  1. Smart mods. She looks much better than the actual one.
  2. I like Guardian and would have bought this figure but hate the head so have no interest in him and is a pass. Not only do I hate the super-pissed expression, I think the head is too big? It just looks wrong. I also agree he needs the metallic red and that the previous guardian looked so much nicer with the blue spray highlights as well
  3. Also, thinking about it, while not 100% accurate, an X-Factor Wolvesbane can be made using the Moonstar WB parts and the X-Factor Polaris body as a stand-in for people who really want that version. You're going to end up with extra Wolvesbane parts anyways if buy multiples of Moonstar to build the three New mutants anyways.
  4. MOONSTAR- I felt like I was never going to get any of the classic New Mutants. And while we still technically don't have any in those costumes, this works for me and I am beyond thrilled they included Wolvesbane and Karma parts, though I do worry how hard it will be to find three Moonstars as a Walgreens exclusive since sometimes I only see a character once and never again (ex: The Thing). I hate the New Mutants later, gaudy, X-Force costumes and have a feeling when Sunspot is made he will be the X-Force version, and don't see either Cannonball or Sunspot afterwards being remade in a classic-ish black and yellow New Mutant type costume anytime soon unless they do a black and yellow male body with Cannonball, Sunspot, and Cypher heads. And I'm not saying i'd want that. That would be horrible. Sam should be tall and lanky, ideally, and Roberto shorter. Now for a Magma?
  5. That new Doom looks amazing. Very impressed and excited for him!
  6. Classic Ice-man looks good but not great. He really could have popped with some subtle blue highlights and some nicer Ice accessories over the pretty lame looking ice stand he comes with. I will definitely add some blue highlights onto mine once I get him.
  7. I really love the damaged Juggernaut helmet, and the fact they both have two sets of hands.
  8. I'm glad we finally have a new Classic Thor but Hasbro was pretty cheap to not include a second head like the other sets have, such as an alternate pissed-off, yelling head or any lightning or Mjolnir effects. This head is good, but bland. Hasbro really needs to do something for characters who can use more effects like Thor can- A Mjolnir with lightning crackling around it, a Mjolnir with a clear "returning to hand" effect, A Mjolnir with an arc energy effect like being swung down, a spinning Mjolnir effect (I know Marvel Select has one, but I am just saying). Along with a Casket of Ancient Winters and a Thor frog, that's a pretty nice accessory set. Throw in some more alternate heads (Ex: helmetless, Hela damaged face covered by cape, bearded Simonson Thor) and you have a nice online exclusive accessory set for someone. Then maybe they can do some for other hero/team accessory sets. A Spider-man accessory set could come with not only alternate Spidey heads, but maybe a Mary Jane screaming head, Gwen Stacy screaming head, Spider-sense effect, web effects, and possibly even alternate villain heads and hands that have web on the face or binding the hands, (ex: for Rhino, Lizard) etc.
