  1. I like it. I’m surprised to see so many people offering up the idea of boxed sets
  2. I like the idea for sure. I wonder if Hasbro does... seems like they went for the big bombastic options right out the gate. It almost feels like doing regular figures is a step backwards in scale. That’s not a bad thing, but I wonder if they’d do it
  3. That is a gorgeous figure for sure. She was one that came to mind for me as well
  4. My preferred star lord head comes from that 2-pack, but I actually prefer the body on the single packed figure from the Mantis wave
  5. Nowadays, we see promotional images, YouTube reviews, postings in groups and forums, so it seems like you’re familiar with a figure before you get it in hand. So my question to you is, what is a recent figure that you’ve gotten that has surprised you in how you felt about it. That could be you’re surprised you liked it as much as you did, or you were shocked that you didn’t like it. For me, I was surprised with how little I liked the vintage series Storm that just came out. Just got her last night and was very indifferent towards it, despite that being my preferred design. On the flip side, I was surprised how much fun I had with the Klaue from the M’Baku wave. But what about you?
  6. That makes sense, but would it get the backers? The more obscure you get, the less likely a bunch of people will jump on board
  7. They need to put small figures like 2 or 3 to a box. $20 for Throg , Howard the Duck, and Cosmo? I won’t even complain
  8. Meijer in Birch Run, MI has the X-Men Vintage wave in stock. They even had 2 Storms on the peg. Only one when I left... for anyone in the area
  9. Right, if you’re buying a means of display, it’s a viable option, but if you’re buying a diorama or playset or a backdrop for photography, it’s not really the best. Maybe the best option on the market, but still
  10. The BAF was such a massive piece that required so much new tooling, and there’s no way that the wave sold as well as they do hoped, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see a repack or repaint with a new spidey or daredevil
  11. Yeah I can see why you’d say that. I think that’s probably why it looks better as a shelf than anything else
  12. I know that obviously pricing is different, but to have lines be flipped in their pricing is strange regardless
  13. I find that strange that geography would make such a difference
  14. The Family Matters 3-pack is by far the best. Especially if you add in the unmasked head from the Apocalypse wave magneto Into the mix
  15. I just don’t trust the longevity of cardboard
  16. Most TF here in Michigan are $10-$15 more than a black series of legends
  17. Definitely agree with you on the Disney MO, but I highly doubt anybody would actually be offended by this in particular. There’s things that people could be offended by, but I doubt this would be one
  18. I would love that! Totally seems like something McFarlane would have done back in the day. I’d buy the sh!t out of those
