    Oh absolutely. While deluxe figures do seem to come with a decent assortment of accessories to help justify a higher price, it's still a load of bull. Yes higher oil prices and what not but as I said on a previous post, Hasbro admitted that with the new pegless articulation they are saving a good deal of money. Apparently that savings isn't being passed on to the customer. I'm glad I pick and choose characters vs buying everything legends.

    So I guess it's safe to say that we're probably going to see a new Red Skull, here? Or maybe I'm missing something.

    I'm fully expecting to this to be the new price for deluxe, just so there's no disappointment if it actually happens. Thankfully I don't see myself getting too many but I feel for completionists. Modok and Thanos will be the first I've ever bought.

    Re-releasing it with some paint apps would take that figure from a 7 to a 10. Id love to see it as a deluxe with some of the new war machine accessories.

    I'm really hoping that skull figure is Red Skull. I'm hoping the day comes when we get him in his green jumpsuit. Regardless, it's looking like an interesting year so far for the line.

    Did they really? Because I was reading at the time and remember everyone dropping Spidey and the books involved with Reborn. I ended up with all that stuff because friends hated it.. Not to mention this was the time period Marvel filed for bankruptcy and sold their rights out to the film companies.

    I haven't forgotten the Mandroid. That was the only baf I ever completed by buying the figures. I sold it and have regretted it ever since. Great figure.

    I get that, but between them revisiting the Clone Saga with Miles and now this, I just don't understand. That time frame was a serious low for Marvel.

    Random Marvel Creator: "Dude...remember when we did that Heroes Reborn story back in the 90s and everyone hated it so we had to do an event to fix it? We should do that again!" Seriously. I'm sure it's an event book that's just going to be the alternate heroes showing up in the 616 and battles ensue but still. Sheesh.

    This was my first reaction as well but then I took a good look at my stand-in Marvel Select Thanos and seeing how much of a brick that thing is, the Legend one puts it to pasture. I do wish the elbows were a little better but at the same time I almost never use elbow joints to that degree anyway since most poses I use the joints are more natural and slight.

    I voted for her classic just because it is my favorite costume of hers but I'd probably grab the Avengers look too. I could see them doing that one with the deluxe Black Widow buck very easily.

    Hmm. I hadn't really thought of that. It makes perfect sense but I still think a neutral sculpt should have been included as well. I'm fine with the sculpt we're getting but a neutral face would have made this almost perfect.

    I feel you on switching fanaticisms, I was all about Venom/Spidey all through school until I found Cap. I still want to see the figures even though I don't need them. If they only did one wave Doc Ock would be the must have for a baf as he was easily the best handled villain in that trilogy. A second wave would have to be Sandman.

    I'm beyond excited for this guy. The size is right and it puts the Select to shame. Can't wait to have him on the shelf.

    That right there is why 4 inch scale is my absolute favorite. Sure, a 6 inch figure has more detail and articulation but vehicles and accessories at this scale are always interesting since they can do so much world building.

    Yeah, that's true. It'll be a jerk move if they charge the higher price. It'll also probably kill that wave as I don't see it moving off the shelves much.

    They'll do great on the aftermarket though. Once the film drops and everyone has suddenly been a "huge Eternals fan for years" people will be scrambling to buy them.

    Personally, I've never cared for the baf setup. The few I have were purchased assembled since I never buy entire waves. Since they've started I have really liked the deluxe option for bigger characters or characters with tons of accessories. That said, I do agree that bafs should have their accessories.

    It's a beautiful figure but unfortunately you're right and it isn't the version I'd hoped for. That's ok though, it'll happen someday.

    I get that, but if that were the case shouldn't the price have gone up a few years ago when oil was ridiculously high? Regardless, I'm not bailing since Legends is the only modern toy line I collect. I just hope this is as high as it goes for a good while.

    I really don't understand the increase in price. Hasbro has done a few changes with the line and brought some the quality up, sure, but the big change coming is going pegless which they said was good for cost savings. Maybe pass the savings on to the consumer and at least keep the price the same? I'm just glad I bought the last of the characters I needed already. It'll be extreme cherry picking now.
