Seems like if it is a mix of Avengers and X-Men isn't there an upcoming crossover next year in the comics? Also with the Inhumans (idk if any of them fit any of the codenames)? Or maybe it's a mixed wave for the 30th anniversary for both teams.

I will be very surprised if we don't get a redo of the Toys R Us boxed set of the Original X-Men next year for their anniversary (That would be a MASSIVE miss on Hasbro's part).

LOL, no connection but we've already gotten a Legends one. From these images though I love how the soft-goods hoodie looks on the figure.
Never a connection but it seems like when one company releases a figure another does their version soon after. Jokingly hope this is the case again because I never got my hands on either releases of Legends Scarlet Spider.

Is this the same mold as the previous versions?

This is a possibility and to me seems like a good strategy on Hasbro's part. But another reason could be that a lot of the big name characters have already been done, and now most of the deluxes are releases of those original BAFs.

Does this mean we'll get a Legends rerelease soon? 😂

This retro wave team was a cheapo mess imo and I LOVE the Byrne suits so it was pretty darn upsetting to see how they turned out. But with the way things are going, I’m not enthused about waiting years to complete the team (again) so am hoping they do a classic multipack on the next go around with more effort put into them this time.
Main thing I’d like to see though is a red hot, opaque Human Torch just like on the pages. Can’t help but think that version was/is intended to be released second bc it’s just gotta be better looking than what we got and you know how they love to save better for next.
A stretched out Reed update would be lovely as well, whether it be a deluxe or even potentially a baf. But ya so much possible goodness they can tap into if they keep on busting out F4 waves, singles, etc. With a lot of ppl guessing the fantasticar as a Haslab project at some point, I'll be pretty sad if those versions end up being tier unlocks.

they seem to be setting up a West Coast Avengers
I wonder if Marvel may hint at him in the upcoming Armor Wars series. Could set up a West Coast/Force Works type story.

I can't believe how many iconic comic creators we have lost recently.

This is one of the better X-Men TAS releases.

I’m in the camp that that T’Challa as a character should have continued in the BP franchise. I loved Boseman’s contribution as BP.. but it is pure folly to continue the series without T’Challa. It saddened me when Chadwick passed, not because he played an MCU character but because all signs hinted that he was a good man. But to think that his unfortunate passing means that his interpretation of a character ends and no other black actor can continue to elevate the character is short sighted.
Honor Chadwick. Give him a nice tribute but let another worthy actor carry on what Chadwick started. No one is saying that another actor can replace Boseman. But another actor could certainly add to the foundation that Boseman laid.
Even if the powers that be decided that T’Challaa should take a back seat to Shuri or MBaku his presence as a character SHOULD remain in the franchise.
Just my opinion.
I agree. And did Disney say they wouldn't recast at all? Or just "at this time?" With the multiverse getting established it could also be a way to recast the character.

Finally got my hands on some Hellfire Club Guards! Woohoo!!! Picked up 5 on ebay for about $25 each, and that was with the shipping price included. Now I can properly display my Hellfire Club box set!

I really like this set but I prefer a Hasbro go the Alpha Flight route and give us the entire team at once. Ok, 99% of a whole team. Better than 3/5... though I can understand why another Nightcrawler wasn’t included..
Nightcrawler included w/ Rachel would have made an awesome 5 pack. Especially since not everyone got a hold of Nightcrawler the first time, and he's a bit pricey on the secondary market.

Yeah, that's what I thought. It is a pretty clean chest though.
I also think that's why they did it that way. Can get awesome range for yelling or for a preparing to punch pose. I would love front butterfly so I could pose him slapping his hands together.

Keep going back and forth on this one. Preordered it, then cancelled. Almost bought it again and changed my mind. Decided to do an original Defenders and felt this Hulk would go great with the new classic Dr Strange. Plus the recent Hasbro Pulse sale was such a good deal, unfortunately it all sold out before I got a chance to buy it.

Best get used to saying "20th Century Studios" (and "Searchlight Pictures"). 20th Century Fox no longer exists. "Fox" is just too heavily associated with the broadcasting, sports and "news" companies Disney doesn't own. One of Disney's stated reasons for buying 20th Century Fox was so they'd have an outlet for more adult-oriented films, something they haven't had since they got rid of Miramax and shuttered Touchstone. So yeah, pretty much anything Disney wants to target at adults more than kids/families will be/is being released through 20th Century.
Wasn't sure about the official name but yeah, thanks for confirming what I thought Disney should do is what they're doing=just using the old Fox studio for the adult targeted movies/shows. I just hadn't seen or read anything official that that's what they are doing.

Is the general consensus that any of the DDs we’ve gotten are not good? I have every one released and love them all. Even though the Armored version is on a different buck, I can justify it because he is you know... Armored. Of course he would look different than in tights ( but somehow smaller?. Haha again, I overlook because I really dig this version)
i vote nay.. ive got a few perfect versions and want to spend my $$ on a different figure
They're good but getting dated. Plus the best classic red suit IMO is the Defenders exclusive box set, which many of us (including myself) do not have.

Vulcan mold for height. But the new pinless Spidey retro buck I would love for the articulation for DD.

I wonder if future movies like Deadpool will still be released under the 20th Century Fox banner or under Marvel Studios/Disney. It would make sense under Fox, I feel it would help audiences know which movies are more kid friendly (Marvel Studios) and ones that are more adult oriented PG13/R (Fox).

Had the same thought, but I also wonder if I should just wait for a regular release version (and it also may be cheaper too).
