  1. My biggest concern with haslab is that they will give us more realistically scaled things like snow speeder or blackbird, but will still have that steep price, just because that’s the status quo of the lab now
  2. That’s how I view it as well. It’s too steep a price for me, and I would argue in general, but there’s absolutely no problem with anyone choosing to do it
  3. I wouldn’t call it shaming. I do think that the price range is astronomical personally, but I’ll never judge how others choose to spend their money, just as I would expect. Personally, I could never fathom spending that kind of money, nor finding space for something so huge in my own collection. But to those that can, that’s awesome
  4. I don’t disagree with you there. I feel like they started too big. Why not start with a $100-$200 project that would never sell at retail in order to get more hardcore collectors on board? I’ll never spend $300+ haslab money on a toy ever. Period. It’s a hobby that I love but anything more than that is absurd
  5. At least right now. Who knows what’s around the corner. But I doubt any current line could top it
  6. You and me both, it seems like Marvel has put the comics on the back burner for the movies. You’d think that with the insane popularity of the movies, they’d be able to put out all sorts of new, cutting edge and ballsy stuff, but it’s gotten even more generic
  7. NECA’s Street Dio is neat, I’d love to see what Hasbro could do
  8. I’m trying to wrap my head around how that could function as a toy. It’s tough but I’m digging it
  9. Found some 80th stuff at the Walmart in Gaylord, MI last night. Lots of Iron Man, 2 caps, I picked one up. A few 2 packs but I didn’t see which.
  10. Galactus would be neat, but I feel like Hasbro would sooner repack the Marvel Universe Figure like they did with the Sentinel
  11. So far, the Haslab has sucessfully produced the massive Star Wars 3.75” Jabba’s Sail Barge, and are in the process of seeking backers for their Insanely huge Unicron from Transformers, as well as the *ahem* life sized Cookie Monster. The question I pose to y’all is, what do you see as actual possibilities for a Marvel Haslab product? Would it be a role play item, or a Legends scaled vehicle or character?
  12. To those, including yourself @JayC, that are wondering about the headsculpt with the black wash, it is meant to convey the art where his face is hidden in shadow. Many artists color him this way. Check out this image!
  13. The packaging just absolutely be based off of the Spider-Man Classics Line. Sure, it’s not ‘retro’, but the nostalgia alone would sell me the entire wave. I think it’d be amazing
  14. A lot of stuff is recycled, no risk being taken, and if it is, it’s the wrong type of risk
  15. They could totally do a morph with a ton of heads, sort of like the Dani Moonstar so that he can be multiple characters if you so choose
