  1. People can bash the color scheme on this figure but to say you're sticking with the outdated inferior decade old version is laughable. Bout 97% of Hasbro's redos have blown the original TB or early Hasbro versions outta the water! Only 3 TB figs that imo, Still stand the test of time are Rhino, Lizard & Green Goblin.
  2. You got that right. Hasbro hit a HR with this version of 80s Herc & nailed his hgt/ scale perfectly as he is an inch shorter than Thor.
  3. 90s comics in general were pretty sucky. The outfits just exacerbated the suckiness. That POS alien War Machine was the poster boy for 90s Marvel suckness! Editor should've been #$## canned for even allowing that monstrosity to even see print in a comic!
  4. Tigra is a must for my WCA team but imma wait for her to hit clearance. Not worth 25 bones. Her Cheetos color isn't a detriment as it's a comic character. Now where's my classic Bengal figure at!?
  5. Armadillo is a very nice figure but the character has never resonated with me and the wave being MCU based makes it a no buy for me asides a loose JJJ for the buck. With 3 months left in the yr, I only have about a handful of figs on my must buy list. 80s Herc Tigra Sandman Quasar Captain Britain
  6. She's Warbird in the 2nd book but I'm sure that's too violent and harsh sounding in today's world. She'll always be Ms Marvel in my collection as well as Warbird. Mar' Vell is the one & only Captain Marvel. Monica is Photon.
  7. The new mold will just be a slightly taller & buffer version of the Sunfire buck with butterfly articulation and pinless. You're welcome.
  8. With the way today's writers are abusing certain characters and turning them into into characters they were never intended to be by their creators, I don't blame em for suing Marvel. Their characters are getting desecrated left n right.
  9. Based on who's listed in this wave, just US Agent, Thor & IM for me. I'm intrigued by who the BAF could be but not getting my hopes up that it will be worth getting due to their stupid "no taller than 8.5 inch" scale criteria. classic Erik Josten Goliath has to be 12'-16' tall!
  10. Classic Hyde with gritted teeth and alternate screaming/yelling head sculpt, grabbing hands & fist hands!
  11. Negative, this is his Neo classic armor right after his Silver centurion armor got thrashed. This is his space armor from Operation "Galactic Storm" story arc. This one is also a must have.
  12. Both this & the Venom figure seem to be based of Todd's art from when he was on the book. Brock was a buff bodybuilder, his version of Pete/Spidey was a more lankier build imo. 60s-70s-80s Spidey was drawn more buff, then certain artists started to depict him with a more athletic gymnast type body such as Todd, Larson & a few others.
  13. Classic Swordsman more than rates to be an Avenger before crap characters such as Dr Druid, Rage, Speedball, America Chavez, etc. Character sports a very cool costume, is one of the , if not the best swordsmen in the world, an expert hand to hand combatant & also expert with knives & other sharp edged weapons, his sword was provided by the Mandarin & has many of the properties of the Mandarin's rings. has a variety of energy type powers which he can activate by pressing a button on the hilt . He trained & taught Hawkeye in everything he knows. Give him sword wielding hands & fists, alternate gritted teeth or yelling head & energy FX for his sword. Put him on the Grim reaper buck as he's a big guy at 6'4 250lbs
  14. Hawkeye did that to prove to a skeptical Ironman that he had the skills to become an Avenger.
  15. Problem is that in the past 15 yrs, Marvel editors have allowed writers to throw whomever they want on the team irigardless If they're already members of other teams or they've always been flying solo such as DD, Spidey & the Hulk. They were throwing 3/4 of the FF on the team for chissakes! The Avengers used to be the military equivalent of the USMC, only the best of the best were voted on to join the ranks of earth's mightiest. Heck, if you participated in the Christmas trimmings of the tree at the mansion, that rates automatic membership according to some. Use to be a time when only around 25 or so characters in the Marvel universe had the distinction of being Avengers, now it's probably in the hundreds. Being an Avenger has lost it's luster when just bout anyone can be a member. So now people want super lame figures of characters to be made as Avengers that had no business ever even being on the team.
  16. So, anyone who helps decorate the Mansion for the holidays rates membership? Well, better them than Safespace & Snowflake.
  17. I decided to go on a suited figure buying binge this past week & now have a good amount of suited soldiers/hitmen for Fisk to sic on Frank, Spidey & DD. I made this custom office last yr to split between KP, Tony & JJJ. Can't wait to add the retro Suited Hammerhead to this pic. Wish the Coulson, Everett Ross figs weren't so damn expensive cuz I really wanted to add those suited characters to my goon squad. I do wish they hadn't made KP so damn tall, he's 6'7, not 7'7! Hopefuly Hasbro re-does him at a more accurate scale in some future Spidey wave or Bring on the bad guys wave.
  18. I was able to get this on discount at my local Tarjay last week for $37, lot better than the full $52.99 price tag.
