front of the bicep instead for some reason.
  6. Look close at Widow's torso; notice how the abs themselves seem to be at a different angle compared to the pelvis, implying she's got the waist-hinge/rib-diaphragm combo that Retro/RYV Spidey or pretty much all Power Rangers Lightning Collection figures have. In addition, look near the shoulders; she has butterfly joints. Combine all that with the more obvious double-elbows, and yeah, she's definitely up there with Retro Spidey in being fairly super-articulated by Legends standards. Only other joints I can think of that she could hypothetically have but doesn't would be toe hinge and drop-down hips like RYV Spidey. EDIT: oh, and shin-/ankle-swivel, she's missing that too.
  7. Look close at the torso: she's got that hinge-at-waist, diaphragm-joint-at-ribs combo that gives a ton of torso movement, as well as butterfly joints.
  8. Actually, having looked real close between Shang-Chi and a normal Sunfire-body release, the whole arm on Shang-Chi is different, not just the shoulder; the differences beyond the noticeable "much bigger and more proportionate shoulder" are subtle, but definitely there. Most of the rest of the figure is Sunfire though, of course.
  9. I'm sure the stupid, dangerous "abstaining from water for a day prior to get "better" muscle definition on the day of filming and then doing those growls and yells while severely dehydrated" part didn't help matters.
  10. This new Forge is on the Vulcan body, so none of the leg can possibly be shared with the prior one that was on the Bucky Cap body simply because it wouldn't be quite the right size.
  11. Nah, if you look real close at the image you can make out an elbow hinge slot on the bottom of the right upper arm, and on the left arm you can just barely make out a hint of bicep swivel.
  12. Huh, interesting that their Spidey 2.0 wouldn't be another go at the straightforward classic costume but instead is based on the Alex Ross ANAD costume/Spider-Armor Mk. 4. Looks good though, another further step on Revoltech's recent path of "refining their figures and improving the proportions and ability to achieve more natural-looking neutral poses and whatnot while maintaining the same level of extreme poseability".
  13. Iunno, personally I'm rather liking the way DD looks on this body. I feel like Vulcan would be a touch too bulky for my mental image of DD, and while this body isn't as bulky as the upper end of my mental image, it still feels fitting.
  14. Man, it is both a blessing and a curse that these ThreeZero Iron Men are too large for even Marvel Legends' "on the tall side of" 1/12 scale. A curse because it would be really cool to have these awesome figures seamlessly blend into my other collections, but that itself is also a blessing because it allows me to far more easily not buy these and spare my wallet from hundreds of dollars of these things.
  15. I kinda would've preferred that they made a whole new beefy/curvy body to replace this one entirely, since the hips were always an annoyance articulation-wise on it and it doesn't seem they've fixed it with this new update, but I am still glad they're bringing it back and breathing new life into it with the double elbows, to bring a little more body variation back to the female figures and help the body keep with the times better.
  16. I am liking how this new buck fits Cyclops, and am hoping they can get to updating other versions of him onto this body soon. Especially hoping for a new classic costume, I think that'd look stellar on this body.
  17. Eh, Surfer's only 6'4". He needs to be taller than like Grim Reaper and Spider-UK bodies, sure, but not Hyperion tall. That hypothetical new body should be more somewhere in between the two in height.
  18. This new Wonder Man is on a version of the body introduced with Red Skull and Dormammu in the Xemnu wave, so unless the new torso substantially adds or removes height (which I'm doubting), this new Wonder Man should be pretty much the same height as the last version which was on the Grim Reaper body. I just stood Red Skull next to Red Guardian to check and both bodies are pretty much the same height.
  19. Aw man, that Animated Symbiote Spidey is on the Renew Your Vows Spidey body, now i've gotta add my Retro Symbiote Spidey to the big lot of Legends I'm gonna sell soon. EDIT: wait..... it looks like despite otherwise using the Renew Your Vows Spidey body, with the pinless elbows and knees, the toe hinge, etc., it's reverted back to the wimpy lil too-small shoulders of the previous Retro Spidey/Sunfire bodies???????? Ok I may be able to skip in that case EDIT 2: ok actually I just realized the shoulder shape is wrong for it to be the old wimpy shoulders, so I think it is actually the bigger shoulders of the Renew Your Vows Spidey body, and just the arms being turned inward made the bicep bulge make the shoulder look smaller. May have to get him....
  20. I like that they at least tweaked the colors some, but yeah, this isn't much to write home about, just a neat little refresh of the ol' exclusive for those who didn't get it. Still waiting on a newer version on the RYV Spidey body now that they've decided that's the new body for Daredevil, hopefully with a little more unique sculpting to possibly separate the unitard thing from the overall suit, maybe give it some texture; or at the very least hopefully they'll make it a very deep red instead of brown.
  21. I think you're really discounting the big factor of the fact Hasbro has to convince retailers to buy these, and so in addition to what Hasbro thinks will and won't, might and might not sell, there's also a huge deal of what the retailers think will/might and won't/mightn't sell, in addition to just the retailers' own whims. Most likely, having the waves be separately themed is what has allowed them to put multiple waves of Legends on the shelf on separate pegs at the same time as they're considered different assortments, different products; removing the theming from waves may allow retailers to be like "hmm, do you really need all these pegs, all this space for this one toyline?" and collapse the space allowed for Marvel Legends down some, especially with how small they're making toy sections already.
  22. The face sculpts and printing look absolutely wonderful, and the figure overall does look great.... just still not $30 great. Especially Classic Power-Man and Iron Fist, those are INSANELY overdue. I think now we've got a better Big body to put Luke on; the Hercules body would give him the right bulk and height without having the proportions of the Hyperion body or its more recent variants, which I think is still a good body but ill-fitting for Luke. For Danny though.... would he be better on the Renew Your Vows Spidey body, or would he be a good fit for that version of the Sunfire body they made for Shang-Chi that had slightly more muscular arms and (especially) bigger shoulders that fix the proportions of the body, that for some reason they never used after Shang-Chi?
  23. I do wish they'd included the Deluxe/Retro War Machine helmet headsculpt as well for some options, but otherwise this looks quite good and fits as an MvC War Machine quite well.
