  1. Personally I think they should have done the Gambit/Sinister story. Adam X even had pointy ears to be part Shi’ ar didn’t he? Not that it was a bad idea but they already recycled It for Vulcan. If Marvel wants to do retcons they should hire Johns. During his Green Lantern fun he took a lot of cheesy silver age ideas and brought some sense and cohesiveness to them.
  2. My recycling service excepts plastic containers like milk jugs but they don’t recycle plastic bags. So what makes a Simply Orange container recyclable and action figure bubbles and windows not? I remember years ago where there were Gundam figures (not the models) in packaging meant for display. It wasn’t unlike the G.I. Joe: Sigma 6 packaging, which also doubled as a foot locker. So why not go that route instead for the collectors who wouldn’t mind a nice display that doubles as a package and can be recycled by those who don’t?
  3. Well I’m glad I was wrong about a second AoA wave. I’m also glad so many people are getting some figures they wanted like Falcon, Stiltman, and 90’s Rogue. I wouldn’t have thought classic characters like Kang and Dormammu would look so good but there’s a lot of detail in those figures. Is there any hope M.O.D.O.K. will be the BAF for the Bad Guys wave?
  4. I feel the same. I’d still pick it up but $30 is a lot for a Pop! figure. EDIT: I just realized this is probably one of the oversized figures so price isn’t bad but space is an issue. Yes! Hasbro needs a mass release version of Hulk (I’m not counting the 2-pack with Wolverine) that’s easily obtainable. This has got to be one of the most popular Hulks. He was such a wise ass in the comics during that period too. The Peter David Omnibus vol. 2 is coming out this fall which features many of those stories. If Hasbro does this I hope he comes with an extra head or two cause this version of Hulk was more expressive. Having removable bandoliers and bunny slippers would be the cherry on top. Extra hands for holding guns and fisted ones too. Outside of Brotherhood Havok this is my most wanted Legends figure.
  5. I thought I remembered reading somewhere that a second AoA wave was a sure thing. Maybe that was just speculation before Apocalypse himself was revealed as a deluxe release instead of a BAF. Plus how can we have a Wild Child without a Sabretooth? I agree. Magneto, Rogue, and Sabretooth are easy to sell. Nemesis would probably be a BAF again. So four other figures in the wave if I’m right. I don’t think a AoA Colossus or Nightcrawler would peg-warm either. Nightcrawler wouldn’t need more than a new head and the armor parts, plus further down the road it’s use as an X-Force repaint makes it a no-brainer. As for people feeling mutant burnout, let’s not forget these waves are planned out at least a full year in advance. That’s why characters like Gwen Pool peg-warm while Mysterio was hard to get. By the time the Lizard BAF wave hit, demand for Gwen Pool had died and Far From Home was making its way into headlines. If you go back and read comments from when the first AoA wave was announced I’m sure you’ll see the hype was strong. Not to mention many people still want a 90’s Wolfebane and Feral. There’s plenty of demand for Brotherhood characters in this very discussion.
  6. I’d bet money it’s AoA wave 2. Toybiz did AoA Sabretooth and Hasbro hasn’t. Nemesis/Holocaust Hasbro has done and needs an update. AoA Magneto was done in the 3.75” line. AoA Rogue has been done by Toybiz but not in Legends and that’s the yellow glove.
  7. Hasbro has done a great job giving us many of the figures I was hoping for this last year. So keeping my fingers crossed. 1- 90’s Smart Hulk 2- 90’s Armored Daredevil 3- Netflix Season 3 Daredevil 4- X-Factor Wolfesbane 5- 90’s Dan Ketch Ghostrider w/bike 6- X-Force Siryn 7- Banshee (blue/yellow) 8- Brotherhood Havok 9- Generation-X Husk 10- Marrow (X-men) and as honorable mentions I’d still like to see Kaine and Spidercide from the clone saga.
