  1. I'm admittedly a bit torn on this wave. It has a ton of characters that I want as a completionist; but given that Havok's accessory is being shown and no one else's are, I have to assume that everyone is coming with nil. Which is a bit of a massive bummer for Siryn and Vulcan. This is a wait and see scenario for me, if the price keeps climbing, but the number of extras decreases (While McFarlane and NECA remain relatively steady at their price-points), then I might end up taking a break from collecting.
  2. This is why I'm skeptical about the upcoming Siryn; if she doesn't ship with a screaming head (and inevitably 37 hands, so they can say they gave us accessories), then I'm going to pass on it. I'll just wait and buy the inevitable re-release. This is getting a little too common for my liking.
  3. Just in my opinion, Gwen's death has meant next to nothing since Spider-Gwen entered the 616
  4. I don't hate the new look, but it follows the trend of modern comic costumes that I despise. They almost try too hard to make it look realistic, or believable. The weird trend of characters in hoodies is annoying, and needs to go. Either over-designed, weird mash up of MCU style and comic style or stuff like this; yuck. These are comic books, let them just wear dorky spandex (T-bird's original costume was already perfect). I do like his new haircut though, it sets him apart more from his brother. Not a fan of the cover, it's almost 90s bad (though the art itself is actually good!). Either way, I'll read this, love me some X-Men
  5. I'm excited for these, but I really hope that Siryn has an alternate head (she won't, so it can be sold to us later, but still), and Vulcan had better have some energy effects; even the ones they've reused 18 million times would suffice.
  6. Honestly, and this is a bit of a random thing and it's totally not a great business move, but, I would love to see Pulse exclusives be sort of "made-to-order", so to speak. Basically, so they technically can't sell out, at least for army builders.
  7. 10- Demolition Man (classic) 9- Avalanche 8- Porcupine (classic) 7- Surge/Armor/Pixie (Really need some representation from this era of X-Men) 6- Marrina Smallwood 5- Namorita 4- Two Gun Kid 3- Swordsman (classic) 2- Devil Dinosaur (Throw in Moon-Boy and Moon-Girl, and I'm sold) 1- Justice Honorable mentions to the rest of the Runaways (once they actually got costumes/aliases) and Crystal
  8. I'm looking for Hasbro to reissue the Riders Ghost Rider in a Toybiz style retro card, as for whether it comes with the bike or not, who knows. What about a Ghost Rider wave with a build-a-cycle?
  9. More accessories. ML has fallen behind Lightning Collection, Classified series, and now the Hasbro Fortnite figures in terms of accessories. Female characters who don't all look the exact same, be that body mold or the headsculpt. (Please make the Asian characters actually looks Asian, for example)
  10. When they said "less plastic", I assumed that, eventually, all figures would start coming in the army builder style boxes, with the figure maybe in a foam tray. (It's not foam that I'm thinking of, closer to just fluff, I guess?)
  11. Best Accessory- Snapping Infinity Gauntlet Best Package- Deluxe Thanos Best Wave- Iron Man Ursa Major Best BAF- Ursa Major Best Deluxe- Infinity Gauntlet Thanos
  12. I, unfortunately, missed this one. It sold out the day before I got paid haha. Looks great though, really love the Domino
  13. My problem with this mold is that it was originally made for a teenage character, so Kate Bishop is too big and most characters on the mold are too small. Most of my issues with warped or wobbly joints have been on this body mold
  14. I really hope that we get a Lionheart one day. I'm not even familiar with the character, but her design is perfect. So toyetic
  15. I've not seen the film yet, but regardless if it's good or not. The MCU tried something that is a bit different for a change, that's awesome! Plus, we got a freaking Eternals movie! That wouldn't have been possible 15, or even 10, years ago. What's it matter how "woke" it is, it's an Eternals movie and that fact alone, makes me want to see the movie. I think that we, as comic fans, should go see the movie in droves, that way Marvel Studios will continue to put out works that have a different feel to them. (The punch-quip-punch formula grew stale a few years ago now).
  16. Given the way video games work now, I imagine some characters might be included as DLC (Nightcrawler, Morbius, Paste-Pot Pete, etc.)
  17. Just a quick thread; it dawned on me that after Armadillo, all we know about are exclusives and multipacks- at least until D'Spayre (presumably in the Dr. Strange wave). I imagine that they'll have a wave in Feb-March, especially if the DS wave ends up being pushed to closer to the movies release. Do you think any waves will drop between Armadillo and whenever the DS wave is?
  18. Because if Marvel did introduce a totally new and diverse character, then people would STILL complain and talk about how manga outsells comics (which they are, but not because of what colour a fictional character is) or how comics are failing (which they aren't). You don't have to read this "SJW Woke" comic, it might not be meant for you, which is okay. If the new Iron Fist is South Asian, then some little kid in Nepal could pick up an Iron Fist comic (or read it online) and see themselves in this universe and fall in love with comics; just like we all did when we were kids. That's why diversity in comics is important. Is Marvel really bad at diversity? Yeah, generally. But that doesn't mean that diverse characters shouldn't be included, it's comics, it's something for everyone.
  19. I'm excited for a new take on the character; superheroes should be allowed to retire. This allows for new stories to be told from a different perspective. Obviously, Danny will be back (don't get your knickers in a twist over a fictional character).
  20. Yo, I love those effects for Blizzard! Where'd you get those?
  21. Today, at Pulse Con, Hasbro announced that a new body mold (starting with Vulcan) will be replacing the Bucky Cap mold. The BC is probably the most prolific of all of the Marvel Legends body molds. With that being said, what were/are the greatest figures released on that mold? What are the worst?
  22. Am I crazy, or did Hasbro change one of their questions? I don't recall the Comic-Con question being one of their teasers. Either way, I'm 50/50 for most of these. D'Spayre looks cool, the anniversary line is meh (looking forward to Toad selling out in .26 seconds), Vulcan and Knull both look pretty good. I'm curious to see how well they'll execute Maggot, I can pass on the repaints and I don't do MCU stuff. Zemo though; looks awesome. I get that it's a business and Hasbro are paid to have exclusives with retailers, but some Walgreens just don't stock anything, and you can't order the figures online. It'll be 20 bucks in store, if you can find it, and 40+ on eBay. Same reason I don't have Nova, or Moon Knight, or Quasar, I'm not going to pay double (or triple!) the price for a figure that's already barely worth the asking price. I really hope Walgreens gets stuff sorted out, and online orders can resume; either that, or at least offer them on Pulse.
  23. Probably not, at least for most of the male figures. The joints on female figures tend to be the ones that I have trouble with; so for them, it's a maybe. I imagine that the Nova/Shriek body will become the new standard for the ladies in the future.
