  1. This all boils down to the Hollywood tread of making bad people the heroes in order to desensitize. Keep the hero’s the focus of our comics and films. I don’t want to see murderers or slavers turned in to self proclaimed heroes. There are tons of great heroes in our comics, let’s keep them our role models and maybe we can help influence a future generation in a positive way. Let’s not have murderers, rapists, slavers, and abusers be our role models.
  2. I really love this wave. I have waiting for this baf for a long time. Adding the pretty-boy someday to the group would be amazing. My only complaint is that Sabretooth looks like he is related to the sue storm figure just released. Maybe second cousins.
  3. This series looks awesome. It seems as dark as the Netflix shows just hoping Disney keeps it up. I found their version of the only Netflix character crossover a tad lacking in his savageness.
  4. Did you cast the head yourself or was it a purchase? Looks freaking awesome
  5. Happy Birthday Stan!!! Thank you for a lifetimes worth of happiness. Thank you for the joy you have given me and to my wonderful children. I was lucky enough to meet you and you were the exception to the rule, never meet your heroes. Class act all the way. Excelsior!!!!!
  6. Yes this is just same old Marvel propaganda. They destroyed the comics for me years ago. I’ve collected Marvel since the early 80’s but had to pass on the ridiculous hype over the last 5-7 years. I love that they pump out great movies but I guess it’s like the old saying, “Careful what you wish for” because the comic side of their business has suffered ever since. They has continually destroyed amazing work of past writers year after year. Superb villains have become ridiculous hero’s great back stories have been butchered by new writers who obviously don’t even research the history. Maybe back issues are hard to come by. Perhaps it’s the result of the new writers not having any kind of an imagination due to being raised in front of a television. Maybe I’m just getting old and bitter. Maybe one day they can reinvent the universe back to a week before the original Onslaught and stop the first cataclysmic event from starting the avalanche of overpriced grade three story telling. I’m not saying everything was garbage after that but a good 90% was.
  7. No an all-female avengers movie would not be a good idea. Just like an all male version of Steel Magnolia, and all Asian version of Malcom X or an all white version of Fat Albert would not be a good idea. Just make interesting characters from all races and backgrounds. Leave the ones already created alone. When we change characters from female to male or black to white we just take away from the great character already created. Are we at that point where our society has so little imagination left we can only reinvent past characters? Stan Lee did more with his imagination in one year than the rest of Marvel has in the past decade, but he didn’t grow up attached to a device. Leave our characters alone and make new awesome ones. I don’t care what sex or colour they are just make them cool. Don’t make teams just because of what they have between their legs. All colours and sex’s work better together because they strive on their diversity.
