It makes sense when you think of a massive guy like that not really having much bend anyway. It's just an odd choice considering bigger figures/characters have a lot better range. Personally, all he needs to do is be able to punch or stand there looking up at the gems so I'm good with it. And ill take it if it means it looks like Perez/Lim drew him. They're 2 of my favorite artists of all time.

I think that looks pretty good. My only issue is more a personal one but I don't like windswept hair as the figure will always look either in motion or like they're in a wind storm.

Your comment made me go back and rewatch the video and you're right. It's actually more remarkable how little the arm can move. Personally, I don't need him to do much but that is pretty weak when 80th Hulk can do almost anything with his articulation.

I liked the MS because it was the closest to classic Thanos we had even if he was a bit too big. That said, the minute this went for pre-order my MS started packing his things. It looks like it walked right off the pages of Infinity Gauntlet.

I honestly would have preferred that over the alternate head that they included. While Thanos does sneer a lot in the comics it would have been nice to shelve him neutral. Still, I do have to say that at least the gritted face is an excellent sculpt.

Yes to both of these. Costume changes never work out. Just leave them alone and tell a story. You're never going to top those classic designs.

I don't read Spidey but I really hope that costume is one and done. Just awful.

I really like the old school vibe of these. If it's not expensive I may get the Cap variant...especially since that'll be the best part of issue 28 considering the writing lately.

I do wish there was a head with a neutral expression included in this but I did pre-order it the day it was announced. This is definitely replacing my Select version.

I'm also a very niche reader. I just stick to Cap and Avengers. I'm also horrible with names, lol.

I know Bennett, Ross, Epting, Hughes, Samnee and Bagley. I've been reading comics since 93 and don't recognize most. Maybe when I see their art I'll recognize them. I really wish Ron Garney or Ron Lim would have been on the list. That's exactly what I assume it'll be.

Wow. Brag about the artwork featured inside and slap a cover on it with some incredibly hideous art. Why do they all look like zombies or really old people? The vast majority of the artists listed here I don't even know who they are. Also, why redo stories from the past? How about various new stories celebrating Caps long career spanning these 80 years? It'd be nice to revisit some of his various time periods and past friends and relationships but from new creators. Complaints aside, I do have to admit I'll likely get this as Captain America is my favorite and John Cassaday is one of my favorite artists ever so I'll check it out to see what he does.

I would buy a 1979 Cap so fast it would break the sound barrier. That and a 1990 Cap/Red Skull. I would likely pick up a Bixby Hulk and Thor too. This really is a cool idea...if only Hasbro were reading this article...

Ah the 90s. I figured she had worn it somewhere but I haven't read much from the 90s. Well, since the 90s anyway.

God I love that cover. I definitely remembered her from that and the Daredevil books at the time. I just don't remember her wearing a jacket at all...

I'm beyond excited to have this piece in hand. Sadly though, my pre-order is through Amazon so I assume it's going to be a loooooong time before he ships.

Wait, did the Hulk/Wolvie set go to regular retail? I could have sworn it was fan channel only. (Could very likely be wrong.) As for the others I did see the Gray Hulk at a GameStop but it was 50-60 bucks (can't remember which.) I don't know anyone who managed to snag that sdcc version, which I like better than the others. Wish they'd done a mass release of that one.

Marvel Legends Black Widow Wave In-Hand Images
sentinelofliberty41 replied to JayC's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
I guess the best thing would be to take my time and watch eBay. I think that sounds the best route for sure. Thanks for the input! I'm definitely just going to wait it out and either buy the parts I need or just get an assembled one and trade off my extras. Like you said, I'd have to come across a ludicrously cheap deal to come out on top if I sold them off. I appreciate the reply to my question. Thanks.- 39 replies

Marvel Legends Black Widow Wave In-Hand Images
sentinelofliberty41 replied to JayC's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
True, that is an option. My only concern is that I've seen pieces going for so much it's almost worth buying the whole figure, lol. That's definitely something I can try though, thanks!- 39 replies

Marvel Legends Black Widow Wave In-Hand Images
sentinelofliberty41 replied to JayC's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
I know this is kind of a dumb question but I never get build a figures but I really like this Dynamo. Would you guys recommend buying the whole wave and selling off the unwanted figures (I just need winter soldier and crossbones) or just bite the bullet and buy the baf by itself? Bafs usually go for so much I'm not sure which is best.- 39 replies

That Morales comment genuinely made me laugh. As for the new body I'm just going off a ShartimumPrime video where he mentioned that in an interview he was told there were changes coming to the female buck. Hopefully it will address all those issues.

If I'm not mistaken there's supposed to be a new female body mould coming sometime soon. I'm with you and really hoping it addresses that problem. The arms and legs on most female legends need work. And maybe some new hands, I'm really tired of the Enchantress spell casting hands.
