Tom Hardy would but I think casting would be difficult since he plays Venom. Also have seen Scott Eastwood's name thrown around for Wolverine

With the X-Men soon to be rebooted and rolled into the MCU, I wanted to get some people's thoughts on which actors would be awesome casting choices. Especially since those choices will eventually be MCU Marvel Legends figures.
Off the top of my head I think Madelaine Petsch would be an awesome Jean Grey!!!

I'm not one of them, nor do I understand it, but I know plenty of people who liked Batman Forever.
The point I was making is that fans would have looked forward to Spiderman 4 based on 1 and 2. Nobody would have looked forward to a Schumacher Batman 5 based on 3 and 4.

And Joel Schumacher wanted to make amends by making a better movie with Batman 5.
Nobody liked either of Schumacher's Batman movies. Only Raimi's Spiderman 3 was universally hated.

Seems weird to me how many people wanted a comic book adaptation of a sequel to a movie they hated.
I think people wanted it because of what Sam Raimi wanted to do for Spiderman 4. He regretted what he made (Spiderman 3) and wanted to make amends by making a better movie with 4.

Avengers Endgame rerelease and a little bit longer? Considering that the first time I saw it the movie froze about 20 minutes in and the theater restarted it from the beginning, this will feel like a shorter version to me!!!!! 😃

I liked Avatar. I thought it was a good movie but I am not sure why it did as well as it did. Didn't see it the theaters and I have seen every marvel movie on the big screen. End game deserves to beat it.
I believe Avatar did so well is because it was the first movie that pushed how great a 3D live action movie could be. It was after the movie came out there was a huge push to release everything in 3D, even with the crappy 3D conversion technology that was used at the time (i.e. Clash of the Titans). Interesting that both those movies starred Sam Worthington lol.

I love the Captain America and Rescue statues. But the War Machine one looks a bit off, like it was posed with horrible articulation.
I think it's the direction of the shoulder cannon that makes it look off. Maybe if it was turned or maybe just from another angle it may look better.

Anyone else planning on picking up that Cyclops JUST for the effects? Because they'll look really good on the Jim Lee Cyclops...
Also, how long do we have to wait for a Giant Sized costume Storm now, because she's the last figure that I'll need for my X-Men Arcade roster (seriously, how awesome was that game?)
Better be the dual screen roster with all six characters!!!!! I loved that game at the arcade as a kid!!!!

Great figure, especially since I couldn't get my hands on the Legends version.

So hard to choose!!!! Off the top of my head:
1. Jean Grey (updated Jim Lee)
2. Banshee update
3. Syrin (90's X-Force)
4. Sunspot (90's X-Force)
5. Sunfire (AoA, one of my favorite designs)
6. Havok (90's X-Factor)
Or instead of Havok (or a bonus pick!!!!) I would go with 90's/first appearance Exodus!

I don't see any appreciable increase in X-waves, at least till the next movie comes out, and according to everyone involved, that won't be for a few years.
There will still be X-Waves no doubt, but I doubt we'll see anything like this year (Caliban Series, Wendigo Series, X-Retro) again for quite a while. The ONLY reason we got those is because of Dark Phoenix and . . . you know how that worked out.
Hopefully it was more because of Disney acquiring Fox and therefore reacquiring the license to the X-Men movies, and less because of Dark Phoenix.

Making it wouldn't be too hard. There's a modeling material you can get called "liquid effects" or "water effects" that's meant for creating realistic pools of water, etc., but you should be able to mold it around something to get the shape you want, and just drybrush a little white paint to make it look frostier. There's probably a frosted looking resin you could cast from a mold or use to 3D print too, but that sounds more time consuming or expensive, respectively. Try looking up a modeling ice tutorial. I'm sure some good ones exist.
Thanks!!!!

Speaking of Iceman and his slide, does anyone know how to make or even buy a custom made iceslide? Building a Jim Lee X-Men #1 display and would like to find out, thanks!

If the rumored 3 pack of Jean, Cyclops, and Wolverine is true I hope the Cyclops is the Jim Lee version, but with an alternate head for the optic blast like this vintage wave.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to make or where to get a custom made Iceman slide?

I'm hoping they complete the Blue team at least..so JUBILEE and CYCLOPS in the near future. Going for the gold team would be great!!
I'm assuming you're talking about Marvel Select?

Is there any where on this site or any other site that has a complete list of all the 80th anniversary figures and where they will be available/released through?
Thanks in advance!
