[Inquiry: Sanding and priming tips]

Any tip on how to easily be able to open bottles of Model Master paints? I have a set I use but after I use them a couple times, its like they get stuck and it takes an act of God to open the bottle again.

[Sara Lance Black Canary]

I wanted something simple as I dip my toes into customizing waters so I went with something that was low on paint, high on kitbashing and it was easy to think of Sara Lance from Arrow. I love the character from Arrow and on into Legends of Tomorrow. She is the one true Canary for me.

So I wanted a figure because I absolutely haaaaaaaaate that 7-inch scale one.

Originally done with a Netflix Jessica Jones body with a Mockingbird head, I did not like my paint job on her torso so I started looking for corseted torsos. When I looked at the MCU Scarlet Witch figure I knew I needed the torso for that corset, so I popped the arms off the Netflix Jessica Jones and put them on the SW torso and painted the hair and a mask on the face. I may swap out hands for ones that can hold a bo staff.

 

Nothing special, some of the work I have seen people do is nothing short of incredible. I just wanna do halfway decent. Currenly working on a version 2 of a Warpath custom.
