  1. Another year another complete lack of interest in anything Hasbro has to offer on Marvel Legends. Maybe one day we will get a stand alone Thor comic wave.
  2. I’m very excited to be getting a new Thor. However, Thor’s universe is the most under represented in the Legends line. We need Odin Balder Heimdall The Warriors Three Executioner Destroyer Mangog Karnilla and many more.
  3. This is the most disappointed I have ever been in a Marvel Legends wave (and that is saying something). Thor is my favorite comic character. Thor and his characters are probably the most under represented in all of Marvel Legends. This wave will be pointed to by the Hasbro team as (we gave you Thor figures) but we are getting zero comic figures, 2 Guardians of the Galaxy figures and a BAF that I can’t imagine very many people are clamoring over. A straight MCU wave is very very disappointing! Just like the current Dr. Strange wave I think this will be clogging pegs for a while. For me Legends are getting easier and easier to pass on because of the terrible character selection. I know they have their fans but I’m sorry, MCU figures just don’t sell as well and the proof is at every single Wal Mart and Target.
  4. I wonder if this wave peg warms does the Hasbro team start to second guess so many MCU figures. Shang Chi, Disney + and the Eternals just did not move off of shelves last year. Honestly we have a lot of MCU Dr. Strange figures, Dr. Strange isn’t an A lister like Iron Man or Cap and there is no comic BAF to anchor this line. I could easily see this wave not moving.
  5. What a lazy way to reuse that excellent Thor buck!!!! We need Thor in some other costumes but instead we get the exact same figure with a couple of heads and hands. When the Legends team wants to knock it out of the park they sure can, but they also love to be lazy on a lot of releases.
  6. It’s like the Hasbro team can’t help themselves. How many people are actually going to use this instead of the Galactus head? What a waste! Firelord was a no brainer here but instead the Hasbro team thought “what is the most useless thing we can give the fans?”
  7. I’m sick of comic based figures being the BAF to MCU waves. I’m fine with MCU figures but give them MCU BAFs. If their sales are as strong as comic based figures then make straight MCU waves. I have to buy six figures that I have zero interest in to get Armadillo just like I had to do with the Mr. Hyde BAF! Make MCU waves with MCU BAFs and make comic waves with comic BAFs!
  8. So 14,000 backs it, and 16,000 gets the first tier; does that mean it takes 18,000 to get tier 2 and 20,000 to get tier 3? Hasbro just isn’t being realistic here!
  9. The Q&A session was a complete waste of time. Hasbro doesn’t need to do that ever again. If they are going to make a wave for every movie and every Disney+ show where are they going to fit in comic characters? I can’t believe we got that Dr. Strange when we so desperately need a classic Dr. Strange.
  10. Geez, who is in charge of character selection at Hasbro? This is about to warm already clogged pegs full of Civil Warrior, Katy, Peter B Parker and the upcoming Eternals wave.
  11. That Hercules is pretty close to perfect!! Now they need to go back and make a classic costume Beta Ray Bill.
  12. A great looking and much wanted BAF in a legendarily terrible wave! I literally have zero interest in any of this except for Hyde. I’m not hyped for the Ursa Major wave but it’s way better than this stinker!
  13. DISAPPOINTING! The marvel team didn’t give us nearly enough reveals. We get an Iron Man wave that has essentially no new sculpting except for the one character that will be at Ross and Ollie’s this time next year. That Thor is awesome but way too late. I don’t get why they keep recycling that 80th Ann Iron Man and Hulk sculpts but we can’t get a different comic version of Thor on his 80th Ann body? Maybe they should have spent a little less time on a cosplay necklace and revealed a few more figures?
  14. I'm sorry but we need way to many a list characters like a Classic Thor. I don't get why we are getting a D-list back up Spider Man character. Is it because he is getting a terrible Sony pictures movie that will bomb at the box office?
  15. I also understand why Iron Man is getting a wave based on the 90s toy line and the popularity of classic carded figures. My problem however, is that we will get a full wave of Iron Man and we will most likely also get another 4-6 armors thrown in other places. There is the big 3 Avengers- Iron Man, Cap and THOR In the 2020 Gamerverse waves based on the Avengers game (which Thor is featured in) we got 3 Iron Man, 2 Cap and 2 Hulk figures. How many Thor.....zero. In 2019 when Hasbro finally nailed down decent molds for Hulk and Thor that Hulk mold has been converted into three additional figures within a year (plus Hulk got two other figures on different molds). Did we get an updated Modern Thor to scale better than the 2011 release on the new Thor buck? No. Did we get a 6' scale sleeveless Modern Thor like the 12" offering we got a couple of years ago? No. Did we get that mold converted into a Simmonson Armored Thor, an updated King Thor to replace the one from the Hasbro dark days, an updated Ages of Thunder Thor that scales better with our collection, an updated Old King Thor that scales better than the 2015 BAF, or even a new Herald of Thunder Thor? No on all counts. We got 6 Iron Man armors this year, 2 Cap figures and lets be honest that Black Widow movie wave was as much a Cap wave as it was Black Widow and since the release of the 80th Ann line we have gotten 6 Hulk figures. Thor has carried his own title since what, 1962? He is a major MAJOR player in almost all Marvel events yet he barely has any representation in the Legends line. In 2019 we got a Thor, Loki and Beta Ray Bill. Three figures, this year we got Thunderstrike. Thor and Asgardians are severely overlooked by the Hasbro team. Just give us one year where Thor gets a little love. If you gave us: Amazon Exclusive Warriors Three pack, Deluxe Surtur And a wave where we get six comic figures and a BAF I feel certain they would sell at least as well as a Cyborg armed Spider Man that appeared in one issue of one comic almost 30 years ago. I guarantee they will sell better than the Age of Apocalypse wave which is still sitting at every Wal Mart and Target nationwide.
