  1. Quasar also came back briefly last week before going out-of-stock again.
  2. Ordered him at 11 AM and got an email that it shipped to the store at 2:30 PM. This is such a relief and I really, truly hope that this level of service continues. Walgreens exclusives being reliably available is way, way more convenient for me than almost every other kind of store exclusive, so I'm happy. I know that every time the Hasbro guys mentioned Walgreens exclusives for the past year or two, it was met with chuckles of depressed defeat from a lot of us, believing we'd likely never see that figure in stores. A lot of folks called for Hasbro to end their contract with Walgreens. I never wanted that; I just wanted Walgreens to hold up their end of the deal, which they finally are starting to do again. Now I just want to know who's coming up after Jigsaw (I haven't decided if I'm getting him or not).
  3. My first thought about the teaser was Daredevil's stick, and Ryan actually name-dropped Daredevil during the event in regards to the old Toy Biz Marvel Universe line from 1991. I'm sad that these waves are getting smaller, but I love this quartet. Black Widow looks... okay. Honestly, none of the women in this line look that good, but her face is better than Sue and Electra's. Green Goblin looks awesome. I have a feeling the new sculpts for Thor and Thing are why we didn't get more figures this time.
  4. After ten years in the MCU, seeing this figure is the first time I realized Renner's Clint Barton is left handed. Weird that I never noticed it all the times I watched the movies and shows.
  5. Dan said it's an online exclusive. That could change but I wouldn't wait for it. In the meantime: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Marvel-Legends-Doctor-Strange-Classic-Comics-Action-Figure-Walmart-Exclusive/149505613?athbdg=L1100
  6. Dan Yun said it's an online exclusive only at this point and that he'll try to let us know when it's available again this spring.
  7. Same one I use for Spidey, I just tilted it up and spread the clamp so it's pushing against the cape. Since the cape isn't removable, the figure is more or less "resting" on the stand.
  8. If anyone is interested, Dorkside Toys has a sale going right now. The retro-carded Fantastic Four are on sale (the whole wave of six for about $100) as well as The Eternals and a few others. https://dorksidetoys.com/collections/sale?page=5
  9. Nope, I don't really care for either of them. The Mafex one in particular, I think the jacket and hair are pretty bad.
  10. My favorite Thor villain. Very excited to order this one. And while I'm not the biggest Walmart fan, I have to admit this Collector Con should have a couple action figures I badly want.
  11. Hasbro needs to hurry up and re-release the Super-Skrull as a deluxe or on the retro-FF card. They can repaint the face to be the same shade of green while they're at it.
  12. I understand the sentiment of that, but only five of the Skrulls in that group shot are the troop builder infiltrators. The others are on the Paladin body using the interchangeable head from the infiltrators. But yeah, hopefully they'll be made available again.
  13. Okay, my hot take. Hasbro...ToyBiz...Mafex...whatever: There has never been a good-looking Gambit action figure.
  14. To me, Quasar's chin and jawline look a little too strong and big for a character that I've always thought should have a youthful somewhat boyish energy.
  15. Retro-carded Scarlet Witch arrived today. I love it! This head/face sculpt that debuted with the Family Values 3-Pack was immediately one of my all-time favorites, but the monochrome dark outfit was a real bummer for me. So happy to have a corrected version in the collection.
  16. Nice! Love the '90s Midnight Suns era Blade. And yes, once we finish the New Warriors, they need somebody to fight so bring on Midnight's Fire!
  17. I think this movie sounds like one of the most misguided, tone-deaf unforced errors you could imagine. Kraven as the hero is as lousy a concept as when Warner Bros. wanted to make Doctor Light the villain of the Flashpoint movie after DC Comics established Doctor Light was a rapist. This is just dumb. There is nothing sympathetic or heroic about a protagonist whose life is hunting and murdering animals in their natural habitat and then decorating his home and clothes in their hides. There was a time when safari and big game hunting held a sort of romantic allure in popular culture, but the wind has changed harshly. Most people find that practice vile and gross and inhumane.
