I think the forehead on this figure looks a little tall. I know she is wearing that head sock thing. I prefer the Love Triangle version. The face sculpt on this one looks good though.

Nice pictures. It's helpful to appreciate what we now have when you compare it to what used to be.

Thanks for the compliment on the photos. Cheers

I'm on record as saying I don't like "copy cat" characters. Then they did something worse, they turned her into an alt version of what I think is his worse look.

And YET her outfit looks better than his in action figure form! I'd buy hers over his in a blink.

They must have done something right there....

It's a surprise to be sure...the Elektra DD. I'm suprised that this King DD review shifted to how good the Elektra DD is. Thanks

This was the only figure I didn't have any interest in from the Mindless one wave, not a bad figure by any means, just this look does nothing for me, but oddly enough that being said, the Elektra in this outfit is amazing, weird, glad this didn't come with a BAF piece and could be skipped, like I said not bad for what it is, but just not a look I have an attachement to, nor do I like the whole Matt with a beard thing, Also really hate that the Baton holster seems so big and cumbsome, was it that dumb looking in the source material?? also this review showing that the red and blacks don't match to the Elektra, bugs me, Why Hasbro? makes no sense, you did this with Guardian and Vindicator, make the colors match!!!!!!!!

also off topic, but what is that Wonder Woman figure there? I love that.

Thanks mate. The Wonder Woman  you are referring to is Darna by LooseCollector (who recently made lady death, vampirella and shi 6 inch scale figures). She is the Philippines version (inspired) of Wonder Woman, first appeared year 1950 in  comics.

It's for sure the best Tom Holland Spidey yet, It's actually a really nice looking figure IMO, look ma, they painted the weblines ! , the likeness is really there, but he also has such a lifeless expression/look on his face it's a bit awkward, cool thing is about this figure is just how comic it is, and if you wanted to pop this into a comic display I'd say it would work.

Thanks for watching, I was struggling to find words to describe his facial expression..you described it spot on. Cheers

This is such a great figure, a real testament to when Hasbro wants to really give it a good go they can make something really awesome, nothing about this figure is unlikable (IMO), now not on topic but on the topic of multiple arms, they could really make a great update to Doppelganger and Six Arm Spidey using the tooling techniques they applied to this figure.

Agree, the Toybiz one still holds ok. It would look bad if Hasbro can't beat that.

I mistakenly thought this was a modified Moonstone mold due to the thighs but standing next to that Satana it's clearly a different mold. Hopefully they can convert this mold to be put in rotation of female bucks, it is truly stunning. It's both amazing and disheartening when Hasbro shows you what they're capable of, yet to realize 90 percent of what they do is just mailed in. Unless it's MCU or Disney+ related, of course. This is, most definitely the standout in this wave. It's a surprisingly well done figure for it's time, done even better. Hopefully they can do a similar makeover to She-Hulk from the Blob series, which was similarly well done for it's time, yet in need of an update.

Thanks, it was great for once Hasbro did the right thing. But as expected, the other figures in the wave have to take a hit. Multiple man is on an old body mold with pins. Avalanche with pins and missing angry head. Wolverine with those cheap thin claws. Longshot and Phoenix came with their old headsculpts just painted differently. Well it is what it is, thankfully Spiral turned out great.

One of the very few figures I'm looking forward to. I could gush over how well its done, but this is really what they're supposed to be doing anyway- making the figure in the iconic look it should be in. Great example of how they can do it when they choose to. Cant get here soon enough!

Thanks. It was a comic book figure given the MCU treatment. The costume of Spiral is given sculpted details so it's not a person in body paint. Hasbro typically paint over generic body molds for comic figures, this was an exception. Really well done.

The new Elektra head sculpts are really amazing. I can't say enough about how they've improved these female heads (notably the Blue Marvel head was incredible too, although his is on a body that is just too small, in scale to where he should be).

The red bandana head from the SP//DR wave was fantastic; that face really came out well, and I thought really captured her Greek heritage. The straighter hair was more in-line with her look in the comics, and was softer plastic which allowed for more movement. These new heads have an updated, wavier hair, also very Greek, but the plastic is so thick it doesnt allow for much movement. Here, the Elektra body has been improved and looks more appropriate from the previous molds they've used for her. Definitely would have benefited from the outfit being sculpted here and there instead of just painted on. Pinless limbs were the way to go here, good job.

Great points, the Elektra headsculpt is well done. Agree that pinless & double jointed elbows and knees are the way to go. Thanks for checking out my review.

My Father-In-Law always asks us for Christmas lists and this year I started giving him my list really early in the year (Pre-Order Marvel Legends figures). I highly suggest this tactic - I saved a lot of money on figures this year and got a bunch of toys for Christmas (felt like a kid again)! Merry Christmas to all!

Happy holidays, thanks for checking my review.

God I hope that DD figure gets a single rerelease! Also that Elektra too in red! And that the red and skin tones match the original Elektra so you can pop on the original head.

If Hasbro does (most likely), I hope it would be a better representation of how he is drawn in the 90s, with paint wash to bring out the DD logo. Thanks for watching

Man this figure looks nice, of course it looks so much more intricate and well sculpted compared to the Legend (which I like), obviously this more premium item should be better, I love this figure, if I didn't have a ML jean in this outfit already, I'd shuck out the dough to get this.

Thanks 🙏 luckily I got the bigbadtoystore credit from this forum over 2 years ago so used it up to get this figure 🙂 mafex articulation and details are so good however I find the figure thin.

Yeah I would be surprised if Fang didn't come with Logan parts.

I'm still thinking we will see a Ghost Rider wave regardless of the HasLab

Fang is guaranteed to come with a Wolverine head and claws.

As for Ghost rider, it will all depends on whether or not the Haslab succeeds. No point in making a tie-wave when there is nothing to tie in is there.

Probably it's a chance for hasbro to reuse the Puma body, see photo of my kit bash of Wolverine in Fang costume (puma body)

Just one of the things I point out for those who felt that the Rouge/Ms. Marvel/Gamora/Loki mold was "too much" for kids to see in stores. Kids saw this 'toon 30 years ago, and it was fine. Kids didn't turn into crazed deviants due to depictions of curvy characters, whether they were on screen or molded in plastic (or whatever other hysterical fears those people have). This is how the characters were shown in the comics. Its all about accuracy.

I prefer the Apocalypse from the BAF but if you're a fan of the 90s cartoon, here you go.

Thanks mate. Agree, it is very 90s for superheroes to be drawn with such body proportions. It is POP culture history 🙂  it is unfortunate though in the modern age, this is being branded as inappropriate or degrading females. People forget this is ART, ART does not shy away from celebrating the beauty of the human anatomy. Cheers
