I agree. I don't like the cell-shading animated style deco on the X-Men line. I also didn't like the retro-card Venom with the blue and red accents. I don't think they look bad, but to me they clash with the regular Marvel Legends just as much as the MCU figures clash with normal comic figs.

Last year, when they talked about the HasLab Galactus, they said there would be at least one more figure this year to go along with Galactus. We all speculated that meant one or more heralds, with the consensus being Herald Thor and/or Firelord. Now that we've gotten confirmation on Thor: Herald of Galactus, do we still think there is a chance of Firelord coming this year, or is that a pipe dream?

I think I'll get two Quake figures for the head swaps. Then I'll have Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Quake, Agent 13, and four male S.H.l.E.L.D. agents. That will be quite the little squad to display.

Could the chemical beaker tease be for the rumored/leaked Lizard figure?

I'm happy that I totally called Quake would have swappable Maria Hill head so you can troop-build female S.H.l.E.L.D. agents. Very happy with the Controller wave. I really didn't need that Iron Man, so it's nice to see he doesn't include a BAF piece, which means I can skip him. Will definitely order the rest of the wave and Rhino tomorrow. Rhino looks terrific.

Yes, in the animated series the black symbiote came to Earth when it attached to a space shuttle piloted by John Jamison. The shuttle crashed on... one of the many New York bridges, I can't remember which one. Spidey rescued the flight crew and that's where the symbiote attached to him. (I'm pretty sure a similar origin was contrived for Spider-Man 3, although it's been so long since I watched it I honestly don't remember).

I'm the opposite; I hope they go further back for his next figure.

I only skipped Binary because I have no intention of getting her, but it's only February. Binary could go up on the Walgreens site in July or August and Zemo by the holidays.

Five little Skrull infiltrators and two sets of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents arrived today.

Had him ready to order and after all this time I realized... I don't really want this version of Quasar. No FOMO this time. I guess this is what we can expect, Walgreens exclusives to go up on the website nine months after they're supposed to be in stores. I guess we can hope to get Baron Zemo for Christmas now.

Yeah, honestly, I don't think I would want anything but the classic green and white design. I can't say I've always yearned for a comic accurate Yon-Rogg.

Yeah, the singles are fine as long as the figure doesn't need any individual personalization, like the A.I.M. trooper. But the S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents have five different head options, and if those are sold individually, well, if you want to buy four or six troops, that's.... that's a lot of extra heads going to waste. I'll be curious to see how they approach the Kree trooper because they have multiple skin tones. They could also have an unmasked head for classic Mar-Vell. Would that troop builder be better as a two-pack? What about a Nova Corps troop builder multipack with the same generic body but three or four different alien heads wearing the helmet? But a Brood alien or Ultron drone are identical so they still work as singles.

The price point for Beast is disappointing if true, because I don't want a repaint of the Beasts we've already got; I'd prefer one scaled down to resemble the way he looked on the Avengers.

Got an email from Pulse that my S.H.I.E.L.D. two-packs (I ordered two) are shipping soon.

Found the entire retro-card Spider-Man wave at a Walmart today. Picked up everyone except for Armored Spider-Man and canceled my Pulse pre-orders.

Oh, I know. But the anticipation of the future price increases bummed me out enough to tweak my financial projections.

I canceled five pre-orders from Hasbro Pulse yesterday in anticipation of the new price hike. Even though the figures I had pre-ordered weren't at the $24.99 point, that's a threshold for me where I'm going to be way more selective about getting the figures I really want vs. the ones that look cool. Translation: adios, Sleepwalker! And I very much doubt I'll get Havoc and Sabretooth from the upcoming X-Men wave like I had planned.

I have 19 Marvel Legends pre-ordered from Hasbro Pulse that I'm still waiting on. I am fine with them holding off on additional pre-orders until they can push the guys I've already ordered out of the warehouse.

Never liked this costume but it is a good looking figure, so the people who want it should be pretty happy.

I'm pretty sure the retro-carded Invisible Woman's face was based on an Adam Hughes cover for INVISIBLE WOMAN #1. And that worked out perfectly with nobody complaining at all.

I pre-ordered Doctor Strange from Walmart's website and my account currently says it should arrive Thursday, March 3rd.

The digital render of the figures looks a little weird to me, but I see what they're doing and it's cool. I would get Moondragon, Mephisto, and Werewolf by Night from this set.
