Slowly but surely we have seen a ton of improvement, it makes me excited for the future of the line. With the new reveals and the new ways Hasbro has improved sculpting and painting, its definitely a giant step in the right direction.

Spiderman far from home wave build a figure
Double0Joe27 replied to Theothetaco's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Its most likely a surprise character from the movie, I originally thought it was going to be Hydroman, kind of like how they did Sandman with his effect parts. Its really cool that Hydroman is going to be a single carded figure. But my guess its a secret from the movie. There's rumors of a movie Mysterio being the 7th figure in this wave too, but they haven't revealed him either -
Custom Marvel Legends Marvel NOW! Magneto

This should have been the version we got in the Apocalypse wave, it looks stunning! Well Done! -
The recent Vintage lines of Marvel Legends have in my opinion been very underrated and still have so much potential to expand in the future. It’s a great way for us all to receive classic versions of each of our favorite characters, and also a way to rerelease some characters that have been increasingly harder to come by, like Wolverine (brown and yellow), Scarlet Spider and Pizza Spider-Man. My ideal vintage wave would be: Iron Fist in his classic costume Silver Centurion Iron Man Classic Dr Strange A re-release of Jim Lee Cyclops (added optic accessories) Ultron And a re-release of Hobgoblin or Green Goblin I feel these guys would look great in that classic packaging and would be great additions to anyone’s collection! What do you think? Who’d be in you’re ideal Vintage wave, and what do you think of the idea of a Vintage Wave in general?

3 3/4" sighting and hauls

Yeah I had a pretty large collection myself, and I guess it only makes sense for that transition back to 6 in to occur. But it’s just a shame cause some characters I wanted to add to my 3 3/4 in collection got the short end of the stick like Sandman, Doc Ock, Classic Beast, Vulture and Shocker. -
Captain Marvel - A Waste of Plastic
Double0Joe27 replied to jasonmccarley's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
The character selection for this wave was just lackluster altogether. The movie figs were just ok, the normal Captain Marvel being my personal favorite, and Talos left much to be desired. I don’t even remember if Cap wore the bomber jacket with her suit on in the film. All the other captain marvel figures, except for the Starforce one due to its new paint job, are literally the same figure with new accessories. I know it’s a stretch but it would have been better (and probably cheaper too) if she just came packaged with all of those various accessories like her binary powers and the jacket. That way the roster could still be filled with better characters (like ahem an original Ms Marvel or comic Mar-Vell). Also wasn’t a fan of the Kree sentry, kinda scraping the bottom of the barrel with that idea in my opinion. -
Honestly DC characters with Marvel legends style articulation are way overdue, Mattel was starting to take a step in the right direction, but everything just seemed not quite right. Their latest Shazam figure was actually the closest thing we’ll probably see to a DC styled marvel legends, but let’s see what the future of the line holds.

3 3/4" sighting and hauls
Double0Joe27 replied to thedevilsdue06's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
I remember back when Marvel Universe was actually starting to produce really good quality figures, I know 3 3/4 in is usually frowned upon but some of these figs were actually awesome. It’s kind of a shame the series took a big step backwards as Hasbro focused more and more on 6 in scale -
Fantastic Four cause honestly there’s so much potential and it’s been wasted time and time again

marvel legends The Most Dissapointing action figure
Double0Joe27 replied to Raufito's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Honestly one of my least favorites was the Man Thing wave Electra, I love the Daredevil series and basically every other figure of that wave, but idk she just looks so bland and boring and I literally only bought her for the BAF piece. The worst thing anything can be is forgettable, and to me she’s just a waste of plastic -
