Not sure about the rest of the figure, but the texture on The Hood's cloak is beautiful. Its details like that that impress me. That can make or break a whole figure.

I had to watch the video to figure out what the hell that last picture was from. Fun review, thank you. It always makes me like a figure a little bit more when I see somebody actually handling it and posing it; or even better, actually playing with it.

And why is he the Variant if there are literally infinite versions of him? Is one of him somehow the "main" him, and is one timeline in the MCU the "main" timeline? I think Marvel really opened up a can of worms with the whole time travel thing. I don't see any way they don't break the rules they've previously established.
Not that it won't be a good show, but I think they set themselves up to shoot themselves in the foot here.
I always assumed we'd be given a backstory explaining how Loki has damaged the time stream(s) outside of just what we've seen in the MCU, and his 'job' throughout the series will essentially be going back and restoring the events to eliminate the alternate timelines they created. Basically what Cap does at the end of Endgame.

That's epic. They always go all out with these. Something about 1:12 fabric clothing always catches me off guard, but it implies such a higher attention to detail.

I'm thrilled all of these are gonna be released, but I gotta say, it just so happens I don't think I'll personally be picking up many of them. Which worries me about the store exclusives because those'll probably be the ones I want most.

I'd bet pretty much everybody has seen the entirety of the Eternals wave by now. They'll need a whole day to officially reveal all 8 or 9 of them when they decide to do it.

Regardless of the backstory in the comics (which I won't pretend to be aware of), I thought this was a cool looking figure when they revealed it. Nice pics.

We all saw the Elmer Fudd cartoon when we were kids. You don't just GET more money, you provide improved goods and services for it.
I get where you're coming from, but this sounds like a simple case of supply and demand. I get the impression they don't want to drive away customers and have put this off as long as they could, but I believe them when they say that Covid has probably put a dent in their operations.

Unfortunate, but fair. Maybe its just me, but two or three dollars per figure doesn't get me nearly as upset as what scalpers put them up for. That entire Disney+ wave is already up for "preorder" on ebay for twice this price. I swear to God I'd go to prison for life if I could my hands on a scalper.

I had no idea this even existed, but its funny to think where this character's mythology has gone and how ridiculously far its grown since Stan Lee wrote a comic about a boy who could climb up walls.
