  1. I've got a Hot Wheels version of Robbie's Ghost Rider Charger, but I don't think the scale works. 😉 And if they were willing to go with car-sized vehicles, I would be all over the Spider-Mobile. And hey, the very first Fantasticar was basically just a flying bathtub. Not all that big. Thank you! I thought I might've forgotten one but wasn't sure.
  2. So far we've seen Ghost Rider, Black Widow, Logan, Professor X, and Deadpool, and next year we'll get Cosmic Ghost Rider and Squirrel Girl. What other characters/concepts would you like to see incorporated into the Riders series of Marvel Legends? I leaned away from the motorcycles for a little bit but keeping the personal scale of the "vehicle" and these were some I came up with: Valkyrie and Aragorn (her winged horse) My preference would be a classic version of Valkyrie from THE DEFENDERS comics, but Hasbro could make this an M.C.U. figure. Nightmare and his horse (all black with red eyes) If the rumors are true that Nightmare will appear in DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS, it might be good timing to get a Nightmare figure. [ Avenger ] with Skycycle Mostly associated with Hawkeye, but could also come with an updated Black Knight from the brown leather jacket era But my personal favorite, and this would have to be a deluxe Riders set... Thor and Toothgrinder & Toothgnasher Thor's space-faring chariot pulled by mystical goats!!! What do you think? Are there other vehicles/mounts that you would like to see for the ML Riders series?
  3. My first choice for a new Kitty Pryde would be a classic version in her New Mutants-style costume, but very close behind is her blue Excalibur look. I also really want them to redo Captain Britain; either the Alan Davis-designed Excalibur costume or his original Marvel UK look.
  4. I probably won't get any figures from the AoA wave(s), but I always really liked that version of Angel.
  5. That would be a good option, too. Or... just thought of this, the Mindless Ones from Doctor Strange.
  6. I love this idea! Villain wave: Brood BAF Hydra soldier A.I.M. soldier Hand ninja Skrull soldier Kree soldier Humanoid (pink robots created by the Leader) Hellfire Club soldier
  7. In my fantasy world of Thor waves, these are all based on the comics, not the MCU. THOR wave 1: Destroyer BAF Thor (like the 80th anniversary figure but with a beard and helmet that covers half his face) Beta Ray Bill (Simonson design) Lady Sif The Executioner Odin (Kirby-style) Seth THOR wave 2: Volstagg BAF Thunderstrike Fandral the Dashing Hogun the Grim Hela The Wrecker Hildegarde THOR wave 3: Ulik BAF (yeah, just re-use the SDCC exclusive since I never got him) Thor (modern version from "War of the Realms" arc) Balder the Brave Karnilla the Norn Queen Heimdell Hercules (classic) Gor Riders series Valkyrie with Aragorn
  8. I was referring to the Marvel Legends, both the BAF and 80th anniversary versions. I know in some comics the artist has taken a more stylized approach to the character making him inhumanly large, but I tend to picture him from the '70s and '80s comics. In my mind, I guess, he's comparable to the size of the Walgreens exclusive Thing; he shouldn't be bigger than the Hulk or the Abomination.
  9. I assume I'm in the minority here, but am I the only one who thinks Juggernaut is comically oversized?
  10. I went with Banshee and Thunderbird, Doctor Strange and Baron Mordo, Hank Pym and Ultron, and Swordsman and Mantis. Pretty easy choices, but I could swap out any of them for some of the army builder sets in this list. Very tempting options.
  11. I can't imagine they're eager to put the words "Doctor BONG" on any packaging.
  12. For truly large-scale figures, I would rather Hasbro just release them as special deluxe figures like they're doing with the new MCU Giant Man, or like they did with the "Days of Future Past" Sentinel and Wolverine set. Instead of asking collectors to buy 12-14 figures in order to build a Galactus, just release him as a special set for $100 or $120 bucks (and feel free to include one of his heralds, like a reissued Silver Surfer or Firelord or Terrax. I've got over 70 Marvel Legends at this point and I have yet to complete a single build-a-figure because I don't buy complete waves because I don't like every character in each wave--except for the first two vintage waves, which, ironically, didn't come with BAF parts. I would love for Hasbro to release some taller/bigger figures, like Galactus, Mephisto, M.O.D.O.K., Giant-Man, Black Goliath, the Watcher, etc. on their own, without having to get a X-Force gray Deadpool or something.
  13. I didn't include Doctor Doom in this because Hasbro is already releasing a pretty great-looking version pretty soon. I wouldn't be opposed to them re-releasing any of the Walgreens exclusive FF figures, or the Klaw that came in the 2-pack with Black Panther, but for my lists I tried to go with figures that we haven't seen in the latest iteration of Marvel Legends. Fantastic Four wave 1: Annihilus Build-a-Figure Invisible Woman (blue & white costume from the Byrne era) Human Torch (classic version, as mentioned above, no '4') Bag-Man (Spider-Man in FF costume with paper bag over head) Blastaar Wizard Puppet Master Invisible Woman variant (completely translucent) Fantastic Four wave 2: Awesome Android Build-a-Figure Mr. Fantastic (blue & white costume from the Byrne era, stretchable arms and torso) She-Hulk Ben Grimm (un-Thinged, classic blue costume) Super-Skrull Mad Thinker Terrax Mole Man (4 inches tall, comes with two Moloids roughly the size and build of a 3 3/4 inch Marvel Universe figure; no BAF part) Fantastic Four wave 4: Dragon Man Build-a-Figure The Thing (trench coat and hat) Johnny Storm (flamed-off, classic blue costume, flame effect accessories) Crystal (classic yellow costume) Impossible Man Ronan the Accuser Red Ghost (comes with one of his super-apes) Super-Apes (the other, larger two of Red Ghost's pets) Deluxe 20-inch Galactus plus Firelord set (similar to the "Days of Future Past" Sentinel/Wolverine set)
  14. I'm really excited to get Shang-Chi and Vulture from this wave. White Rabbit is a maybe; I'll probably wait until I can hold the package in hand and impulse buy, like I did with Genis-Vel.
  15. Stopped by Walgreens today and picked up Mystique, as well as Agent 13 from the Onslaught wave, for $13.99 each. Nice sale!
  16. Captain America and The Falcon wave 1 1. Captain America 2. Falcon (original green costume) & Redwing 3. Black Widow (gray costume, short hair) 4. Red Skull 5. Flag Smasher 6. Diamondback (includes interchangeable head for Cottonmouth figure with his mouth open and jaw unhooked) 7. Arnim Zola (build-a-figure) Captain America and The Falcon wave 2 1. Captain America (WWII) 2. Falcon (classic red and white costume, wings) 3. Bucky 4. Baron Heinrich Zemo 5. Viper (male version) 6. Crossbones 7. Spitfire 8. Anaconda (build-a-figure) Rider series ”Reb Brown” Captain America ;)
  17. I have about sixty Marvel legends figures, but I haven’t completed a single wave nor assembled a single build-a-figure. Most waves I’ve seen only have two or three figures I want (sometimes less) and I won’t spend $20-25 on a toy I don’t want just to get Sandman’s arm.
  18. Incredible Hulk Wave 1 (Bi-Beast BAF) 1. The Hulk 2. Bruce Banner 3. General “Thunderbolt” Ross 4. Leader 5. Vapor 6. X-Ray 7. Humanoid (Leader’s minion) - no BAF piece 8. Bi-Beast build-a-figure Incredible Hulk Wave 2 (Xemnu BAF) 1. Joe Fixit (Gray Hulk in gangster suit) 2. She-Hulk 3. Doc Samson 4. Zzzax 5. Vector 6. Ironclad 7. Rick Jones - no BAF piece 8. Xemnu build-a-figure
  19. Black Panther was great, but didn't deserve to win Best Picture of the year. On the other hand, neither did the movie that actually did win. I'm thrilled for the awards these two movies picked up, but I think Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse should've been in contention for Best Picture, not just Best Animated Picture.
  20. At this point, the "obscure" characters I want are from Marvel's '70s horror books. Hell, they could make a whole wave of them. Dracula (from Tomb of Dracula) The Werewolf (from Werewolf by Night) Blade (first appearance) N'Kantu, the Living Mummy Satanna Brother Voodoo (classic) Monster of Frankenstein (build-a-figure)
  21. If we're really talking about filling out Spider-Man's rogues gallery, where is the Hypno-Hustler figure?
  22. After what’s been announced/revealed at Toy Fair, my most wanted Marvel Legends are iconic/classic comic versions of Falcon Doctor Strange Captain Marvel (Monica) She-Hulk (either “Savage” first appearance or “Sensational” Byrne version) Hercules Adam Warlock Gamora Coleen Wing Yellowjacket Tigra Shang Chi War Machine Brother Voodoo Kitty Pryde Banshee (green and yellow) Doctor Doom Ultron Kang Galactus (gotta be at least 30 inches tall, sorry) Mole Man Annihilus Red Skull Baron Zemo Executioner Ulik the Troll M.O.D.O.K. Crimson Dynamo Mephisto Nightmare (on his black horse / Riders-series) Attuma
