  1. Hi, all New to the forum and kinda new to the community. I’m starting to look for dedicated platforms like this one geared towards the toy/collectibles community. A lot of influencers have made a name for themselves using other platforms like YouTube and IG. I think forums like this one present a similar opportunity via a different route. I think a cumulative rep-point/like system per post would help distinguish quality active members in this forum. Just a suggestion. Thanks!
  2. I initially thought the same thing after watching reviews and seeing the wash on the blue. I think they tried to replicate comic shading style. I ended up being indifferent to it after getting it in hand. As far as possibility and aesthetics, the mafex one is the sweet spot. Like a Marvel Legend spidey with revoltech posing. But you’re right, I’d rather have the lighter blue in the promo shots
  3. It’s a shame that a movie this beautiful gets figures that don’t do it aesthetic justice. This might be the closest line, but it’s an obvious cash grab/incentive to pick up the physical copy of the movie. Not sure it was even needed. Marvel Legends applied movie-inspired paint to their current sculpts and bucks. Doesn’t truly capture the look of the character design in the movie. I really wish we could get an articulated version of the character designs in the movie. Maybe SHF or MAFEX? I really want a King Pin from the movie. I’ve even complentated tracking down an old ToyBiz Strong Man and have a try customizing him haha.
  4. I hope Mafex continues this 90s theme both in Spider-Man and X-Men. Mafex is the sweet spot for me as far as aesthetic accuracy and dynamic posing. Marvel Legends is a nice line (and price point), but I feel like that line is more of an artistic take on the shows and comics. The only aesthetically accurate figures they try to make are from the MCU. I do wish that they made Wolverine’s stripes black, though. But man, this Cyclops is the one IMO. They’ve got the definitive Spider-Man already, and it’s looking like Cyclops will be definitive as well. I just wish the blast rays included a removable “impact” piece on the end.
