  1. Any bets on the excuse they use for not including the long staff from the promo pictures?
  2. Cowardly at best Hasbro! When you're not going to release "demonic" characters, do you really have to fix the underboob? Have you seen the Satana figure that you released just a few years ago? I don't remember you folding because she was comic accurate. I'm relieved as an X collector that I'm not missing the true Goblin Queen. I'll wait til they replace the CEO with someone who understands the fanbase better. Til then, I'll stick with my kitbash of Emma Frost's black costume with the Dark Phoenix head
  3. I was just looking back at the HISS and realized that not only was it less expensive, it also had smaller tiers. The 12k that opens up the first tier for Mephisto already had 2 tiers opened on the HISS. The base production is 1000 more than the HISS and the tiers appear to be based on 3k, where the HISS tiers were 2k. Smaller and smaller chance that I will be backing this project barring something amazing.
  4. This has got to be the backup plan. Whether or not the Hellcharger goes into production, they have a mockup of Mephisto that they can release to Fan Channel or pre-order. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mephisto come out later as a premium on Fan Channel anyway. Possibly alongside a retro-carded Robbie GR. Or gods forbid they do a GR line for the anniversary, with both Robbies, BAF Mephisto or Blackheart, etc. etc. They're not going to lose on this project regardless. With any hope, we collectors won't either, Haslab backers or not.
  5. The Haslab format is not bad in and of itself. It's an attempt to verify sales before undertaking an expensive project that could potentially fail at the general market level. By guaranteeing their market, they can produce items that would otherwise go unmade. That said, I'm still disappointed in this recent offering. The Cobra HISS ended up with 4 figures and a bunch of additions for a lower price. While 3 are already available for this, only 2 are "unique" in my opinion. Why do we need a Robbie when there is no Dan or Johnny? It's also a "one or the other" situation. The figures for the Cobra HISS could all be displayed together. For the Hell Charger, it's likely that only one or the other will be displayed. The Rider with the flames, or Robbie with the Street version. I'm loving that Mephisto is an offering for the first unlockable tier. I'm still going to have to see what comes after that to justify $350 though.
  6. I reached out to Hasbro Pulse. I pre-ordered Morph there for a dollar more months ago and it still says it won't be available until December? WTF? I'm seeing more and more things that make me get less inclined to continue purchasing Marvel Legends at all.
  7. Yeah, this doesn't say $350 yet. I'll be watching to be sure, but it won't break my heart yet to miss this.
  8. Love the Spidey 5-pack, but totally pissed at the fact that the D+ line is mostly What if, but has a BAF of Khonshu! I loved the Moon Knight figures, so I hope this comes out as a single release later.
  9. Spoiler alert: That's not a statue...It's a space station. It's a person in costume
  10. The Disney store screwed me on the X-force set. Held my order til now, then they didn't even have any to ship.
  11. I find that either Dark Phoenix or regular Phoenix with short hair Black Widow (MCU) makes a pretty good Rachel from when she wore the Phoenix costume.
  12. For way more than it's original price. Back to impossible for me.
  13. Disappointed but not surprised at another Wolverine. What pisses me off is the Mastermind when it's near impossible to get the Hellfire Club set
  14. I would love to get this figure except the bracers and boot tops look like white plastic that's been sun-aged. It would constantly make me think the figure is damaged even though it's not.
  15. They might have actually sold out if they accepted PayPal like their checkout window says they do...Something to think about Hasbro!
