And if my 'Hopes' for the SDCC 2019 are REALLY HIGH... I hope for this: The Original Human Torch... his young pal, ... Toro ... and the rest of ...THE ALL-WINNERS SQUAD.!! You remember them, don't you.?? The Human Torch, Toro, Captain America, Bucky, Namor~The Sub-Mariner, The Whizzer, ....and Miss America...!! Legendary Tales ... fighting against crooks, crime, and all sorts of bad-guys.... Whether it was small-time villains... ... or villains from The Future... They were always ready to fight for the good... and Justice.!! Tell me you haven't forgotten this team of Legendary Heroes... To me, ... they were the GREAT forerunners to The Mighty AVENGERS... CLASSIC in their own right...!! They had a number of Adventures ...that need yet to be told.... From on the battlefield ... fighting The Red Skull ...and the Nazi menace... ... to tales of Adventure only hinted at... which might NEVER be told.!! And don't forget probably the lesser know members of the Group... The 'wonderful' Whizzer.... and... Miss America... So, ... my SDCC 2019 Hopes are HIGH... These are the figures I'm 'hoping' for: The AVENGERS: 1) Rick Jones ... Friend of The Hulk ... and Captain America (among others) 2) GIANT-MAN 3) The Wasp 4) Zemo... 5) The Melter 6) The Villainous Black Knight The ALL-WINNERS SQUAD: 7) THE HUMAN TORCH --one figure: 'Flamed on'... 16) one figure 'Flamed Off' (Jim Hammond) 8) Toro-- one figure 'Flamed on' .... 17) one figure 'Flamed Off' .... Toro ... 9) CAPTAIN AMERICA 10) Bucky 11) NAMOR, THE SUB-MARINER...( A 1940'ish triangular head) 12)The WHIZZER- the great speedster... 13) MISS AMERICA- beautiful as always.!! 14) Professor Horton... 15) Betty Dean... 18) The Red Skull... in a green Nazi jumpsuit... 19) Master Man 20) Warrior Woman ..... Sure, ... I would be broke... but I would be VERY happy ... to add all these wonderful, Silver Age and Golden Age Marvel Heroes to my Marvel Legends figures collection...!!! High Hopes.!!!!!!!

Here's a 'push' I have for ... The Original, Golden Age, HUMAN TORCH.!! He, along with Namor, The SUB-MARINER, ... And ...CAPTAIN AMERICA ... made up the Triumvirate of Timely/Marvel... laying the real Groundwork for the Marvel Age.!! We have Namor and Captain America ...!! Now it would be great to get the third member of the Group..... The Human Torch. Remember his debut.... in MARVEL COMICS.... He was the cover feature... Surely, you remember.... He blazed brightly ... out of Professor Horton's lab... ... and set the World 'on fire'.!! ~ He saved New York from an out of control ... Sub-Mariner... Remember.??? A Legendary Battle that they, to this day, still write about...!! Their 'War' was Historic .... 'Fire meets Water'... How can any of us Forget this Flaming Hero ~ early in the Decade of the 1940's ... ??? So, ... I say... no Marvel Legends Collection is complete or will be complete without this Great Action Hero...!!!

I'll go... but I just want to throw these pictures in ... at you.!! Old pictures... but I think you can see I'm not hurting... and I look forward to up-dating all my AVENGERS FIGURES... LOL.!! Some of ...THE AVENGERS... and .... some of their foes....!! and Good Luck ... with the Contest...!! I KNOW I want to win, too.!! It will help to pay for All those figures we want.!! Be Well...!!!

Let me say this about those 'things' on a green QUICKSILVER.... I'm not sure what they ... those green things on his shoulders are called ... but I always wanted a QUICKSILVER ...looking like he looked here... in an early X-MEN comic... Jack made him look pretty cool with those 'things' on his shoulders...!! I loved the look.!! The look was later dropped...much to my disappointment... But I think it was such a great look for QUICKSILVER... I was so sorry to see it go.... !!! I dreamed of a Hasbro Marvel Legends ... 80th year celebration Action Figure... with those 'things' on Quicksilver's shoulders... But "you can't always get what you want... but if you try sometimes...." LOL..!!!!

Let me say this: ... I was about to walk away from Marvel Legends ...because I had waited soooo long for a really Classic THOR figure... and was about to give up of ever having one... and when I saw this... I was walking right back in... THIS was the figure I had been waiting for ...for so long... Just Great.!! He looks wonderful...!! And ... who else do I have... Yup... his half-Brother... LOKI .... This is so great.!! And we get .... a new, Captain America ... with scales on his costume... at last...!! Already, Hasbro has made me very, very happy... but they didn't stop there. Oh, no... We got an up-dated ... (but to me, a Silver Age) IRONMAN... with extra heads... and they look great.!! What more could I dare ask... ??? But they were hardly through... A new... and Great looking ... THE HULK ... Oh, man... and more.... QUICKSILVER, ... the mutant speedster... Wow.!! Ok, he didn't come in green with 'things' on his shoulders... but I can live with this.... And we also get ... A new... and beautiful ... Wanda, ... The SCARLET WITCH.... NOW, as an AVENGERS fan... I get seven figures... I would say... That's a wonderful start ... to getting The Silver Age Avengers that I wanted ... and dreamed of.... Too Great...!!!

SDCC 2019 Hopes: Yes, ...I hope the new line of the 80 Years of Marvel ... really opens up doors to The Silver Age and Golden Age of Marvel Characters. I would love to see a full line-up of The All-Winners Squad... with The Original Human Torch, (one of the 'Founding Members' of the Timely/Marvel Age), Toro, a 1940ish Captain America, Bucky, Namor-The Sub-Mariner (maybe with his triangular head), The Whizzer, ... and Miss America.!! ...Maybe with the Red Skull ... in a green Nazi jumpsuit... Hasbro could throw in Master Man, Warrior Woman ... and other Golden Age villains ... to stand up to the ALL-WINNERS SQUAD.!! With the release of the Classic THOR, ... and Captain America, IronMan, The Hulk, Quicksilver, a new Scarlet Witch, and Loki ... Maybe Hasbro could give us some of the Silver Age Avengers ... and supporting cast ...like: Rick Jones, GIANT-MAN, The Wasp, .... Zemo, ... and some of the MASTERS OF EVIL ... like the Cover to ...THE AVENGERS #6 ... and if we had The Melter, and the Villainous Black Knight... we would have all the cast members...!! All Ten (10) of them... What a GREAT DEAL.!!! THAT'S what I really hope for at the SDCC ... a reveal of all those WONDERFUL, Marvel Characters...!!! After 80 years ... I think we are 'almost' entitled to them.!! LOL.!!!

A Classic, Golden Age, Original Human Torch .... both in his 'Flame On' ...version... And his 'Flame Off' Version... (maybe inside a glass container) ... overseen by Professor Horton...

I would like to see ... A Silver Age .... GIANT-MAN ... and The Wasp ... ...like this: Both GIANT-MAN and The Wasp ... costume Variants... that looked like this.!!

REALLY, ... all of the heroes I'm requesting shouldn't be out of the question. This MARVEL'S ANNOTATED just hit the stands ... today... so, many do realize these wonderful heroes are, indeed, in Marvel's history... And not too awfully long ago ... there was ... The Marvel Project ....! ! And I didn't even mention ...The Angel, ... The Black Marvel...Blazing Skull... and some of the other Marvel Heroes than I would have liked to bring into the discussion about ... Action Figures.!! So, ... I'll quit for now... but I really do hope that this Marvel Legends Celebration of 80 years of Marvel... does bring in these heroes... for us to add to our Marvel Action Figure Collection. Fingers crossed... hopefully.!!!

... and again... I would like to make a 'pitch' for ... Captain America's best pal... BUCKY.... I've been hoping for him... ever since we first got a good Captain America ... and a good Namor... (BUCKY'S last figure was dreadful.) ... To get Bucky and Toro... two of the YOUNG ALLIES ... would be just wonderful...!!!

There ARE others I would like to see.... like ... Beautiful NAMORA... Always beautiful ...when drawn right... ..... I would love to see her as an Action Figure... as, probably, Namor would....!!!

...And how about other Great (Timely) Golden Age Super-Heroes... Like: THE VISION... Simon and Kirby's Great Super-Hero from the early days of Marvel... He would be GREAT to have as an Action Figure...

As for other wonderful Golden Age (Timely) Marvel Super-Heroes that Hasbro COULD work into this Anniversary Celebration... Line.... How about Stan Lee's first Super-Hero he ever wrote for???: ... THE DESTROYER.... Keen Marlow... To me, ... this guy was 'too cool for school' ... just a GREAT looking Super-hero ... That should have been an Action Figure a long time ago.!! He fought those Nazis ... with the best of them... To me, ... he DEFINITELY deserves to be set in plastic as an Action Figure...!!!

For my money, ... if Hasbro's 80 years of Marvel ... wanted to throw in a Demented Dwarf (Future Man)... and an evil female, Madame Death,....So much the better.!! There's nothing quite like a Group of Golden Age Super-heroes ... going after a couple of Golden Age Villains... !!! NOTHING...

Like I said, ... I really hope this 80th Anniversary line .... does open up the possibilities of more Golden Age characters being offered to us: One of my first groups that I really liked was ... The ALL-WINNERS SQUAD... I would love to have an Original Human Torch, Toro, '40's Captain America and Bucky, a 1940's Namor, The Sub-Mariner...with that wonderful trianglar head of his, ... and I would love to have The Whizzer and Miss America.!! That would be soooo Great to have these wonderful Golden Age Super-Heroes as Action Figures in my collection.!!
