  1. Though not perfect, I think this is a really good head sculpt. It's probably one of the best Mafex has done.
  2. I like coupons and saving money. The only thing I don't like is the limited window to use the coupon.
  3. Can you imagine if we did? That would be awful. Would be even worse for those who collect both Marvel and DC.
  4. The biggest complaint I have is the mismatch skin tone between his shoulders and arms.
  5. Past two days received what I had ordered from the mini comic wave. Banshee, Adam Warlock, Miles, and Daken. I was most excited for Banshee just so I could finally have my Giant Size X-Men completed.
  6. Was the 80th not classic enough for Thor?
  7. No one in particular in mind. Just as long as the character is written well.
  8. I said that more as a joke but Mafex does some weird stuff sometimes. For example, AoA and regular Magneto. The only difference between the two were the head sculpts and the cape color.
  9. I don't mind a female surfer mainly because this is an alternative universe. After the Avengers movies resets the main line universe I would like Surfer to then be Norrin Radd
  10. The SDCC Deadpool was $49.99 also....but it was a 2 pack
  11. Then Mafex wouldn't be able to sell you another one with the hooded head 😂
  12. I'm planning on picking this up only if I see it on sale/clearance. I really just want the new effect for one of my Storm figures. If the yellow matches the Target Jean Grey I'll do a foot swap and paint the boots on Jean.
  13. I think this statement is also on their website. The first items I noticed were the Beast Kingdom DC figures that were listed at $48.99 but had a "does not include tariff surcharge" disclaimer. The bottom of the listings had the full statement. I assume all preorder listings with the disclaimer are listed that way. I'm glad BBTS gives you the option to cancel once the final total cost is calculated.
  14. What can they give a Maximum Deadpool that we haven't gotten already?
  15. I wish the blues matched the Jim Lee version. I would be tempted to pick this up to use some of the head sculpts on that one.
  16. Good luck everyone and Happy Easter!!!
  17. Thanks for dashing my hopes! 😂
  18. My first thought was Max Spidey buck only because Hasbro used the RYV previously. Vulcan being a good size but lacks in the articulation. The new Punisher body is probably the best existing buck to use for Daredevil. Best blend of size and articulation.
  19. This is "Maximum series". What we want will now be in the "Definitive series." I'll remember to give you the naming credit when that line comes out lol. All jokes aside I at least hope this Hulk's green matches one of the previous releases. That way we can at least use one of the old head sculpts.
  20. Still too much for me, but $49.99 is a much more respectable price for what you get than $59.99.
  21. My only disappointment in this figure is that Hasbro finally started using the double ball peg system (diaphragm and torso) on an Iron Man I don't want.
  22. Most excited for Falcon. Being a Secret Wars wave he should be in his classic costume. The last figure I need to complete my Avengers display. Colossus and Kitty 2 pack. Would add this to my Astonishing X-Men display. If Colossus is shirtless may use it for the Outback X-Men. Daredevil? What would everyone say if he came on the new Maximum Spider-Man buck?
  23. I don't think star power really had anything to do with her casting way back then for the first X-Men movie. She was just starting to blow up but she wasn't super famous at that time. As for her accent, there's at least one or two deleted scenes where she had an accent. Most of those scenes were cut. When X2 came around they decided to drop the accent. The only real line left from the first movie was the terrible, "Do you know what happens to a Toad when it's struck by lightning......." God, I really hate that line. But, I definitely agree she wasn't the best actor to portray Storm.
  24. It must be early enough in the production process to make this change, but this just makes me wish even more that the same thing could have been done with X-Factor Jean's boots.
