Marvel Legends Monday Fan Channel Reveal For August
Darth_Primus replied to JayC's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
I'm don't have any complaints to declare. I'm just happy that I was able to pre-order these figures without any issues to speak of. I'm looking forward to adding both figures to my shelf. I hope an update Rachel Gray figure get released soon since an updated Psylocke is coming out too so that I may complete my Marvel Now line up. -
The Deluxe Black Widow in the white suit is up on Walmart for $19.99 (listed at some retailers for $29.99) with free shipping. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hasbro-Marvel-Black-Widow-Legends-Series-Black-Widow/531164876

2/(3)-packs you want to see
Darth_Primus replied to SpiderS's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
I would love to see a 3 pack of Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends of Firestar and Ice Man. -
Deadpool, Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead would look lovely on my shelf next to the rest of the MCU figures.

I haven't been reading any of the new F4 comic books, so I thought the Walgreens exclusives were the modern look since they have black gloves instead of white. I'm not really a fan of the modern costumes, but I'll take em! I like all the reveals. I can't wait to add Warpath to my X-Force roster. So glad I never went the eBay route to get this figure.

I'm doubting we'll get any new Sentinels since Amazon has their exclusive set going.

As of the time of this post, 80th Anniversary Cap is available on Walmart's website.

Marvel Legends Punisher War Machine Found At Retail
Darth_Primus replied to JayC's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
I looked for this figure at the nearest GameStop to me and didn't find it. I did see the other fan channel exclusives but I passed on them for now. Although, the Punisher was very tempting. -
I figure Hulu passed on Ghost Rider because it wouldn't be budget friendly with the CGI cost needed. I'm sure the spirit of vengeance will live on somewhere.

Yeah, I'm not really surprised, in the sense of this news coming out of left field. I always figured when Disney asked for half and Sony walked away it was the first step in the negotiations, much like buying a car in the older days, before apps. I was pleasantly surprised to read the announcement that Disney and Sony reached a deal without the usual pre-rumors and reportedly "inside sources" leaking onto the internet. Ya know, typically the websites like "We Got This Covered" or "Cosmic Book News" report something about a rumor or they sources say... Anyway, this is great and wonderful news as I would like to see what happens now with Spidey/Peter after J. Jonah dropped that bombshell.

I'm not going to say it's a great figure or what I would have picked to be the BAF for the wave, as I rather have the Bro Warrior Thor. That being said, I think the BAF could have been worse and we could have gotten another Rocket BAF. I'm sure with see a many toyphotography with Bro Thor with beers in his hand and most likely sitting down on a couch. Anyway, since I'll be getting this wave and the Bro Thor BAF, I want a Frigga figure just so she can tell him to eat a salad.

Yeah, Shartimus brought Big Time Letdown Spidey after shelving him for awhile when he got that cool looking custom one. And Big Time Letdown Spidey is like Shartimus' calling card. I remember passing on the Letdown figure, because it was a letdown even when it was being clearance out. But then the Spider-Verse hit the comic books and Letdown became hard to find and shot up in price on eBay. And I regret not picking it up. So, this fan channel Big Time Spidey has made that regret disappear. I think Big Time Spidey looks great and will be picking it up. But unlike Shartimus, I really don't want to see different color versions of this figure because I would likely buy them, in spite of them being just repaints.

Either a comic or MCU or both versions of the Warriors Three. A Marvel Zombie Box set with Spider-Man and the Avengers. An updated 6 inch version of the Toy Biz "Giant Size X-Men" with Thunderbird and Banshee.

MCU Legends we still need...
Darth_Primus replied to AnotherPunkChef's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Wong and the Ancient One are figures we need. I definitely want a Wong figure because I need that Asian representation on my shelf. And speaking of which, Hogun and the rest of the Warriors Three would be nice. Zombie Iron Stark in Far From Home would be pretty cool. I wouldn't say we need the following figures, but I would like foe fodder for my figures to beat down. So some Chitauri, Outriders, non-Prime Ultron figs, generic soldiers and street thugs.
