  1. There is no way Hasbro isn't reusing that Random arm for a Bushwacker figure at some point. It's too obvious to pass up and we really need a Bushwacker.
  2. I assume The Orb that Hasbro previously hinted at would've been one of the unlock tiers. If the kickstarter fails, then I'm hoping they might repaint that figure and release it at retail alongside a classic Mephisto. I know Hasbro said that they won't be releasing anything from failed Haslab products at retail, but if they repaint/redo the figures, then it technically isn't the same product. I guess I'm just holding out hope for these figures to be released somehow, because I'm certain that characters with such unique and cool designs would do just fine at retail.
  3. I'm very excited about this wave, although I hope the Hydra Supreme won't just be a repaint of the 2-pack version with an unmasked head. It wouldn't surprise me, though.
  4. I am really excited about that bad guys wave. My absolute favorite Legends figures are the obscure and goofy bad guys that nobody else cares about, like Spymaster and Living Laser. Scientist Supreme and Arcade really scratches that itch. I'm hoping to see a Mangog for the BAF, but they're probably gonna wait for a movie version. Maybe we could get a slightly undersized Dragon Man? The Spidey wave also appeals to me on the obscure villains front, so hell yeah. Hand ninjas and Stilt-Man has been some of my biggest wishes for years. Frogman can pass as a Leap-Frog. I'm loving these additions to my Daredevil shelf, these reveals almost feels made for me. I don't have any Into The Spider-Verse merch, so I don't mind picking those up, even if Stilt-Man is the main draw. Another big win for MODOK. I have always wanted that Toybiz MODOK, and now I don't have to pay extreme prices for it on the aftermarket. It should look great alongside that Scientist Supreme and army builder soldiers. I mean, if I can afford it... The HOX/POX wave is the only one that doesn't appeal to me too much. The Wolverine looks neat and Cyclops figures always appeal to me, but the wave as a whole doesn't get my hype going as much. Hopefully the BAF won't be too cool.
  5. Hella cool! If I can give some constructive criticism, I think you should replace the glowy green computer effects with some practical effect pieces, photoshop effects are always a little distracting. Maybe you could use the effect pieces from the MCU Scarlet Witch figure and repaint them green? Still a really good pic overall, keep up the good work.
  6. I still think it will be his iconic swords. It's entirely possible to create roleplay items that are both safe and realistic looking, just look at all the professional roleplayers (AKA nerds) who dress up as elves and run around in forests while punching each other with various weapons. I was one of those nerds as a kid!
  7. what are the paint variatians? The only noticeable difference I can see is that Cap's belt buckle is painted this time.
  8. Morbius is a fantastic choice. He works as a Spider-Man villain and a Blade villain, so we finally have a bad guy to pose those figures against. I have mixed feelings about the somewhat silly looking soft goods he is sporting, but the sculpt itself looks nice.
  9. The classic Black Panther and the Rocket bust are both must-get to me. I agree that it would've been nice to see more Select figures, but at least they still brought some fantastic stuff along.
  10. I am SO excited for that FF4 wave, that is something I have been wanting for years. A huuuge BAF Galactus would be too cool, but that is never gonna happen... a Giant Man sized Galactus wouldn't do him justice and hopefully Hasbro knows that. I am expecting Super Skrull to be the BAF, which I wouldn't complain about. I hope we also get a classic Mole Man like the one Funko recently revealed, but I doubt it.
  11. Yeah, but he was created by white writers who were inspired by Native American stereotypes, so I can kinda see where the cultural appropriation argument is coming from. It's the same reason the classic, traditionally dressed warmonger Mandarin was changed to a cyborg in a business suit. I'm not saying I necessarily agree with this point of view, I think it's important to recognize the difference between purposefully hurtful stereotypes and a character like Adversary who just takes inspiration from other cultures. But from a business point of view, it makes sense why Hasbro is staying away from a potentially offensive character. Now you know why we'll never see a classic Man-Ape BAF.
  12. A Dmitri Bukharin Crimson Dynamo would be awesome, or maybe even a huge BAF Anton Vanko Dynamo. Or both??? Maybe I'm asking for too much, but I love me some Dynamo and I would be so hyped to see those figures. Ursa Major would also be a pretty cool BAF, but I'm afraid Hasbro will pass on him since... well, the figure would literally just be a large bear. It would require a lot of unique tooling for a character that very few non-comic fans would be interested in. Don't get me wrong, bears are awesome and so is Ursa Major, I would love to see that figure. But I kinda doubt it's gonna happen? Hopefully they'll prove me wrong. I definitely expect to see another comic Black Widow figure. Why are some people here claiming they don't include comic versions of the main character in movie waves? We got a comic Strange in the Doctor Strange movie wave and a comic Iron Man in the Infinity War movie wave. I am expecting to see a white repaint of the 90's Widow we got in the Toybiz-style vintage wave. It would be a very obvious repaint that would be guaranteed to make a lot of money. It's not exactly a figure I would be super excited about, but if they can save money on a certified cash maker and use the leftover money to make more original characters like Dynamo, I definitely think it's worth it. A Titanium Man would be another character I'd love to see. I know he hardly has anything to do with Black Widow, but we probably won't get another Iron Man wave for quite some time, and he DID fight Dynamo once, so a Titanium Man wouldn't be too far-fetched imo. And it would just be such a sick looking figure. He could be another potential BAF, depending on how large they make him. And a totally classic Heinrich Zemo to complement the Helmut Zemo we got in 2014? YES PLEASE! Or just an updated Helmut Zemo with his shoulder fur, that wouldn't be too bad either.
  13. Usually I would complain about too many Wolverines, but this costume is just way too cool. I always like X-Force variants.
  14. As someone who struggles to afford regular Hot Toys, I think this scale is pretty cool.
  15. They already made a regular red version. I guess they wanted an easy repaint and just went with this. Same goes for the Thanos they just revealed, which is a classic light-blue repaint of their more modern Thanos.
  16. If you can make a Blob figure, I think you could make a Kingpin too. His articulation would obviously be more limited, but since he's a brawler, that wouldn't be a dealbreaker to me. But Kingpin is my favorite character, so I'd take any Fisk merchandise at this point tbh.
  17. I thought the original was a little too shiny, so I actually prefer this. The shading is a bit weird, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, it would make the figure stand out among my many other Spideys.
  18. Yea I've seen the movie, but I still think the proportions are slightly off. His head doesn't look THAT oversized in the movie. I think the problem is that his torse is a bit too skinny, and that his head should be a little less round. It's not terrible, I think the soft goods help a lot. But I think the depressed Peter Parker they showed off looks more accurate.
  19. The head looks way too large compared to the skinny body. At least the large jacket helps make it look more natural.
  20. Don't forget Sandman and Dormammu! They released repainted versions of both BAFs in exclusive boxsets. And now we'll also be able to get Hit Monkey in that upcoming two-pack. So this is actually the tenth time they're doing this... yeah. Obscure characters like Titus and Caliban are the only BAFs that certainly won't be rereleased, so those are the BAFs you should try to complete. The more popular characters will always be rereleased with a slightly different color scheme later on. That's why I actually prefer really obscure BAFs.
  21. I agree with folks here. Mr. Hyde and Tarantula in particular would be fantastic choices.
