  1. Too many Wolverines. And instead of making more iron mans, they could give us a tony stark in a regular shirt for when he builds stuff, or they could even give him completely removable parts from the mark 1 since that design was thick enough to look natural in toy form.

On the bright side if this really means the end of the partnership then Sony can concentrate on their Spider Verse, maybe a crossover with 30 Seconds to Morbius or Venom, maybe we'll get that Silver Sable movie or the Black Cat movie or a Spider Woman movie or a Miles Morales movie or a Silk movie(fist superhero movie with an Asian female lead does have a nice ring to it)  and then they all get together in a Maximum Carnage crossover. Then without Spider Man projects, Kevin Feige and Disney/Marvel Studios can concentrate on making the X-men and Fantastic Four movies sooner, win win.

But what about the Spider-Man Fantastic 4 crossover we could have gotten.

The possible fallout from the Sony deal isn't going to affect Spider-Man Marvel legends figures apart from the lack of new Sony movie and game figures

Do you think they'll still be able to revisit characters from the movies before the deal broke?

I’m not sure but my guess is that it would be more like spiderverse and venom in that hasbro makes comic versions of characters appearing in the movies rather than doing mcu/Sonyverse versions

So we'll get comic characters we probably already have or may eventually get anyway. That would be a shame.

In the end, it's all gonna come down to not hunting them at retail. If they do an all online line without window boxes they rid of plastic and rid of part swappers, let's just hope that QC doesn't fall down like with the Poe Dameron fig from TLJ.

This might hurt physical retailers. People buy from them to see what they're getting, but if they do a closed box packaging, that won't matter anymore.

I think it's gonna bite us in the ass one way or another, either they do a windowless box, and we can't see the product, or they do open boxes (like "try me!" kids toys) and that makes it SUPER easy to jack figures and BAF parts...

This does not look good, and it's the exact opposite of what I had hoped for

Plus the normal box is design to be alot smaller and easier to pack and send out to stores.

and dear god no Clamshells. They were a nightmare to open.

I'm talking about the Hasbro version. It's nice that it's environmentally friendly, but isn't there some middle ground to keep it better protected on the outside, such as adding more cardboard to the areas where the toy wouldn't be blocked to keep the plastic more secure.

  8. I like the retro style packaging for Marvel Legends, but I don't really like the new style for the regular line. I think the original packaging was better because it made toy-jacking more difficult. I know this has already been discussed, but I'm wondering if they might consider switching to a different style of packaging again. Do you like the current packaging or do you think they should change it?
